"Are drone delivery services taking over" no. saved somebody 5 minutes. Totally forgot to mention the one place where drone deliveries truly are taking over.

Wow I think this article got it wrong. Homeowners in the US do not own the airspace above there homes. If that's the case then where is all my back pay for all the stuff flying over my home. You may need to check the facts in this story. Navigation in the NAS is free to all, you pay to get a ride in it.
Saying "Most aircraft fly in controlled airspace" is grossly incorrect. In good weather there can be 10, TEN, times the number of takeoffs and landings of GA aircraft compared with commercial aircraft, here in the UK. And drones cannot comply with the See and Avoid rules of Airlaw anyway. But, sadly, those that want to make loads of money out of it will eventually prevail I suspect. Same old story really.
Yes, because there are people w8ing in line to get a job as delivery person. Source? I work as owner and manager of delivery company. We even pay above market salaries and no one thinks of it as a dream job.
@@jakoflynn2560 valid point. I wonder what it would do to our hearing, birds and other wildlife. I will say my drone has a habit of attracting all the nearby wasps and yellowjackets. I wonder which air-rights marketplace in the US they are mentioning here. Anyone?

those are problems that can be solved. doesn't mean it is impossible though :)
Criminals are likely to order a $1 package and steal the drone and resell it.

In the nineties, we thought there would be flying cars by 2020. 😂😂😂
Great, Amazon packages and your neighbors pizza delivery falling out of the sky killing people. Hahaha
Teslabots will be hand delivering packages to your door long before safe drones are developed.

Most people in the US live within a 5 mile radius of a restricted airspace airport so no. You cannot fly a drone there.
1 passel per trip and returning empty.
Why would i want a drone delivery that i have to pick up when they deliver to my doorstep now 🤔
Better than "a message" dropped of by a little bird hehe

Noise??? Talk about literal buzz kill
Unless you have the hearing of a dog you can’t hear a drone that’s more than maybe 40 meters away.
