Kia ora from New Zealand, liebling! I am 100% a Kate Moss style embracer (with the exception of MY LOVE for bootcut and flared jeans, RIP Caroline). I love Kate's effortlessly chic minimalist style of the little black dress with neutral coats, no logos or jewelery embelishments, the knee high boots, and this whole streamline and fluid look that she carried off so easily... I was a child (as were you) when she was at her prime, yet her 90s and early 2000's attire (personal, off runway), is still fashionable today! For me, it's not just her colour pallette and use of the hard & soft esthetic that makes her style iconic, for me it is the FIT to her body shape/type that resonates with people of all ages, as every item is tailored to her shape and frames her assets... For me she represents a style that flatters the body, always, without being bodycon or looking like a sausage... This resonates with me because I am 5'7 and an inverted triangle, with broader shoulder and narrower hips, and not much of a waist.
Great video! Imaculate taste, concise information and beautifull editing. I would love to see more on how to add statement pieces (like Kate's leopard print bag and Jane's basket bag) to a minimalist wardrobe, in order to dress it up or down, whilst maintaing it refined. Watching from Brazil! 🥰
Thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback! 🤍 You've got such a great idea about statement pieces. I love how you picked up on those specific details from Kate and Jane's wardrobes - it could definitely make for an interesting topic! And hello to Brazil! Muito obrigada! 🇧🇷✨
Taking notes! 📝 Sofia Coppola and Gwyneth Paltrow are excellent suggestions for our next style analysis. Their minimal-meets-luxury approach could be fascinating to break down with our scoring system! Thank you! ✨
Hi Bridget, I love these style icons so much, I would have loved an in-depth video for each one of them, I don't really care about ranking them, I'd rather analyse more in-depth each outfit and try to recreated more of them. I would also be interested in a video about Jane Birkin's daughters, the equally original and stylish Charlotte Gainsburg and Lou Douillon. Thank you.
Thank you for this thoughtful suggestion! Love how specific you are about wanting to dive deeper into their individual styles. And what a great idea about Charlotte and Lou - they definitely inherited that iconic Birkin style DNA while making it completely their own! Taking notes 📝✨
Thank you so much! Love that these are your favorites too! 🥰 And really interesting suggestions - especially BB and Anna Karina's French approach to style. Taking notes for potential future content! Thank you for the inspiration ✨
Love this perspective! While our style icons mastered the neutral game, there's something so powerful about rocking color with confidence. It's all about what makes YOU feel amazing! 💫
Those decades really gave us some incredible style moments! And Jane's casual cool factor is absolutely unmatched - love how she made everything look so effortless and lived-in ✨
Excellent video. I aim to be effortless. I’ve always admired Kate Moss. One thing I would say, they all have perfect figures and I feel this adds to their style immensely. Also very attractive women, it must help😊
I agree, extreme slimness helps. A few years ago Jane Birkin, who hasn't aged very well imo, put on a lot of weight, I think she was ill, and she lost that refined, chic, gamine look. Excess weight is also ageing.
Thank you for sharing that you're aiming for effortless style - that's such a beautiful goal! And while these women are naturally beautiful, what makes their style truly magical is something much more attainable: it's how they put outfits together and choose pieces that work for them. The confidence they radiate, how comfortable they feel in their clothes - you can just tell they truly love what they wear! That freedom and authenticity is what creates true effortless style. I hope that focusing on finding pieces that make YOU feel amazing will help you on your style journey. That confidence will shine through more than anything else! ✨
Analyzing fashion icons style is so Fun to watch ! ❤ But I think that there is no need to score them. I mean, they are icons, all depends on tastes and styles. Scoring them seems that there is something wrong with their style, which is not
Thank you for this thoughtful perspective! The scoring system wasn't meant to critique their iconic status - it was more about analyzing specific elements we can learn from, like versatility and practicality. You're absolutely right that style is personal and these women are undeniably iconic! Just wanted to break down what makes their style work so well ✨
So I really do appreciate this… Not a fan of all of them, but Carolyn Bissett Kennedy is probably my favorite! I’m 61! Also, the idea of quality and durability is going to be inherent in all these women because they’re wealthy. I have a different take on the whole idea of quality and durability. It is said so much by fashion UA-camrs that you’ll have this in your wardrobe for ages. You will not have a white collared shirt or anything white in your wardrobe for ages, for example.… It will wear out. I think there are some pieces in your wardrobe that you should not spend money on because you’re going to go through them whether they’re a $60 white T-shirt or a $10 white T-shirt… also many people tired of their style… I know we all have different opinions about this, but since I don’t put a ton of money into my wardrobe, but still like to look good and fashionable, I look for pieces that are the best in my price range which is not very high at all!
Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and honest perspective on quality and spending! You make such important points - especially about white basics and how certain pieces will naturally wear out regardless of price point. Your practical approach to building a stylish wardrobe is so refreshing and real. CBK's style clearly resonates with you, and I love how you've found ways to make style work for your life and budget. These style icons can inspire us while we create our own unique approach that fits our real lives. Really appreciate you sharing your personal experience with this ✨
I don't identify with anyone particularly but through their common choices: colour palette of black, white, denim, the minimalist looks, the casual chic looks...
This is such a great observation! That's exactly what makes these icons so inspiring - they created a signature style from these timeless elements that we can all incorporate. Love how you picked up on those common threads! ✨
Love this shopping mindset! It's such a smart way to stay true to your personal style while making purchasing decisions. Kate really mastered that mix of edgy and timeless pieces! ✨
I totally agree, Carolyn is my personal favourite too! And this is exactly why we included practicality in our scoring system! Real life is about finding pieces that work for YOUR lifestyle ✨
Another style element these three women have in common is their natural and low-key choice of hair and make-up. Could you imagine CBK with long, embellished acrylic nails? No. Kate Moss with perfectly styled, concrete sprayed hair? No. Jane Birkin with full-coverage make-up and fake lashes? No. Girls, keep it classy but natural and true to yourself.
Such a great observation and I couldn’t agree more! That natural, effortless approach to beauty really complements their timeless style choices. Love how you broke it down for each of them - it really shows how authenticity in every aspect creates that cohesive, genuine personal style. Perfect example of 'less is more' ✨
Interesting suggestion! If I were to analyze Carrie's style, I'd probably focus on her more timeless, minimalist moments - like her simple slip dresses and classic coat combinations. Those pieces really stand the test of time! Thanks for the inspiration ✨
Too basic style! I love my basics but with a few statement pieces sprinkled every now and then and also few quirky pieces that add personality to my outfits..I love colors as well so outfits without no colour "all the timeee" are a big no-no for me.
Love how you've found your own perfect balance! Style is so personal - while these icons mastered minimalism, the key is finding what makes YOU feel amazing. Adding statement pieces and color that speak to your personality while keeping a functional base is such a smart approach ✨
Caroline Besset Kennedy is my favorite of the three. Her clothes can be worn today beautifully.
You've got great taste! Carolyn Bessett Kennedy's timeless approach really stands out. The way she mastered minimalist pieces is truly inspiring ✨
Please could you analyse Diane Keaton. Her style is so unique
What a great suggestion! I agree that Diane‘s style is really unique. I’ll definitely keep this in mind ✨
Carolyn Bissett with an edgy twist of Birkin💃💃💃(I love the boy-ish Converse mixed with classic elegance)
Love this so much! 😍 Taking Carolyn's classic elegance and adding Jane's cool Converse vibe is such a perfect mix ✨

Love the new hair cut. Really suits you 😊
Thank you so so much! It was quite the transformation with the cut and hair colour being changed in one session ☺️✨🙈
Excellent video as always ❤
Thank you so much! Your support means a lot to me ✨
@ ❤️🤗
😊❤thanks for the great video and you look so beautiful with your new hair cut
Thank you so much for your kind words! So happy you enjoyed the video 🥰✨
You ended up cutting your hair. ❤it! ❤ur channel 😊
Thank you so so much for your kind words! I almost feel like a different person ☺️✨
I would love to see a video on Sofia Coppola and Gwyneth Paltrow!

My all tieme favorite style icons !!! Great video! Would you consider making a video of Brigitte Bardot and Anna Karina and Ixabella Adjani?
Thank you so much! Love that these are your favorites too! 🥰 And really interesting suggestions - especially BB and Anna Karina's French approach to style. Taking notes for potential future content! Thank you for the inspiration ✨
Timeless and neutral are beautiful, in theory (on someone else), but I adore colour! 💛🧡🩷
Love this perspective! While our style icons mastered the neutral game, there's something so powerful about rocking color with confidence. It's all about what makes YOU feel amazing! 💫
70’s and 90’s are the best in my opinion. Casual cool . I ❤ all of them but mostly Jane .
Those decades really gave us some incredible style moments! And Jane's casual cool factor is absolutely unmatched - love how she made everything look so effortless and lived-in ✨

CBK had the OG capsule wardrobe
Yes! CBK really pioneered that minimalist capsule wardrobe concept - and she did it so effortlessly! ✨
Always Kate Moss. Me, before buying anything I always ask myself- ,,would Kate Moss wear that? ''
Love this shopping mindset! It's such a smart way to stay true to your personal style while making purchasing decisions. Kate really mastered that mix of edgy and timeless pieces! ✨
I love them all, but I see me mostly in Carolyn because I cannot go with a slip dress to work. It is not so practical…
I totally agree, Carolyn is my personal favourite too!

Carrie Bradshaw☺
Super trashy style.
