I went today and it was quite crowded. All the pinball machines and free play arcade games were occupied. Maybe because everybody decided to go on Sunday for the Smash Bros Tournament.
I went today (Sunday). Quite the crowd for the Smash Bros Tournament! I'm glad I went. No lines to casually converse with the voice actors. It was great!
Geez, this looks so depressing, almost embarrassing. I thought it was going to be like a smaller E3 style event. Thanks for posting, I was thinking of going Sunday but if I want to but used carts, there is an amazing store on Little Tokyo.
I went Saturday and I kinda expected more to do. I'm very grateful, though, for the live band and the free arcades. I bought a 2DSxl and a psvita for about $300 for both. It's their first event so I hope they get bigger with time still glad I went.
This looks extremely underwhelming to be a convention unfortunately. Having free play arcades and guests were nice, but it really pales to ALA 20. I think if they lowered the booth prices for vendors to fill more space, it would have worked better. 70 to 100 or so vendors is not enough to even fill a quarter to main exhibit hall. I know they are really trying but does not look worth the visit to $50 a day plus the parking.
There's not much to do but shop and game. One day ticket is fine. Make sure to play as much of the games to make your time worth it. If shopping is the only thing you want to do, take your $50 to Game Dude, or Retro Respawn. Be sure to check your freeways to see if it's open due to these wildfires.

Definitely looks interesting, they should have partnered with Stern Pinball.
Thanks for the video. Saved me $60 on admission alone
I felt, it was way too spread out. Maybe if they used a smaller hall things would look more filled out.

Thanks for posting what the event looks like! I'm going Saturday for Briana White aka Aerith!

Doing the same event date as Anime Los Angeles was a bad idea. They should of done it on February 1st week or the last week of February
Would you recommend? Going on sunday

I'm going this Saturday! Gonna look into getting a vita or switch. Steam Deck under $300 is a mabey.
