OMG! Did anyone else read between the lines in this video? Bellular just flat out confirmed that this is how we get intelligent Murlocs as a playable race! Our day has finally come! Thanks Bellular!
You are missing the part where during the Blizzard Direct interviews a dev pointed that goblins where directly related to the magic of the Dragon Soul and maybe other likewise artifacts need repair. Taliesin pointed to the Focussing Iris, but for me it points clearlty thar Xal went to the goblins to get her Dark Heart repaired after being damaged by Alleria.
So many possibilities for future story lines with these lore details, I never knew that the Goblins were experimented on by Mimiron in Northrend: There's room for a ancient goblin city in the lore, and with that, empires, lost outposts and wars that can spring up and be important again.
Will you make lore vid about each goblin cartel in the future ? could be useful for folks to help them to choose the cartel they going to ally in the next major patch.
I think it was mentioned by the Devs that the Cartel reps would be something along the lines of Wrathion/Sabellion and the Severed Threads. If you put the work in, you can be allied with all the different Goblin factions.
Goblins haven't had any major content since Cataclysm and Goblin players have been begging for Undermine for so long. Goblins are known for being miners, alchemists, and engineers, and the Alliance opposite to Goblins is Dark Iron Dwarves (not Gnomes), and we've had a Dwarf heavy patch at the start. This patch is EXACTLY what this game needs and it makes absolutely perfect sense to do this patch at this point.
I'm just wondering how Undermine is so close to Khaz Algar. Khaz Algar is pretty far away from Kezan on the world map, and the tunnel to Undermine is heading south in the southernmost part of the Ringing Deeps but Kezan is north.
There is no question that justice needs to come for Gallywix, but I am so sick of (former) Horde leaders being raid bosses. It seems this is the one place where Blizzard does not care about faction balance. At. All.
So, if kajamite is needed for goblin intelligence and they 'revert' without it for too long, but the deposit under Kezan was thought to have been destroyed since the Cataclysm, how did they not revert for the last 14 years?
@@iGizmoTech I've long loved the idea that somewhere in Kezan there's a vault of highly advanced technology locked away by ancient goblins because they anticipated that the beings they were becoming (i.e. modern goblins) were too irresponsible to use the stuff.
You telling me goblins. Who are greedy and got their knowledge from glowing rocks. Are randomly digging for ruins filled with knowledge money and power?
"...found a substance called Kajamite, and he discovered that exposure to this made mortals more intelligent." Where does this sound familiar... Doesn't Azurite have a similar effect but much stronger and immediate? Is it possible Kajamite is a derivative of Azurite?
What i had hopes for was that with the time skip and canon six years of ceasefire between the major factions, the "neutral" goblins were going broke because they gad no real affiliation. Playable Goblins in WoW were destitute and homeless types prinarily to mirror how the worgen lost wceryrhing, and partly because Blizzard thought giving the Horde all their technology would look imbalanced. But the Alliance has Gilnean and Mechagnone tech now. Its about time.
How compromised goblin society has been? I mean, if Gallywix is actually Detharoc, then the link between Xal’atath isn’t that far. Especially since I’m of the Belief that Xal’atath is actually the Orginal Havester of Wrath. The stonewrite took the previous harvester of wrath’s station, and according to the curiator, the orginal harvester of wrath is still out there. She’s just been mia for the last several epoch’s. The world soul saga is going to finish up the titans story, so wouldn’t it make sense that the Nathrazim’s plans would actually be coming to fruition? It was after all the Nathrazim who deceived Sargaras with their lies, ultimately leading him down his path for a burning crusade. If it all started with their lies, then why hasnt the story come full circle? I’m a firm believer that stories come full circle before their conclusion.
Interesting and fun lore. But i do wonder what is the proper time limit considering many of the goblins have been around since classic and havent been around this ore. Unless the playable rce brought the ore with them to expose other cartels again. But that wouldnt realy benefit the goblins so idk if that is a thing they would do as the competition for coin grows by sharing the ore.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they evolved in such a way, think about how many goblins there are around Azeroth and how long they’ve been around without Kajamite exposure 🤨🤔
Gazlowe of course was former Steamwheedle himself. Also really not a fan of the Goblins getting soft and sensitive. Everybody's getting their edges sanded off.

Mike is having a farking stroke on record, can't say "bilge" like Cumberbatch can't say "penguins"
Finally, Our 1st racial themed patch that isn't another fucking elf patch! It's been 3000 years!
I love elves but I 100% agree... This is refreshing!
Or raid a horde capital😒
To be fair the Elf raid themes are always Night Elves or Nightborne. We've not even gotten much in forever with the High/Blood/Void Elves even.

I think it levels out after a while. Currently this is 'default goblin' tier intellect. They can get smarter.
I'd guess that the reversion takes multiple generations at least, perhaps hundreds of years.
@@goldenyak629Its why they seem greedier lately. Greed = loss of intelligence, or the ability to be influenced by outside entities.
