I’m not overly interested in texturizing my hair, but this is an interesting idea

Thanks for the information..Why do you not recommend it for fine hair?
I have fine, dry, brittle, low porosity hair that is extremely hard to get moisture into.

If your hair is brittle then dc with moisturising conditioners with heat is the answer. Messing around with other treatments is not likely to do much to help with that part. Once your porosity has improved through regular DCing then you can try baking soda.

I'm allergic to all natural deodorants. I tried them all cheap and expensive .

@@hamletoduahofficial7647try a hair clay mask (Bentonite, Rhassoul and Kaolin clay) to loosen and enhance curl pattern and to soften your hair.

Hi I just accidentally discovered that baking soda will loosen up the curl pattern that already exists ! Not give you bone straight hair . My hair is fine and of mixed porosity and it elongated my curls.
I mixed 2 tablespoons with a generous helping of tressemme conditioner and I did several rinses. I also tried it applying it and leaving for 20 mins. Again I discovered this on my hair because I was trying to rid of some dark hair color .. I doubt there would be any harm trying it once with small measurements as I mentioned.. Hope it helps someone a bit
Also I wanted to mention that if anyone tries this please deep condition thoroughly after rinsing the treatment .. u can use the same conditioner also.
I wouldn’t do this weekly either
It’s what works best for you
