" More than 25 years after three murders in Toronto, Marcello Palma walks free
This is how the correctional system is supposed to work: Denunciation for the crime, rehabilitation toward release, writes Rosie DiManno.
Because only those felons designated as dangerous offenders, with indeterminate prison sentences, might never taste freedom again."
NO it's NOT supposed to be how it works!!! it's not about "rehabilitation" it's about PUNISHMENT for killing someone! who gives a damn if they "taste freedom" again, the 3 dead victims in this guy's case can only taste the dirt in their coffins!
