Maaaaan the nostalgia with this one is crazy! These levels and bit-crushed songs are still engraved in my head. It's probably not a very "good" game but I still find it very charming. I always thought it was interesting that they gave Jar Jar attacks in this version but not console versions.

This game despite being universally trolled on by fans of the Lego Star Wars games is a special game to me. This and Super Mario World on the gba were the first games I ever played. The game might not hold up compared to the complete saga, but I think that with the limitations of the GBA, this game was very good. For some reason the game always had a strange feeling and a sort of emptiness to it, which made some levels (especially episode 2) feel creepy. I also think it’s interesting that the game decided to create levels that were not in the console version of the game or very different in setting. These include the Battle of Naboo, Anakin trying to find his mother, The droid factory level, Utapau, and Obi wan escape from order 66. The Anakin level in Tatooine is particularly interesting as it is the first Star Wars game to my knowledge that shows the slaughtering of the Tuskins. Overall I think this game and especially the music are very good for the GBA and is an under appreciated Lego game. More people talk about the sequel to this game but personally I have never played it.
