    In this video I show you how to make chickpeas Provencal, an easy recipe that is ideal to use as an accompaniment to pan-fried, baked or roasted meats.
    Preparing chickpeas provenzal is very simple, but there are two ways to make this recipe.
    The first is as I show in the video, using canned chickpeas. The characteristic of these chickpeas is that they are ready to eat, that is, they do not require cooking. We simply open the can, drain them, and we are ready to continue with the Provencal chickpeas recipe.
    The second method is a little more time consuming as it involves using dried chickpeas. These require prior hydration, so you have to let them soak in water for at least 12 hours before preparing the recipe. After that time you have to boil them in hot salted water until they are tender, the time varies depending on how long you have let them rest in the water. Then you have to cool them and now you can prepare the recipe of chickpeas Provençal style.
    As you can see, the first of the options is faster and more effective if you are in a hurry or if you did not plan this meal.

    handful of fresh parsley
    2 cloves of garlic
    olive oil
