AGREE!! I think it’s more a “woman thing” but we’re half the population, so why not make vehicle interior/exterior colors that appeal to women? Make them more colorful inside-instead of boring black.
I think it’s awesome that all car brands are offering what they are capable of and this trend in Nissan is an excellent comeback and hope they keep good things coming always! Now it’s our turn to choose what we as a consumer like in a car within our budget. Congratulations Nissan and the team for their beautiful work 🎉. People don’t hate on them let’s encourage them for even better things. Love the New Kicks and Murano and Patrol aka Armada. ❤
Nissan essentially started this segment that is a mid to full size two row crossover with luxury features. Key competition would be: Jeep Grand Cherokee Ford Edge Chevy Blazer Honda Passport Mazda CX-50 And to a certain extent: Subaru Outback Toyota Crown Signia/ venza Last Gen Hyundai Santa Fe before they changed to a 3 row which was a strange choice considering the Palisade exists.
To me the Murano always kinda represented that tweener segment between mainstream and 'luxury'. Like what we used to call 'personal luxury' cars like the Thunderbird. I kinda don't think the turbo 4 is the way to go for a vehicle like this, but apparently they're just phasing out that V6 altogether. I would've thought some formulation of the Frontier's 3.8 or a new V6 based on the 3.0 in the Infiniti Q50 could've been at play, but oh well.
It’s a crossover, and it had a CVT, it was never anything to have pride about in the first place. I will take a turbo 4 with a real transmission over a v6 with a CVT any day.
If the second row can't recline, this is not the SUV for me and I am mad I waited for it. One of the features I loved with my 2018 Nissan Murano, it helped out a ton since I have two young children with car seats. I am really upset with Nissan for removing this feature since all of the other Japanese Car Makers SUVs still have it!
It's about time nissan looks like it's on par with modern look and not a gen behind like before. Also no cut even better. Really considering nissan again.
Should be sales success not just exterior with nice lines, rear n front but also interior with door cards trim that matches the dash, Volvo take note especially pricing.
I saw my grandma. She's the one with the grey hair. When you look at new Asian car interiors, you see how Mercedes Benz influenced all of them since 2014.
As an owner of all three previous generations I could say that feel myself a little bit "expired". But on the other hand it looks quite cool and "ariya-sh". I almost bought Ariya, but it is smaller. This one is my size baby. Like it much. But I will miss the sound of 3.5v6
No CVT is HUGE, speaking as an owner, love my Murano, hate the whinny CVT. Love the v6 not happy they went i4 turbo. I think that will be good for most Murano buyers though. Hopefully a hybrid system can help bump up those poor performance numbers. Most people stepped up for the v6 and it's slightly better passing potential, and reliability.
What has always stood out about the Murano is how wild the exterior design was vs. the competition. The Koreans have caught up and redefined “wild design” with the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. The new Murano simply looks like a Tucson and Aryia and now just blends in. The competition also offers a hybrid in the US. Nissan needs to understand you can’t go halfway all the time.
Hello from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this sport utility vehicle at the LA auto show November 22 but the 4 cylinder engine should have more juice considering that the V6 has been withdrawn 😮 a hybrid option should be offering hopefully soon as the nissan rogue is also getting hammered by critics for not offering it
Nope, that's what Infiniti's products are for. Nissans look good at face value but they are not that luxurious and fall apart quickly when used regularly.
No CVT, but push button transmission? The car doesn't look that good from some angles, but the good thing, no CVT, lol. I wonder how long until safety regulatory bodies state any vehicle with a push button is considered less safe. Seems like the worst design choice for a transmission over a simple stalk, its why GM is switching to a stalk over push and pull buttons.
Nissan CVT has been the down fall of Nissan. Have family members and myself included has bought Nissan for years but the CVT has failed in all of them. So all of us have went to other name brands in the last five years.Glad to see moving away from the CVT!
