    🕵‍♂ Crime Sleuths, what do you think about the use of unconventional evidence like beer bottles or insect larvae in solving murder cases? 🧐

      To be fair this kind of evidence has been used for many years now, and is sound as long as it is performed by good scientific technicians. Another useful tool to catch serious offenders.

    Man this last one was a doozie! I've been alone since a divorce for about 20 years. Just never met the right person and I struggle on occasion with depression and loneliness. But after watching that last one?? lmao Well I guess things could be worse 😵‍💫

      Wow, I'm not the only one, after I left the father of my son I had one more partner, but the trauma I sustained from the father of my son I couldn't cope so quickly in a new relationship and needed some space..that was 20,5 years ago. I rarely looked and if I did I wasn't impressed with the new pool of fish in the pond. So I just gave up altogether , and now can't even handle just thinking of having to share my home, my life etc and all those responsibilities and rules you have to adhere to if you want a healthy and happy relationship. Bit like a garden really if you don't maintain it it just goes haywire and has nothing beautiful left to offer.
      And I'm sooo not interested anymore. I happen to like my life just as it is ...my son who has his own life ,my pets who are my family and some friends for just wonderful company. I read, study renovate, cook, bake etc...Im the epitome of a real spinster🤣🤣And really happy living it. And when I'm bored I just watch either a streaming site or UA-cam. Hope you are as happy as I if not I hope you find it in 2024.

      @@Ainaes-Feline Thanks for that kind reply. I am happy but mostly due to my nightly Miller Lite ritual 🤣 I try not to overdo it and eat really clean but really would prefer not to be alone and just got tired of being depressed so, well, I go to bed pretty happy now lolol but it really doesn't take too many cold ones to get me there so that's a plus.
      And like you said, dealing with another human being, readjusting, all the past crappy relationships (not all of course) and all that also helps as a reminder how horrible things could easily go South and right now, well I get along pretty good with myself so I'm getting by okay 😄

    I love seeing the epic lengths police had to go to to solve these old cases. I mean today DNA would have made some of these cases so easy to solve ie the beer bottles in the first case. The logic and the amazing police work with such limited resources is fascinating to watch.
    Also it makes me feel old having been born in the 80s long before DNA and DNA Genealogy were even available.
    The actual science used in these cases though are amazing.😮😊

    I'm shocked that Beck's defense attorney didn't ask how many bottles are produced on one line in 15 minutes. Considering all those bottles ended up in a case (or a multitude of cases), at least one of which was sent to the store Beck bought them at, why didn't his attorney raise reasonable doubt? Other shoppers would have picked up six-packs with the exact same coding at the same store. It's not a slam dunk, though I'm glad his defense attorney was an idiot.

    • @seraphinaaizen6278
      @seraphinaaizen6278 4 місяці тому +2

      He may very well have asked that. But I'm not quite sure that would rise to the level of reasonable doubt.
      Keep in mind it isn't JUST about the beer bottles. It's about the other evidence. You've got a gun linked to him that was used in the murder and other supporting evidence, and now you've got beer bottles at the scene of the crime with are linked to him as well. Accepting that someone else happened to buy beer made in the exact same fifteen minute interval as the case he owned, and just happened to be drinking at the exact spot of the murder, rises above the level of happenstance.

    I recall two or more cases where Maggots are used to find time of death. The case where they mentioned the body was in the water and could not identify the DNA. Even though I have not seen cases, it just came to my mind that when there is an unknown reason for a sickness, they extract the Bone Marrow to do some test. Question: What about the DNA in bone marrow, the body was in the water and not on dry land for the marrow to be dried? Even in that case, a birthed mother with placenta or umbilical still left back in one case is also evidence to find DNA, why not bone marrow? Does maggots have DNA?

      Even in humans one can have two DNA if they had "bone marrow" transfer. One different in the place of the transfer from the original contributor.

    The police have evidence of attempted homicide by poisoning but because his ex drops the charges he is released without prosecution. If they had followed through, would his second wife, who he was successful in killing, be alve today? A crime is committed, it is the job of the DA to prosecute.
