THANK YOU so much for the great video, no b.s., very straightforward and helpful, and helped me out of a struggle when I couldn't find anything else on the web about my problem.. (unrelated problem, but you showed clearly the workings of the components and the use of the puller...) . what humility lol and a challenge .... thanks again
Glad it helped! You're welcome. Be sure to look over my extensive video playlists below for many other videos of interest to you, and most importantly take one minute to share links to my videos with others on social networking sites. Thank you

Awesome bro.. thanks for this. I was able to do all that you showed except for that tool that slides the wheel off. Dint have that. But it came off pretty easy. I changed my tire, which was the hardest part of the process. After completion, I went to the tire shop for air. Only for him to take the tire off, wrk on it put it back on with ease and filled it up. I was destroyed!.. but my mission was taking the wheel off which I was able to. Thanks a lot man!! Good stuff!
Great job nice and patience of explaining

You can take the wheel off without removing the exhaust manifold, just let the air out the tire, you can compress the tire pass the manifold without all the extra work.
Probably would work. :-)

I I got to ask you where to get the pulley
if wheel keeps spinning while removing nut you just press rear breaks. use rope tied around handle if you are alone.
Useful thanks
Great to hear Kyle!
The muffler gets supplied from the house or you did you put it?
Yes. Factory.
nice, thanks

Thanks. Did not help much but at least you tried. :)
Do you have any videos showing how to get the bearings out that are in that plate that slides over the rear wheel?
Hello. No. I don't have a video for that, but you should be able to use a large screwdriver and hammer to tap them out, or a socket to remove and install them.
I believe grease on all threads is advised.
I need some advice because my yy150-12 has the brake out the wheel. I’m not sure what wrong but it’s not my belt or motor. My scooter will move either direction about 3 feet then lock up. I honestly don’t know what I am doing just need advice or pointed in the right direction
what do we use to pull the break lining thing off if we dont have a puller or whatever it’s called
I was hoping maybe you can help me I did what you showed in the video and with the puller on the swing arm, it still won't come off from the rim. It's a ice bear 150cc clone of the Yamaha Zuma.
Really helpful 👌👌👌👌🤣🤣😄✅✅✅✅

ok thanks
thanks. i have a question my kymco super super 8 rear mags/wheels is very hot after using it. is it normal?
Sounds like the brake shoes are hanging up.
Quick question do you have to add the exhaust cover back on my shock is not connected to that just my exhaust pipe and I'm trying to change it out
What cover? If it had one, I'd keep it.
to the wheel could stop moving have someone hold the breaks or have like a belt holding the breaks
I have the same set of rear wheels w/drum brakes on my ruckus and like to know what wheel size and bolt pattern I need to get?
You'll need to match yours up or look online for Ruckus parts. I no longer have the scooter. Thanks for watching
General question before I pull off my tire I rode my 150 home went to pull in and it locked up my rear tire. 2 days later I was just moving it back n forth and it unlocked. Any suggestions?? Maybe rear wheel bearing? Or grease it?
It sounds like the gears inside the case that connect the clutch assembly to the rear wheel axle, are damaged.
What size is the nut that holds the swing arm to the rear axle ? I lost mine down the road hahaha
what size is the nut on the axle?
When you take the wheel nut off is there a spacer behind the wheel nut?
If I wanted to change to stainless where do I get the bolt kit for it?
whats the number of the offset wrench you used? 4:00
Hello. I have no idea. It's been a long time, and I sold the scooter 1 year ago. Yours may be a different size.
I need an new bracket, that black price that holds the muffler and houses the axle nut, I onow I'm super late to this, does anyone know where jcan find one?
My gy6 has a sprocket on it because it was from a quad. How do I set it up for a wheel to be mounted on it?
There are many scooter/GY6 forums online that can help you. Thanks for watching!
have play in the wheel, could it be the bushing or bearings
What tool are u use to take the tire off
How do you change the shaft that turns the rear wheel
do both bushings go between the rim and the swing arm?
One Love You needed to video each stage as you pulled it apart.
do some mopeds have one shock in the back mine does
I have no idea, every manufacturer is different.
Mostly 150cc have 2 shocks, but some manufacturers differ. Wolf brand have 2.
moped has pedals. scooter does not.
@@electronicsNmore my 2014 tao tao, has two. considered a motorbike. 2. 83 hp.
Yes my does
What's the special tool you used to take the bushing off before sliding the wheel off?
Hi there, it's a 2 jaw puller.
What size is that back bolt
What brand of tire is that & what size? I really like the tread pattern…
Kenda
can you drive without the fork plate black supporting axle on right side, gess not , axle can bend.
No, very dangerous. Thanks for watching!
i have a gy6 soccoter and i need the part that the rear shock goes on the right side any one knows ware i can find one
mortch motors, ebay, banggood, aliexpress
What if the bolt in the and the is stripped
Can you explain this my wheel is with gap
HI there, the wheel takes two spacers or bushings, the big one and a small one,i saw him remove the big one but i never saw the small, can any body tell me where the small goes?thanks
It's possible one remained in the metal plate I pulled off. Thanks for watching!
@@electronicsNmore thank you,but just to make sure,on the metal plate towards the wheel side or on the nut side?
Where do these 2 damn spacers go
I got a 50cc zene scooter from a friend he no longer has the back rim and tire its a 120/70-12 with dics brake, can you help me out please been looking over a month"
Mary Roberts Look on Ebay.
Mary Roberts
Check on eBay they are not that expensive
Kuhle thanks
Yep ebay or ali.
Hello. I was trying today to remove the swing arm. And it just would not come out. What is the name of the tool you used to remove it again?
I used a puller.
What is the size of the nuts on the rear wheels sir? The bigger one
is this 150cc? i got 49cc and my bracket on the right side is different.
Roman L. Yes, 150cc
Can this be done without a gear puller? If not how many inch puller is needed?
Possibly because it's not on the shaft very tight, but you can buy a puller very cheap at Harbor Freight. Buy one like mine.
electronicsNmore I got a cheap-o puller from Amazon thanks for the video!
electronicsNmore mine is on very tight and I don't have a puller. please help.
Also would like to know how many inch puller is needed.
Hey, i cant get the bolt removed. Its stuck, i used all my might but i cant seem to get any movement in it. What to do?
+FunkyWhiteDude
They can be a pain in the ass. You probably need someone sitting on the bike while you do it, or you will need an impact wrench.
Thanks
i tried it together with my dad, but we coulndt get it done :(
for you see, the rear brake is worn out so it doesnt work.
our wrench has a curve now ;/
FunkyWhiteDude Did you try wedging the wheel so it does not turn? If so, you will need to borrow an impact wrench.
My bushing spins with the wheel, so the right side metal that the muffler was attached to won’t come off. Help !!!
Try and find a parts diagram online for your make and model. It will be much easier to see how it comes apart.
My wheels were damaged, my wheels are 14 and these are 13, do you think they fit my scooter, I can't find my size?
Is this yamaha earox 155?
No
Brill video my back wheel made a crunching noise and my wheel locked any ideas as it's only just happened
Either a brake problem or broken gear due to a lack of gear oil. Thanks for watching! Be sure to watch my GY6 video playlist, rate thumbs up, and most importantly SHARE.
@@electronicsNmore Thank you for the reply pal I had all the oils checked out and they said that was fine so I'm hoping the break pads have just shattered inside... just a quick question what's the size of the pulley you used
is that a bahamian inspection sticker on the panel
+newbight
Yep. Eleuthera, Bahamas

Many places online. Search for your tire size
What's the size of the rench
Been a while and the bike was sold. I think around 7/8" / 32mm. Thanks for watching!
electronicsNmore thanks
What kind of mother f... engineer could possibly design this bracket to be removed with a jaw puller lol, on mine you don't need it.
btw, i noticed rear wheel has this bearing sitting inside the bracket, on mine you have 2 bushes that press from each direction and then some kind of seals and then the bearing itself. i hesitating a bit to try and remove those seals and reach the bearing alone so i can spray it and clean it before i regrease it, but i don't wanna rip those rubber seals. what do you advise?
Why was my wheel so hard to remove?
Why was the not hard to remove, or the rear wheel? Once the nut is removed, the wheel should pull forward easily.
when i try to remove mine it’s just stuck to the scooter
Once the nut has been removed, it should slide off, unless there's a retaining ring also. Try hitting the opposite side of the rim using a rubber mallet as you rotate the wheel.
What kind of tool is tht
Double offset box wrench and 2 jaw gear puller.
What size ?
