I can't vouch for emissions testing as Colorado does not require it. I also don't believe I have read anyone has issues with emissions but do your own research. As for any issues... zero. I would do it again and even pay double if I had to.
Guessing you have a manual transmission? There is not a larger cup holder for that position, that I know of. If I can find one, I'll let you know. Greg the Editor

What about the cup holder behind the gear selector? My 2023 console doesn't have a cup holder in front of the gear selector.
Guessing you have a manual transmission? There is not a larger cup holder for that position, that I know of. If I can find one, I'll let you know.

Yes it is a manual. I'm using a different cup that fits the stock holder.
