Victor, so you can go up to 40s and you can't? I mean the dropouts are part of the equation. So the room in the frame doesn't really matter, if you can't get the wheel mounted, right? I heard that it takes up to 38s, but does it? Are there other frames/bikes that take 40s?
Hey, so, you can go up to 40. But it comes with compromises. You then have limited movement in the dropouts so you need to find the good ratio and good chain length. 38 is ok but again a bit of compromises. 35 is perfect on the steamroller.
Yeah I have one as well, it is indeed great.
I am not sure if it was the best frame ever made, but it was my first option before I got the All-City Big Block.
My opinion is totally biased 😂
All-city big block is one hell of the frame too 👌
Pretty good for multiple types of riding and fairly reasonable in cost.
No doubt
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Should I buy one for $500 USD? Decent condition with just basic parts. Complete bike
I think that's a fair price
You can also ask on bikeforum
@@Diordanyiel I got it for $450 after all!

I've got a steamroller with 38c tyres and brakes
Convert to 650b like I did and 43mm tires fit easily!
