Not many in that area, pretty safe. Others around probably wouldn’t recommend but that’s more so because of the sharks not crocs. The crocodiles are fairly timid.

We don't have them here in northern New England, but in the Southeast and along the Gulf Coast, mangrove snapper, as we call them, are highly prized as table fare. Just curious, Chris (in Maine)
Hey bud, they are fine to eat just very average compared to the many species of reef fish that are fairly easily available to myself. Even a few other species I catch regularly in the creeks taste better so I never have a need to keep jacks with how often I fish.
