Working on my Kymco People 50cc, and this helped me visualize what I need to check. The previous owner had "replaced the tires" - and he did a good job, but said he lost speedometer after this. I checked/replaced fuses to be sure, but this video is a perfect explanation of what I'm looking to check now. Thank you!
Thank you for this video dude I’ve just completely restored my Yamaha BWs spy & forgot what way the bolt went in & what side the spacer went on.. my front wheel every time I did it up it was like the break was stuck on the wheel would not turn but now after watching your video I’ve set it up correctly thank you dude keep making videos ✌️ from the UK
Nice video, I have a 150 and the speedometer is exactly 5mph off, would replacing my drive gear solve the issue or is there a way to calibrate whats there to give me an accurate reading? TY
Hi! I'm honestly not sure if replacing this unit would help the issue. That sounds like it could be more of a computer/control cluster thing that interprets the data. I'm sorry I can't be of more help.
Hi! I just checked back, and I believe I purchased it from Scooter Dynasty, however they no longer seem to have it in stock. I do know it was an SYM OEM part, so it might be worth looking that up or contacting a SYM dealer. Sorry I can't be of more help!

I know it's been a year since you posted this video but do you remember where you got The speedometer hub from?
