They are awesome live, and such nice people to meet in person! 'Evolve' from the 2023 MTV VMAs, and anything from Teatro Metropolitan is great. Also, they have a concept album, _Queen of the Murder Scene,_ which tells the story of a girl going from unrequited love to obsession, stalking, murder, and then the battle against her evil side for her soul. And it starts with the drummer singing lead while still drumming furiously in 'Dust to Dust'.

Oh Charis, I have been watching your channel for a while and was waiting for this day to come. The Warning is my favorite band and I couldn’t wait to see you react to them. They are brilliant musicians, vocalists, and people, all three of them. There isn’t a bad song and they write their own stuff. If you want live music anything from their live Teatro performance from last year is amazing. Dani is the blond and sings lead most times, but the drummer Pau sings lead on several songs and backup on all songs. Alé will sing lead on a couple songs on tour to give Dani a break, which is a huge treat to us The Warning fans. If you want to experience more of Daniella's (Dany's) range, they just dropped a new song today called Hell You Call A Dream (as well as another called Que Mas Quieres... and another one called S!CK a month ago). Dany (24) is the principal lead, but Pau (Paulina, 22) also sings lead on some songs. Pau is the drummer, principal song writer, and as I said, vocalist. Ale (Alejandra, 19) is the Bassist, and backing vocalist. They are releasing their 4th album called Keep Me Fed on June 28th. ⚡
The info for Ale (Alejandra, 19) should be Bassist, human metronome and backing vocalist. 🥰

Why would you recommend those two to a VOCAL coach? She wants to hear their voices, not a bunch of badly mixed soaked in filters versions of what they actually sound like. I know everyone wants to help push the new songs, but that isn't what she would want to hear. A fancam of HYCAD live would actually be better than the album version.
Yeah, as Matthew said (though maybe a bit too harshly), the new songs, due to how heavily compressed Dany's vocals are, are definitely not the best options for checking out her singing prowess. Actually, anything other than the last 4 singles would be better in that regard.
Background which you thought was an echo is actually the drummer Paulina 22 "goes by Pau", Dany 24 is lead singer, Ale 19 is bass player.
Slight correction. In the studio version, the echo vocals were recorded by dany. When they play it live, Ale sings that part solo because of the overlap when Dany has to hold her note.
Dust to dust is an awesome video as well the drummer is the lead singer on that song

The Warning was my favourite discovery of 2023, should be seeing them live in April! They are great performers and I would say live is always the way to go - for your next step can I suggest either _Disciple_ from Teatro Metropolitan or _Evolve_ from the VMAs. Dani usually sings lead, but Pau does quite often; Ale doesn't like to sing lead but will do very occasionally. They all do harmonies. Plenty more to discover along the way, though!

This very video was my first exposure to The Warning, when I think it was Julia Nilon who did a reaction to it. I quickly went looking for more! There's really no such thing as a bad video from them, but their live videos tend to be even better than their official music videos.
Daniella is the bleach blonde, guitarist, and does the bulk of the solo singing. Paulina has starting dying her hair red, is a great drummer, and sings the lead on some songs. Alejandra plays the bass, and tends to stick to backing vocals; she's considered the introverted one. They're all trained on piano as well.

They toured all summer of 2022 with Halestorm. Two great voices (Dany and Lzzy), and two rocking drummers. Was a great show, beginning to end.
These Sisters are Great live. Like others have said, check out any live song from Teatro Metropolitan concert on their channel. There are 22 songs to choose from. They are all Great. The Drummer sings lead on a few songs too. They can all sing. Great singers and songwriters and they will Rock your face off.

Surprisingly, I really liked their TEDX talk and 3 song performance a few months back at the University of Nevada. They did 2 of these with 2nd one when they were a little older being the best one. There are SO many videos of them. including concert performances, behind-the-scenes, and so many more. I a boatload of videos.
the 1st TEDx was done in 2016... the 2nd one was a year later in 2017... both are excellent and what they say between each of the songs is very informative... both are definitely worth the watch...

You fund the rabbit hole of The Warning, a band with almost 60 original songs and some really good covers (they have a nick for doing covers better than the original is). To get some perspective go watch their cover of Enter Sandman in 2014, then watch their version of that song in 2021, live at teatro Metropolitan in Mexico city in 2022. Yes, they have been professional for 10 years now and they grow by the minute. They have just released two more (they have done a song called that too) songs from their upcoming 4th album. Three sisters from Mexico and they are awesome live! I've seen them 3 times. They do have a couple of songs in spanish and just released a couple of new songs off of their up coming album and one of those is in spanish as well. Ale was only 9 when they started and the bass was bigger than she was. 😂 Now at 19, she is the tallest of the 3 sisters. Dany has so much energy and Pau is a great drummer plus sings and runs the computer that controls the metronome and any pre-recorded background stuff. They are all so talented! You need to react to live performances. 😁

I see The Warning Army has been here in force... Yes, watch their live stuff. They have a number of official concert videos on their channel from 2015 and later. Prodigy is a good word... They have been a band for over ten years, so there is a TON of work out there. TWO lead singers - Dany sings about 80% of leads and Paulina sings most of the rest, with Ale jumping in as relief lead when she's not singling background vocals. Pau is Drumeo's Rock Drummer of the Year for 2023! Pau also just received the esteemed Global Award at the Decididas Summit. It's further evidence of her remarkable literary and melodic abilities. At just 22 years old, she has proven herself to be an accomplished lyric writer and musician, and an awesome inspiration to many people. This band's appeal is to all demographics, including a lot of is who grew up in the 1960s and '70s on similar music. BTW I'm the proud parent of twin theatre kids, now 25...
Welcome to the The Warning rabbit hole. They are three sisters who started playing classical piano at the ages of 4-6. After being introduced to the RockBand videogame they picked up other instruments too. At the age of 13, 11 and 8 they decided to play together. They are now 24 , 22 and 19.
They're actually sisters, yes lol. Dany is the lead singer. Incredible voice. Pau(lina), the drummer, does a lot of backing vocals and some lead singing in the band as well. She has a great voice as well and also plays piano. Ale(jandra), the bassist, also sings backing vocals (she does the "let me drown" lower octave in the dropout of this song). There's a live version of "Choke" performed on 8/29/2022 in their concert at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (aka Mexico City). Highly recommended. See comments below for other recommendations from that concert. All good. Following The Warning in their evolution from kids to now is quite a journey and largely captured in UA-cam videos.

The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
They are going to release their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024 and have released 4 songs "MORE", "SICK", "Hell You Call a Dream", and "Que Mas Queries" (What More Do You Want) from the upcoming album.
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #48 original songs (and recently finished recording their 4th studio album).
Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many.
Drummer Paulina recently won Rock Drummer of the Year in Drumeo's recent poll and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

Yes, Daniela is the lead singer in most of their songs, but Pau has sang lead (while playing drums) in a handful of them too! All three of them sing at least backup vocals and have amazing voices. They just released new music yesterday and are going to release an album on June 28th.

6:10 I am an absolute sucker for that effect - having the forward vocal being mild or spoken-word while there's a background vocal belting or screaming, it's like the singer is trying to stay calm but the emotions underneath are screaming for release.

I went through the comments and noticed there was no mention of the concert where the delivery was not as polished as it has become, but the passion and theatrics are paramount. Check out the Lunario Concert of Queen of the Murder Scene. A concept concert ( and album) written when they were early and mid teens, performed in their mid/lat teens, and the last of the well recorded concerts where the passion is greater than their tech prowess. After this masterpiece , the still massive passion is swamped by their increasing tech precision. Not less passionate, just more "perfectly" delivered. I suspect a theatre person will appreciate the delivery of it. Dani's Crimson Queen is a true piece of magnificence...

First time seeing your channel, and it was less than a minute before I knew I was going to subscribe (it was 0:30 specifically that convinced me, because... girl, same).
The Warning is such a great band, and I'm always glad to see more people reacting to them! They're awesome, in the most literal sense of the word. Even their earliest songs are great, and with each new one, they set the bar higher with no signs of slowing down!

For live performance, I suggest Evolve from the 2023 MTV VMAs. Then anything from the 2022 Teatro (Tay-ah-tro) Metropolitan concert. Teatro Metropolitan is the Carnegie Hall of Mexico. Dany (Dan-nee) is the guitar player. Pau (POW! like the sound she makes) is the drummer. Ale (Ah-leh) is the bass player. All sing. All are classically trained pianists. Dany sing leads on 80% of their songs. Pau sings lead on the other 20%. Ale sings lead when Dany's voice is tired, but mostly she does supporting vocals because she is shy. Of their 52 songs (3 albums with a new one coming in June) 3 are in Spanish and rest are in English all written by them. As TWA says in welcome, You have been Warned!

Dany is the principal lead singer, although Pau sings lead on several songs, and Ale reluctantly will sing lead when Dany needs to rest her voice. All three sing, and all three play piano. Alejandra on bass is the youngest and the tallest. Paulina on drums is the middle child, and the principal lyricist. Pau is a petite powerhouse! I've been checking out their stuff since their cover of "Enter Sandman" from around 10 years ago popped into my UA-cam feed. Immediately hooked, they've got dozens of covers and original music here.
Their reimagining of "Enter Sandman" from their Teatro Metropolitan CDMX show in 2022 is amazing and I highly recommend watching it. They just released 2 new singles today. One, "Heel You Call A Dream" I've seen the live performance of and another "S!ck" the music video last week. I also really enjoyed the title song from their album XXI Century Blood, that one is from 2018.
I love where her voice's "home" range is. Nice choice, and they have a good fanbase (which sometimes overlaps with the fanbases of BAND-MAID and Lovebites). I like when your musical intelligence pushes through into your videos. Duck Duck Films FTW! Duelling Charisjos at the end?
Before starting to play the Rock Band video game they were all classically trained on piano.

What would I recommend? Well there’s a few that I am sure you will like: XXI century blood, the video for this has several prestigious awards, quite rightly so bearing it in mind they were in their teens except Alejandra who was 12 if I recall correctly!
Evolve, Live performance from the MTV VMAs, they’re still trying to find the roof 😂. Finally Disciple from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX, a professional recording of the whole concert. For any tracks you want it’s best to go to their UA-cam channel, you’re less likely to be hit with copyright issues!

They've just dropped two new songs today, and wanting more? Their last single was called More!!! You really need to listen to them live as they have such good energy, and are brilliant live performers. Anything from the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX performance, or the song 'Evolve' from the MTV VMA's is an excellent introduction!
That's Dany the guitarist singing lead vocals, but they all sing. Pau (POW!) the drummer takes lead on a number of songs, and Alejandra (bass) has also sung lead for Dany when she has had to rest her voice or hasn't been too well. Depending on who's singing, the remaining two will do the backing vocals.
Yep, she's saying 'drown' not 'die'!! It's about being so totally overwhelmed by emotions that you feel like you cannot breathe, they overcome you like you're drowning - intense!

I suggest their performance of Evolve at the 2023 MTV VMA’s side stage and all 22 videos of their Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert in 2022. These are the best quality and the ladies are even better “live”!! Good starting point because this is a deep rabbit hole considering they have been performing for over 10 years and have film of just about everything!!!😊⚡️

Hello there if u ever want to react to more from this band maybe consider doing their songs from the beginning to now and watch how they have evolved into who they are today its an incredible transformation these 3 sisters have gone through. Ps they were on Ellen and were given 10 k each from ellen which they used to attend Harvard Musical school and so they slowly launched their career from there But start with their cover to enter sandman they go each year after that and choose a song from 2011 2012 and so on.

At the time of this video release in 2021 they were 21, 19, and 16 years old!!!
They are so good. They just put out 2 new songs and have a new album coming out in June. It’s about time they start getting recognized and more recognition. Their Metallica cover is so good. Also I’ve known about them for years. They have 2 songs in rock band 4 (survive and free falling)

You will hear many times they are best live. It's true. They have many live recordings they put out themselves that have professional audio quality.
