Great Barrier Reef Fishing and Exploring in My New Boat….

- First fishing trip in the new boat and even though I still haven’t loaded all my marks in, it definitely didn’t disappoint!!!
Started off with a bit of jigging on the low tide for red emperor and trout and as the water came up we moved up onto the flats to explore. Epic day out and some top quality fish to top it off!

Haha yeah she always does it! Not her PB she got an 83cm fish at the islands in my tinny a couple of years ago but it’s her first time out in over 8 months…

Great looking boat. How is the stability with the big hard-top?
So far it’s pretty good, haven’t had it out in the rough at rest yet… but even in the current lines with the pressure waves it isn’t any more rolly than other 233s I’ve been in.

It’s a venting needle which helps release air after fish are caught from a depth.

I like bringing the mrs fishing. I always know the esky will be looking good by the end of the day. How they always outfish us ill never know
Hahaha they have that extra bit of finesse than us blokes, that or we overthink it with perfect techniques and presentations and maybe the truth is that fish are dumber than we think and our over presented offerings look too fake 🤷🏼♂️😂
