I'm glad they're making it Diablo-esque. I always liked how Rifts and bounties work in Diablo, and you even get "random" loot with the upgrade chances.
+shiftersofwar WoW has always been great at taking ideas that work from other titles and making them its own. World Quests so far are pretty damned fun! And very in keeping with WoW. :)
Reallly excited about this Hope they keep these difficult. Really want completing the "EPIC" quests to feel exciting.Really a lot of potential to go around with some of your buddies and do these, I just hope theres a legitimate challenge.
I like the thought of having extra quests to do at end game. Waiting around for dungeons and raids can be so long and boring. It would be nice to be out in the world exploring and learning more of the side stories, instead of being stuck in the garrison all day.
Questing system appears to be a huge improvement. One thing about repeatable content is that the more content you have, it takes exponentially longer to burn out. If you do the same quest every day you'll get tired after like 4 days, but if you have 2 different quests you alternate between, it might take a couple weeks before they get old, because at least it's something different every day. The amount of content they have and how often you have access to it will determine a lot of the longevity of end-game solo content.
Very cool. My heart stopped when the first thing you moused over was just another blue bar to fill, but I'm completely fine with that just being one of the options rather than the only one.
I like the look of this, however I did watch mostly for the reputations and I was curious about a few things: From what IS there (realizing things aren't complete) 1) how varied is the activities for the reputation grinds themselves (IE what am I doing to get favor with the group)? 2) what context is available for why I am helping this group, how the actions I am doing benefit the group, and should my character WANT to help this group? (I am looking at you Saberstalkers in Tanaan, and to a degree Order of the Awakening)
Looks interesting but the actual question is: How long until we get bored?. Hope they don't leave us alone with only "end-game" content for 3 months or more until new material comes.
I just dislike the fact that there are rewards for the followers... Fuck garrisons! I want to get rewards for myself and not rewards that promote playing the boring drag and drop mini-game at the "class order hall". Oh wow an awesome and rare quest that drops a..... follower equipment......
+Shredded Cheese No shit, but class order halls and champions are pretty much the same thing as garrisons and followers. Just because it is a new area and new name doesn't mean it isn't the same mechanics... There are other features to order halls that I don't dislike (the questing YOU get to do and the general idea of a place for your class to be) so I didn't want to say fuck the entire order hall system... just fuck the stuff that is similar to the garrison system in WoD.
Had a group with very experienced raiders last night and the group quests are anything but faceroll. Very promising and I hope they'll apply this concept to the old world eventually!
So so so excited about this system. WoD's end game questing system would only bind you to a certain region in the world. I like the idea of going here and there to complete those rewarding quests. + I can't wait for Suramar's content!!! PS. Your video covered everything very well. Good job!
How many Rep factions is it that is comming to Legion? in this video your showing us it's 2 factions, whould be nice if there was any info regarding how many new factions it will be that you can grind for Mounts/Gear and god knows what :P
+MrRanderas its nice to see blizzard learning from some of their mistakes. It was just like scenarios in mist, ya cool concept but was pretty garbage, until they learned to implement it into the world so it was organic rather then just being pointless instanced content.
Okay, THIS is really good! This makes Legion look much better, especially after that mess with the stupid garrison style missions in the class order halls. This makes up for the lack of daily quests as of late, and will be a great way to get players into the world.
Hopefully this system carries across to the other areas not just the new Zones, would be a good way to make us revisit areas that now barely get any players questing in.
@Bellulargaming Something I thought about when you said the skull icon was for a dungeon, do you think it would be better for the server community if only these specific dungeons (the ones you get assigned a world quest to) should only be completeable by a realm group? It would promote community interaction again, like what I've heard was the main thing people loved in that recently sacked Vanilla private. You already have the option to do the dungeon as a faceless DPS, Tank or Healer, making the world quest assigned dungeon quests only completeable in a group of five from at least the same battlegroup(that's the server link right?) would bring back some of that community feeling, your start remembering people's names again. Because if you've grouped with Willy the Warrior before and know its not his gear he just sucks as a tank and you join a group who has Willy tanking you'll see that and leave, OR if Willy was some unkillable Healer friendly save all the DPS lives kinda Tank you'd be stoked to group with him again and you'd have made a friend(hopefully) that you can continue playing with throughout the expansion, not just your guildies you raid with.
This system looks great but i agree with you that we need some traditional mop style dailies to go along with it for the narrative. I really liked how the mop reputations rewarded you with some more story quests whenever you reached a certain reputation level. Narrative is what wod was really lacking and i hope legion brings it back.
This would make the game great again -> after you leveled up, you need to do world-quests and dungeons in order to get blue items. Once you have reached full blue gear, they should lower droprate of blue items. This should take 1-2 days of playedtime atleast! This will make you to have just enough gear to do normal raid content. And you will need to do some kind of attunement for raids. The subscribernumber would have gone higher than efter :)
+sean ashkan You know that this world quests can easily share faith with WoD heroic dungeons, evryone doing them for couple of days and then jump in LFR and make it obsolete and we come back to WoD "there is nothing to do apart raiding" state. Im not buying it :/
It is impossible to enjoy heriocs and worldcontent when LFR drops better gear. Nobody likes LFR and it is so fustrating that they have not yet removed LFR from the game... It ruins the game for so many people, so why wont they fix it? Atleast lower the gear quality to match the HC gear. Blizz should make epic items become EPIC to wear again
+Nitin Shekhar So because we get world drop legendarys, does that make epics become epic again? No logic at all dude. You're probably a new player and a WoD fanboy, and yes while WoD has some good content, you will never know what I'm talking about cuz you have never experienced it!
Daniel Kováč Oooooooooh! Sorry for misunderstanding. The 25 q limit is still în place as far as I know, however in the video i noticed those quests being placed în a separate "world quests" log which I imagine has its own separate limit.
This is the video I've been personally waiting for. I've enjoyed all the content I've seen from most youtubers so far but all of it is the up front look like what we got during WoD beta. I caring much more about what blizz is planning late game now
hello I love all these changes but I have one question how can I do this content as a healer before changing gear and spec might have worked but now I have to upgrade an artifact weapon for both classes this seems very hard to do as a healer
All they need to do now is introduce super epic quests for solo. Im talking along the lines of the rogue legendary DS daggers quests or the legendary ring/cloak quests from WoD/MoP, etc. Make them extremely difficult and some of them role specific (dps/tank/heal) and some of them more about movement, avoiding NPC's and/or using extra action mechanics. I want the difficultly level to be where it will take most people 15/20+ attempts before they complete it. Perhaps even introduce a "chicken hat" mechanic after failing X amount of times, that gives struggling players a handicap (but lesser rewards).
In my opinion, the system is just daily quests with a different dress on it. Also, I don't mind them reusing some of the previous quests, but I can see Blizz using it as an excuse to not make new content.
Does not look bad, but blizz didn't have to think long about this since it's exactly d3 mechanic :/ World bosses and pvp zones are nice to bring community together. And just as Bellular said, it should not end only on these quests, they will get boring after a month. Same as in d3, you can't do same quests for months, at least i can't. Ohh yea, I just hope they will rethink the freaking order/garrison. I feel like vomiting when i see followers and missions and resources..
sigh...its not entirely the garrison system. You send people out and they comeback with a questline such as revivung the 4 horseman or uniting the elemental lords.
I don't really like how much of this is in the UI. What is wrong with going to Krasus' Landing in Dalaran and picking up the two quests that tell you to do 4 other quests, the ngoing to that faction's hub and picking up the current quests and having a simple time limit on them that is determined by long until the quest disappears. It's the same thing, but I'm actually talking to NPC's instead of "mysteriously knowing" it. What I do like, though, is how this world content actually seems to be somewhat hard! In fact, I _really_ dig that. Sure it's not amazingly tough or anything, but it's not a pushover either. Keep that up, Blizz!
+IshayuG these quests cycle through every few hours it would get really annoying if youre currently doing dailies and then have to go back to dalaran in the middle of it just to pick up the new quests
MrRanderas The rep missions only change once a day. The missions you pick up at the rep area change more frequently, but as Bellular showed they are near the faction's hub. Also, I don't care about convenience. I care about world immersion and things making at least a lick of sense.
MrRanderas I'm not interested in discussing that with you. I am interested in discussing whether the user interface should help you navigate the world or whether it should be the content in and of itself.
They need to have a weekly quota not tied to a faction that you can just max. Something like a little lottery that changes weekly and provides a different pet, mog, or mount each week like the BMAH does.
+John Lyon You can still get reputation, resources and gold out of them. That´s basically how it was in previous expansions too. Gear from raids is always better than gear from quests.
Filip Batora True, but Raid Finder isn't really raiding though. I think they should make RF gear really shitty. Like equal to or lower ilvl than Heroic Dungeon gear. It would give people a real reason to do actual raiding too which could be nice
John Lyon Nobody would do it then. Dungeons last shorter time and if you put better equip into them, nobody would do Raid Finder more than once (to see the raid). And there are some people who just don´t have time, energy or abilities to do real raiding and by crippling LFR, you would only take something from them.
Filip Batora but that's how it should be. It would give people a reason to do normal mode which would create a healthier community. I think Raid Finder should be a place to just see the content, rather than the best place to farm gear for a non-raider
John Lyon It would give reason to do normal raids to some and it would also remove reason for LFR. Also, if LFR was used to only see content, nobody would join the qeue, therefore no LFR would ever start. Just imagine how many people are on the same quest as you during levelling and apply it to LFR. That´s what you would get, qeues lasting for hours, before enough players join. And once again, there are people who don´t have enough time to do even Normal. Why shouldn´t they suffer because you feel that LFR has to be nerfed. By the way, I did heroics and it took less effort than LFR. So why should it reward more than LFR?
this looks cool, more stuff to do in the world is allways good. also am I the only one liking the notion that they might bring back the old school rep vendors, with rares at revered and epics at exalted?
my question would be: How worth it will be to keep doing these a month or two in the expansion? I really hope they will have cosmetic rewards to keep me wanting to do them when the blue gear rewards are all replaced in the first raid tier.
I like this. It's not mind blowing or anything but it is a good start. What would be even cooler is if some Legion world quests get added to old zones in Azeroth. That would completely fit the theme of the whole world being threatened and make current use of all the other maps. I totally agree with you about narrative to. Some flushed out story content would give this system that extra layer to give the world content more meaning. Not everyone cares about that but I think it is better for the game regardless.
Do we know if we get anything from gaining rep with these factions besides cosmetic enhancements or mounts or if we even get that? We're already worried about replay ability for this xpac with limited zones but it's cool to re-use leveling content for world quests to supply a good chunk of "end-game"? If I plan on leveling alts to replay the leveling experience I certainly don't want to be doing these same exact quests at end game even if they are rotated. I do like the fact that I have to go out into the world on some of the world quests look like they'll have to be done by 5ish+ people, the big world bosses don't really count for me because we had a similar world boss system in Warlords where the was plenty incentive for the players to band together to do world bosses but it just became a shit show. Really curious to see where they take this.
+Joseph Pettinato Now imagine if they implement Legion invasions ALL over Azeroth, and when you help those areas you can gain rep from old Azeroth zones that you might not have ever done. Legion invasion in Timbermaw Hold?! Look at this rep I get for helping them out and saving their lives!! Again, the possiblities are huge, I really hope they take advantage of it. I'll wait till September if it means I can look forward to this kind of content.
as long as the rewards stay relevant this might be a good idea but i have a feeling its going to be like the daily dugeon quests pointless basically after the first time you do them
+crephotos I'm hoping that they implement worldwide mob scaling/level scaling. Now that they have the technology to do it in the Isles, then they should be able to spread that throughout all of Azeroth. Finally you can quest with friends without one shotting all mobs for them, you can explore old areas with a sense of difficulty. Most of all they can make Legion invasions ALL over Azeroth. Any zone, any area, you have to help reclaim it from the Legion. Maybe make it pvp markered like the area Bellular showed, then you have spots of world pvp all over (scaled or not, w/e). They really have the chance to make all of Azeroth important again, and I look forward to seeing what they do with it.
+katwoman873 By content, do you mean... another S.E.L.F.I.E filter? :P Blizzards ineptitude for content patches keeps the community skeptical of future expansions. Blizz are infamous for it at this point. Hopefully Legion can turn that around.
No, no. I'm referring to the ability to add new quests via this type of interface. I know that Blizz has let us down in the past. I, like you, am hoping that Legion will be different.
I have a slight bit of hope for this; but I know what's going to happen. There's going to be like, 10 repeating radiant quests that slightly vary in location, and they'll get old as soon as you do them all a couple times. They better add more as time goes along, and hopefully class/race/faction-specific quests that are tailored per class/race/faction in both gameplay and story to make each character's endgame different enough to warrant doing them on other characters. Also, this better include the entire world eventually. I just think that it'd be fun to explore the entire world again. Maybe, they could dump flying--somehow--to make it cooler. Imagine a newer player in the Burning Steppes running into a level 110 warrior with two giant fel-fire swords and sick-ass raid gear on a fel drake. It would, in my opinion, make them say "Wow, I want to be as cool-looking as that guy!" This could be the thing that helps bring back WoW community, but I'm sure they'll fuck it up; such is par for the course.
+AngerIssuez "class/race/faction-specific quests" cmon here u are talking about blizzard, they have zero ideas how to add anything new. They take ideas from each of their games nowadays.
No. But killing a player should give you a SLIGHTLY larger increase towards completion of whatever quest you are doing in that PvP area. There needs to be reason to kill the other players besides just enjoying PvP because otherwise the PvP players will stick to pvp zones and BGs. just giving some increased honor for the kill in addition to completion towards the quest will drive all types of PvP players out into the world and into these areas, but there has to be a reason to go. I also think they should make the PvP quests "world" category, as in they should be able to apply to EVERY zone, so if you have 3 PvP quests and only need 3 more quests for X zone you can do the world style PvP that really doesn't exist anymore in gsme WHILE completing a beneficial quests.
so the mrgl mrgl part is basically a small optional Ashran? seems kinda good tbh, giving some small pvp progressions instead of shoving it in everyone's face who wants to start pvp. also no queue's :)
sad part about this is....it could work with the garrison table by having your companions unlock these quests and the content BUT I can understand why The wow community doesn't want Garrison tables in legion and yes I know they are in alpha but Blizzard hasn't figured out what to do with it so allmi can do is wait and see or hope to get in on the alpha or beta. (enjoy your videos hope you will get more fans etc)
+xxJOHNLIKESPIExx Sort of, however it is stated that they aren't daily, some of them will rotate every few hours, some will stick around for multiple days. Some are PvP, some are PvE, and according to a dev, there are currently over 300 of these. But yeah, they're basically dailies done abit differently.
+xxJOHNLIKESPIExx dailies are "daily" and always the same. These quest rotate, some stay for hours others stay for days etc.. and they're all different
Wow Jedi They're a hell lot better than those in WOD, the issue is though that their were way too many of them, and it kinda left a bad taste in peoples mouths. WOD follows suit but frankly I find it much worse.
I think I am alone on this but I did really enjoy the 3 player story dungeons they had in MoP just wish they had the ability to increase the difficulty and or every now and then throw in more story to expand on it.
3 days ago I said "I bet these world quest things are just more filled the bar bullshit." I have to give blizzard credit though. They did kind of surprise me by doing exactly what I thought they would.
What's the fucking difference if it's a bar, or it counts up the number of mobs you killed? It's just a display of your progress that's different, cry me a river.
I just thought of something if we can transmog the artifact weapons and we can get all the artifact weps for your coass like shaman whos to say i coudnt transmog my fist of raden into doomhammer??
If you thought finding 25 garrison resources in a treasure chest was annoying, now you can do two quests and get 900 resources... A part from that, it looks great
+Bloodstar123 the reason for the first squish was because wow cant handle those high numbers, that's why garrosh back in mop had to have some backup health or something like that. i would've loved it if they did another squish in legion, but maybe after legion
I like how its coming along
+ConCon likewise!
+ConCon I have to agree, I do like the way they are doing this better then jumping around your city for hours wondering what you want to do next.
+ConCon i realy dont see the difrence... seems to me like the apex-objects in WoD.
i bet people will get tire of this objects to, might take a litle longer if there realy are more of them (to early to tell) but even if there are 3 times more objects to do you will start repiting them and get tire of them to.
blizz has gone out new stuff to bring to the game :(
+ConCon yep thats a turn in the right direction ^^
+Giovanny Silva The point is thats it´s not only those objectives but normal quests aswell and that way there will be much more difference in expierence. +Rune Eik Rosendahl Diablo isnt boring it targets a completely different audience than Warcraft...
World of Diablo.
+shiftersofwar WoW has always been great at taking ideas that work from other titles and making them its own. World Quests so far are pretty damned fun! And very in keeping with WoW. :)
+shiftersofwar Diablocraft
+shiftersofwar hahahahahahahaha
+shiftersofwar it isnt bad at all i like this so far but i hope the world quests wouldnt take so long like in wod
+shiftersofwar I gladly welcome it, cuz Diablo is my jam.
Anyone else get a slight tickle in your stomach when you see characters jump from high heights?
I do! I thought i was the only one.
+Chris Doffer LOL i thought i was the only one hahah
+Chris Doffer Always, especially as a paladin right before you hit bubble.
+Chris Doffer no...safe fall :) Whenever I play a toon other than a rogue I forget I don't have it and fall to my death
ALWAYS!, especially when i do the jumping :-D
Reallly excited about this
Hope they keep these difficult. Really want completing the "EPIC" quests to feel exciting.Really a lot of potential to go around with some of your buddies and do these, I just hope theres a legitimate challenge.
You have entered a free for all PvP area!
I like the thought of having extra quests to do at end game. Waiting around for dungeons and raids can be so long and boring. It would be nice to be out in the world exploring and learning more of the side stories, instead of being stuck in the garrison all day.
Wow, he actually died during questing at max level. I haven't seen that since TBC lol
Is it just me thats excited that he died? Aha
+Mayron's Hideout its because hes not playing a cheese hunter for once.
This type of end game content looks solid. Plenty of the things to do, group content, dungeon's, actually getting out in the world.
Very nice video! You should make one showing the ultra graphics in Legion, and the landscapes XD
this looks very good :D a lot of content for endgame when your not a raider
"free for all PvP area"
Oh boy, ganking the living shit out my faction soon
+Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus Augustus Just like the Timeless isle? Count me in ;)
+Jason F. Let's just hope they dont wreck wpvp with another fucking ring....

@ 6:40 South Seas expac confirmed, boat mounts confirmed
have you found out how dungeon loot works yet? is it in the wod style or did they go back to having specific lot tables per boss?
I like the look of this, however I did watch mostly for the reputations and I was curious about a few things:
From what IS there (realizing things aren't complete) 1) how varied is the activities for the reputation grinds themselves (IE what am I doing to get favor with the group)? 2) what context is available for why I am helping this group, how the actions I am doing benefit the group, and should my character WANT to help this group? Your recent videos are really quiet.
Wow Jedi Yes, it is. By the way here's a pic of him when I told him that HFC will last for 12+ months. i.imgur.com/1mE3bqz.png
Any news of increasing the active quest limit of your quest log beyond 25? Or at least a better way of managing quests you have picked up/started.
Bellular, factions have stories like mop's factions or just a bar to fill, similar to wod?
Looks interesting but the actual question is: How long until we get bored?. Hope they don't leave us alone with only "end-game" content for 3 months or more until new material comes.
+Ithilween Shadowsong It's part of being human to become bored with things. We as a species need some form of constant entertainment.
By looking at Bellular and Az I would say 1 month. They got bored faster than in WoD Beta this time.
I just dislike the fact that there are rewards for the followers... Fuck garrisons! I want to get rewards for myself and not rewards that promote playing the boring drag and drop mini-game at the "class order hall". Oh wow an awesome and rare quest that drops a..... follower equipment......
Agreed
+Luttz It isn't a garrison. Do a little bit of research, yeah?
+Shredded Cheese No shit, but class order halls and champions are pretty much the same thing as garrisons and followers. Just because it is a new area and new name doesn't mean it isn't the same mechanics...

+ttfafboomer this guy get it. :( RIP WoW
Had a group with very experienced raiders last night and the group quests are anything but faceroll. Very promising and I hope they'll apply this concept to the old world eventually!
What render scale are you using because it looks really low. It is in Settings / Advanced
So so so excited about this system. WoD's end game questing system would only bind you to a certain region in the world. I like the idea of going here and there to complete those rewarding quests. + I can't wait for Suramar's content!!!
PS. Your video covered everything very well. Good job!
Similar to the Heartstone daily quests that they were talking about at blizzcon, nice to see it implemented in a decent looking way
How many Rep factions is it that is comming to Legion? in this video your showing us it's 2 factions, whould be nice if there was any info regarding how many new factions it will be that you can grind for Mounts/Gear and god knows what :P
So bassically World content will be used to gain Order resources, wich will be used to do missions, wich will reward quests, wich will reward loot?
this is actualy a decent system, already shows more replayability then wod could come close to
+Cade O'Shea actually shows more replayability than most daylies in the expansions before
+MrRanderas its nice to see blizzard learning from some of their mistakes. It was just like scenarios in mist, ya cool concept but was pretty garbage, until they learned to implement it into the world so it was organic rather then just being pointless instanced content.
Really Great Stuff .Im curious is that quests are only for Broken Isles or for the rest of the world too? Great Video B.
+BatOnTheRoof only for the broken isles
So what is Suramar used for if this is our primary endgame content?
Okay, THIS is really good! This makes Legion look much better, especially after that mess with the stupid garrison style missions in the class order halls. This makes up for the lack of daily quests as of late, and will be a great way to get players into the world.
So this is Tanaan Jungle 2.0?
+Grevius Are you that cynical? This is so different it's unbelievable how you can draw the comparison.
No
+Grevius Well yea, maybe a little more diverse, but still, it might get boring quite fast done regularly.
+veluk88 like everything in every game ? if you do the same thing all over again over a longer time it gets boring ? NO WAY !
+veluk88 Its not a thing where each of these are the same dailys every day. It will be different quests, some every day, some weekly, etc.
So what you are telling me is that they are just dailies that stay in your quest log a little bit longer and work on a randomized rotation?
@BellularGaming Is it true there will be legendary world drops ?
Hopefully this system carries across to the other areas not just the new Zones, would be a good way to make us revisit areas that now barely get any players questing in.

Can the world quests be split up and done faster with friends like bounties in diablo?
This system looks great but i agree with you that we need some traditional mop style dailies to go along with it for the narrative. Is max 25 quests still a think in Legion?
25 quests per Day stopped being a thing since pandaria
I mean 25 quests in quest log at the time. You know that thing "your quest log is full" :P
I caring much more about what blizz is planning late game now
Yay!!! Old-time reputation quest rewards!!! Really liking this system.
hello I love all these changes but I have one question how can I do this content as a healer before changing gear and spec might have worked but now I have to upgrade an artifact weapon for both classes this seems very hard to do as a healer
When you handed in the artifact fragments in the PvP free for all quest it gave you like 111 honor points if you check the chat log.
King Mrghl Mrghl gave you honor..
no eastern kingdoms/ kalimdor world quest?
Did they remove the 25 quest limit? That is such an annoying limit.
This seems pretty nice.
Can someone reply, does this mean you can get doomhammer like straight away?
Please tell me there are more than two factions in Legion. And are the world quests the only way to grind rep for these factions?
+kmd subs There are more than two. You just have access to two different factions to gain reputation with per day.
+airbornerecon11 well dailys with a pretty dress are still better than regular dailys
What is death knight campaign ?
MrRanderas
The rep missions only change once a day. The missions you pick up at the rep area change more frequently, but as Bellular showed they are near the faction's hub.
Also, I don't care about convenience. I care about world immersion and things making at least a lick of sense.
IshayuG
we could discuss a lot about the logical integrity of the warcraft universe
MrRanderas
I'm not interested in discussing that with you. I am interested in discussing whether the user interface should help you navigate the world or whether it should be the content in and of itself.
IshayuG
so you think the interface is the content in this case?
They need to have a weekly quota not tied to a faction that you can just max. Something like a little lottery that changes weekly and provides a different pet, mog, or mount each week like the BMAH does.
In 12:35 when you deliver the artifact you gain honor point :), just take a look in the chat window
Hopefully when the first wing of RF comes out, these world quests won't immediately become obsolete.
The gold alone and exploration aspect will be good enough for me. There is over 300 so these arent bound to get very repetitive.
Did he ever do his giveaway?
I like this. It's not mind blowing or anything but it is a good start. What would be even cooler is if some Legion world quests get added to old zones in Azeroth. That would completely fit the theme of the whole world being threatened and make current use of all the other maps. I totally agree with you about narrative to. Some flushed out story content would give this system that extra layer to give the world content more meaning. Not everyone cares about that but I think it is better for the game regardless.
I like how everything has come so far, this looks cool. Except the garrison thing that sucks I just wait to have more info before crying.
+D gtz Lol I like how you did that
Irregardless is not a word! Even 22 jumpstreet mocked that
Do we know if we get anything from gaining rep with these factions besides cosmetic enhancements or mounts or if we even get that?
I'll wait till September if it means I can look forward to this kind of content.
these looks very neat it literately makes you explore the world fits the rpg part very well, very excited for this feature
as long as the rewards stay relevant this might be a good idea but i have a feeling its going to be like the daily dugeon quests pointless basically after the first time you do them
"i turned in these timeworn things and nothing happened", not really. you got honor for it. ta-da
They need to do something like this with some of the old zones (specifically azeroth) to keep them relevant.
+crephotos yeah, when i read "world quests" i thought it would actually involve the world
+crephotos I'm hoping that they implement worldwide mob scaling/level scaling.
This has some potential. Particularly if Blizz uses it as a means to introduce new content continually throughout the entirety of the xpac.
Finally it feels like an RPG.Finally, every class has some different roles in the story. Finally, there will be reason to play alts other than gold.
+Ali_John It's not even beta yet, don't have high hopes. I don't think that those world quests will keep you busy for the entire duration of the xpac.
had to re watch the parts where you were killing things... the combat hypnotized me o.o
It would, in my opinion, make them say "Wow, I want to be as cool-looking as that guy!"
This could be the thing that helps bring back WoW community, but I'm sure they'll fuck it up; such is par for the course.
+AngerIssuez "class/race/faction-specific quests" cmon here u are talking about blizzard, they have zero ideas how to add anything new. They take ideas from each of their games nowadays.
The free for all pvp area is where my rogue will be 24/7. YES!
Anyone notice the Death Knight campaign quest log when he's a shaman? :p
Looks like a good vehicle to get us out in the world doing stuff. I think the rewards look reasonable as well.
I like this system, however I think they should add 'Kill 2 (or 3) players' to the PvP objective because that area is PvP, right?
They are, particularly with the old world adding ones for controlling towers and obejectives
Grimok Hunter
I agree! :)
I really hope we get flying in base patch, the zone looks like a nightmare to navigate...
is legion based in dreanor like a different time line??
+Venom no...?
+Someone map looks the same as dreanors...
so the mrgl mrgl part is basically a small optional Ashran? seems kinda good tbh, giving some small pvp progressions instead of shoving it in everyone's face who wants to start pvp. also no queue's :)
sad part about this is....it could work with the garrison table by having your companions unlock these quests and the content BUT I can understand why The wow community doesn't want Garrison tables in legion and yes I know they are in alpha but Blizzard hasn't figured out what to do with it so allmi can do is wait and see or hope to get in on the alpha or beta. (enjoy your videos hope you will get more fans etc)
I think they reused some story quests for testing the system, since they probably didn't create enough unique once yet
So all this time it wasn't Holinka making bad pvp choices. It was a Naga forcing him.
know what im noticing? enemies actually hit hard and are hard to kill... this expansion looks awesome so far
How does anyone get used to these damage numbers?
where are all the abilities?
So there just daily quests dressed up to not look quite as boring as daily quests???.
+xxJOHNLIKESPIExx What's so bad about dailies? They're a great system unless they're done wrong. Like how they were done in WOD and and Mists.
+xxJOHNLIKESPIExx this comment makes me lose brain cells
4:12 Who's up for an adventure?
I actually really like this.
Those animations look pretty awesome.
Basically Rifts with standard rewards...right?
This looks good would be cool if it sent you to older zones like a demon clean up quest
I think I am alone on this but I did really enjoy the 3 player story dungeons they had in MoP just wish they had the ability to increase the difficulty and or every now and then throw in more story to expand on it.
I'm digging the combat animations.
They said that you can't
oh
If you thought finding 25 garrison resources in a treasure chest was annoying, now you can do two quests and get 900 resources...
A part from that, it looks great
This high numbers are absurd. +1000 int on a weapon? Blizz, what did you squish for?
+Bloodstar123 Squish mainly due to raid boss health+damage numbers getting crazy, not players.
+Bloodstar123 the reason for the first squish was because wow cant handle those high numbers, that's why garrosh back in mop had to have some backup health or something like that. i would've loved it if they did another squish in legion, but maybe after legion
They have already confirmed a stat squish in the next expansion.
looks quite awesome!! just hope players are not forced to do the garrison stuff on all their alts again...
