I hope when you kids and guys wake up in the morning and look into the mirror, you see a reflection of angels. You are all so talented. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You made many people wish they could perform as you do. You will remember this day the rest of your life!
Another great performance. I love how you get older musicians to come and play with your younger musicians. I know the young players are learning a lot from working with the older players. But more important, it is clear that the older musicians enjoy working the young players. Thank you for a great performance, and for showing a great way to teach young people.
Another young band blossoms - under the il grande Signor Direttore in white print shirt!! Very bright shirt. Great to see Richard again, I think I remember him in Up a Lazy River si? And Josef of course. The other gentlemen are new to me, as are many of the new young poeple. As my projects slow this month. I'll try to be more regular. Grazie mille - state tutti bene e al sicuro.
[ English ] The umpteenth genius of maestro Chamorro: mixing the youngest kids of the current SAJB with a handful of veterans, the brilliant Josep Traver on banjo and three of the historical members of the legendary band "La Locomotora Negra" (what good memories it brings me from my already very distant youth): Ricard Gili, Marc Trepap and Toni Gili. By the way, all three are amateur musicians, as incredible as it may seem: the first two architects and the last high school teacher. Pure Dixieland, happy, rhythmic and fun, played with talent and a lot of passion. Bravo. Bravo.
Such sophisticated musicianship from such young kids, particularly the young trumpeter. He looks like he can't be more than about 12. This is a pure delight.
Fantastic to see and hear these young musicians keeping the good stuff alive-thank you all, you have just made my day. For many years this has been my signature piece. Greetings from Tasmania Australia 🎼👍😁🦘
Reminds me of my High School Band Days. Unlike today we did a different half time show each Football Game. My Junior Year we did a Dixieland Them show. I was in the Jazz band group that came in front of the Band. I played Clarinet. Before band practice we always came in early and got in corner of the band room and Jammed!
These young players need to get lots of photos of the jazz pros they play beside. In 30 or 40 years, no one will believe the parade of jazz all-stars they got to perform with and learn from. lol
What a fantastic example how grownups can spoil everything for children, especially the old trumpeter, and also the tenorsax who is not able to control his reed!
These exceptional upfront young musicians are overdue for their performance in the Mardi Grass in New Orleans, Louisiana. They're quite amazingly good and ready to claim their fame.
Oh the joy in seeing these youngsters loving being part of this beautiful music. 🙂
Love it! Thank you
seeing kids playing jazz brings tears to my eyes...absolutely love these guys:)

Great veterans and new faces. The two trumpets tone, wow! Marti Costalago sound, is one of the best I´ve heard!
I want this at my funeral, so majestic and moving and happy at the same time!
Just great, especially such a talented, wide age range of people taking part

On the way to the cemetery ---- and back! Nola style.
