Worth mentioning the importance of purging new lines prior to fitment as a lot of ball bearing cartridges have restrictors built in which can block easily. Oiling requirements between ball & journal bearing turbos do differ quite a bit (most ball bearing setups have a 0.8-1mm restrictor on the inlet & hence flow less oil) but being on the bigger side is the safer option. There are also pressure regs out there too as well as inline oil filters which maybe a wise precaution depending on where in the oil system the feed is being taken.
Doug I see you are really coming up with needs to be done with 6th gen and turbo turbo setup I would love to get some information from you I have 17 zl1 I want to put bad ass turbo setup in but nothing good out there I see your setup n I’m excited please let me know when you have a second
Y piece to the to the turbos. But seperate drains. Problem is all the fancy fittings do not come in a proper Y. Most of them are a restriction in the lines. And any 90deg corner reduces oil pressure by as much as 10lb One of the reasons I make my own. And do not use braided line either. Hydraulic hose is heavier but can be used for decades. As can the steel barbed fittings Unsure of what is available in smaller sizes but 1/2" up never a problem
I’m doing an LS swap with a remote filter block with a thermostatic pass thru to an oil cooler. It won’t be a gm oil pan so the plate won’t work. Would it be possible to get oil for the turbos from the hole where the oil pressure sensor goes, behind the intake manifold?
Little tech tips like this safe people money and heartache!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us
These Guys KNOW THEIR STUFF!!
Would love to see one on motor plate's and fittings that bolt to them
Thanx,I was looming for a splitter!
Awesome stuff thanks! Doing a twin turbo set up next week
I run a billet distribution block after oil cooler , gauge , both turbos each have a line and oil temp sender.
Great tip Doug and digging the “Master of Burnouts” , “Ride the Nitrous” MotioN themed shirt...
Aren’t they awesome? One of my fav shirts we have done
Where is “Street Outlaw Torn”?
Daisy chaining them seems like a horrible idea, good call on not doing that. Great video
Done it both ways. Didn’t notice any diff 15 years on daily driving.

Great job.

What is your opinion or oil less turbos I have seen used on a c8 twin turbo Vette
be cool if it had 1 way valves on each outlet
How to size intercooler
As big as you can fit my opinion is can't be too big.

That's common since lol
What?!? I figured that was just common sense. Some people just need to stay away from engines
