@@rebvounds3173Issue of a diaod in PCB of hdd, you need to change the exact one with the serial no then plug in run scandisk or HDD regenerator software then you are back to normal. HDD will work like a new one.
Hi I have the same hdd once which was working fine my friend having a 1tb hdd got some problem he had wd blue only but his was 1tb latest model so I thought I can swap the Mobo and reuse it but the thing was that didn't work and now my 500gb hdd is showing 2tb unallocated is there any solution 😅

No, it maybe windows issue or bios boot mode setting problem, save sata boot mode from ide to ahci or ahci to ide, still problem not solved try to boot fresh windows

Change hard drive power and sata cable and check if the problem still exists then the hard drive is problem, after this checking you can try this method maybe it will solved, but do it with your own risk

Check in bios the hdd is Detecting or not, if Detecting means install windows, if not Detecting you need to replace hard disk
