EXCELLENT THANKS. Duo Trav. I do not have the box so I need to find out more about it, is what I have been on for 5 years or so. You reference one, starting with z. Zioptan, Preservative free. Travatan Z it disappears. Teal cap color is useful info.
I want to know if the drops should be switched out now and then in case they stop working as well as they should. I need to know which kind of tears meds to use, I assume preservative free. I will check for more info. Keep on. We need this info, we do not get much from some clinics.

Thank you for your comments. This feedback helps me determine what to discuss in the future. In general, whether with glaucoma medications or with over the counter (OTC), my preference is to use preservative-free formulations. They do tend to be more expensive than the preserved versions, but they are gentler to the eye.

Recently had cataract surgery along with Hydrus MiGs inserted into my eyes and am currently using latanoprost and I found your video very helpful.
Before surgery my eyes were around 24/25 pressure and now they were around 14/15.
They’re going to be doing more measurements when I go in for the next follow up and I’m waiting to see if latanoprost has the eye pressure under control. I don’t have any damage from the glaucoma yet as it was caught early, but the doctor’s optometrist told me they wanted to see my pressure yet lower and I thought the pressure seemed fine right now because it’s within normal range of 11-22. Found her comment a bit confusing.
I also had toric lenses inserted into my eyes to correct moderate astigmatism and pretty severe nearsightedness during the same surgeries that were one week apart on January 24 and February 1.

Thanks doctor! Just wondering what class Vyzulta falls under and if you feel this is an appropriate drug as the prostaglandin analogs? Thanks again!

Vyzulta is what I consider to be a “prostaglandin plus”. Essentially it is a prostaglandin analog which releases a nitric oxide molecule. I’m currently finalizing a video on this newer class and hope to post it by the end of the month.

@@DrDavidDRichardsonMDSanMarino thanks sir I can understand but my question was as it is if there is any treatment or cure for OSD with this benzilkodium effected as per my doctors your Oct fundus every thing normal but bcz of aggressive treatment early on which you don't neeed it and you were not glaucoma only you are suspect with elevated pressure

Treatment for dry eye disease depends on the underlying condition of the eye (tear film insufficiency, eyelid disease such as meibomian gland dysfunction, lid position abnormalities, daily activities, etc.). As stated earlier this is not a question to which I can provide a short and simple answer without information obtained from an in-person exam. I am sorry I cannot be off more help to you in this regard.
