This song is a masterpiece .dark and melancholic at the same time and the instrumental part is not to be outdone, Damiano's voice is magnificent and Vic Thomas and Ethan are incredible

Basically, last year he broke up with his girlfriend, the same one Coraline was inspired by etc, they've been together for many years. Then, a few months after they released some songs, among them this one and another one- Off my face (completely different vibes, but both kinda using the same metaphors of being addicted to a person. Valentine is not being able to give her up, Off my face is trying to break free). They're both clearly like processing that end of the relationship.
