Mary deserves more screen time, and this new girl Jen is great. They need to be teamed up for more reviews. They have great chemistry together.

Roman, I think that you did a great job on hiring a new employee's. This is one of the best car reviews I've seen on here for awhile. Very enjoyable to watch.
Been watching TFL since it was only Roman and Nathan reviewing old Lexus in like 2012. Great to see how the channel has grown. This is a great addition to the channel. Godspeed!
Calm down guys lol She is not the first Woman TFL presenter lol I believe Sara Lacey was the first. Then Emme Hall, who is now over at Edmunds, went on to be really famous reviewer and offroad racer!!
I've been there! And it's way more beautiful when it's not freezing and covered in snow. Love the addition of the ladies to the channel. Keep up the awesome work.
Great video! Really enjoy these road trip reviews. I am so happy to see Honda is resisting the large touchscreen controls, which many companies are putting in their new models. I own a 2024 Subaru Outback and the touchscreen drives me insane! Good job TFL!
Really glad to see some new faces on the channel. Sorry they maybe didn't try "sport" mode as it may have helped a little? I hugely appreciate the comments on the adaptive cc and lane centering as those features matter far more to me than things like car seat anchors or third row comfort. Not enough reviewers mention adaptive cruise smoothness or lane centering accuracy and functionality and the capabilities vary hugely between brands. Great review, enjoyed it much.
As my buddy Dwight Schrut would say.... Question..... "who is Jen"? I've almost every video and never saw her. She is beautifully original, I had to watch every video she's in . Lol Oh, and im glad the snow is back, I like your cars snow reviews . Latest...2door Jeep w Jen.. 😊
I think the lack of power you felt is probably due to the high altitude you were driving in. Most other reviewers have commented that this car has more than enough oomph
The point where she mentioned it felt a little tired they were leaving Breckenridge heading east bound on I-70 towards the Eisenhower tunnel. That means they were driving up the Ike Gauntlet. The altitude is between 9,600 and 11,000 ft. All vehicles feel more lethargic when driving at higher altitudes. Especially under conditions like the Ike! Much closer to sea level, the Civic hybrid runs around 6.2 to 60, and the non-hybrid around 8.9. She also mentioned she likes fast cars. The Civic hybrid might be considered peppy by some drivers standards but not fast.
This is a great call, Roman. These two are a GREAT addition to the channel. More of this, less bickering between you and your son who seems to have a ton of daddy issues, and the channels will be fine.
Love it. Great review and perspective from two young ladies. I am currently considering this Civic along with the hatchback but also the Accord for my daughter in College. Leaning towards the Civic Hatchback but I can probably get a much better deal on the Accord. Dealerships don't seem to be bugging much off the Civic MSRP while the Accords don't seem to be selling as well.
There's still a place for Nathan's take on things. Plus, because the channel goes way back to just him and Roman, Nathan is the only guy who can needle Roman endlessly about things like AARP, hair plugs and yacht rock.
You didn't see any black in the paint because that is not Cyrstal Black! I'm not sure why that was on the sticker. The 0-60 is being reported to be around 6.2 seconds. I wouldn't say that is slow or tired, especially for a car that is rated for 50/47/49 MPG. How were y'all able to get 70 MPG??? Please do a followup video with a MPG loop. Great job on the video! 👍
Hopefully you finally found some solid ladies to do some reviews!!! I appreciate the old guys bringing the wisdom on how the cars make you feel to drive and communicating that and also the young guys and seeing them improve so fast and having fun. Seems like you have a good company with how long everyone sticks around!
A warning for anyone planning on buying a new Civic. There's a STOP SALE on many models because of a high-pressure fuel pump recall. I was at a local dealer buying a 25 Civic Sport on their lot and wouldn't sell it to me because of the recall. I was very disappointed.
@@calebniederhofer6529 it’s more a concern about what the reliability of the replacement part is for me. I spoke to Honda and they told me it’s a different part number.
@@FireWoodOfficial That is a good thing, so that the defective part does not be replaced with the same part. Zero reasons to be concerned. It is all covered with Honda and warranty. Recalls happen with every Manufacturer. The only manufacturer, that I stay away from is Chrysler products, BMW, luxury. Recalls are typical, especially on new powertrain or models.
@@calebniederhofer6529 gotcha; however this isn’t just a recalled window switch or something minor, this is a HPFP that when defective can cause a fire condition to arise. I’m personally not interested in the potential extra risk on top of the standard risk that comes with driving any car. Imma wait and see how the replacement part holds up and maybe reconsider in a couple years
8:55 I never understood how automakers continued to get by getting rid of physical buttons & added screens when we have a problem with people being on their phones while driving
Still no one has answered this question. When the battery goes bad...what is it like on the repair? Is it replace the whole battery or in pieces like Toyota? How much does it cost?
70.6 MPG! And that's in a car that can do 0-60 in the low 6's. By comparison, the iconic hot hatch VW GTI does 0-60 in the high 5's but uses twice as much gas as the Civic. Good job Honda!
Strange question: why do they have a "Hyrbrid" emblem on the steering column directly below the wiper stalk? The driver cannot see it. So it would be for the front passenger to see. But I don't understand why it was so important for the front passenger to know it is a hybrid car. Odd. Everything else about the car looks very nice, although I would prefer an interior which is lighter or which even had some color to it.
The things you said about safety and such describes volvo not honda civic. I would go ahead and buy an 2016 volvo s60 instead of this. It has speed limiter, it is safe, luxurious, reliable, and etc. You can also get one with less than 100k miles around $10k-$15k
These additions will take the channel to the next level! You've got older men, younger men, and now females. Differing perspectives.
Bro really put, “men”, “men” and then “females” instead of “women” 😂
Thanks! We try to keep things interesting around here.
They picked the correct new employees
agreed

Remember when TFL kept asking cars to navigate to Snarfs.
Love the different perspectives from the Leaf video with Mary and now this video. Appreciate all the work that TFL puts in.
Awesome video great addition to the team she's a natural! Excited on what's to come TFL
Glad you liked the video. Thanks for the kind words!
Any meal tastes better when it's being expensed to the company.
True that
All they need to do is include any part of it in a video and it's tax deductible too! A few perks of the trade
Seems like great chemistry between Jen and Mary, hope to see more of them.

OMG girls!…I’m scared
OMG, great video. Wonderful to get another perspective. Mary's smile is so infectious!!
Okay, this could legitimately be revolutionary for TFL. These girls are fantastic!
Fantastic? Both of them couldn't find out the exterior color which is Urban Gray Pearl.
@@jsz2619 Thanks for the comment, Spergington McSpergersville.

Great to see the team expanding and offering additional thoughts and review perspectives.
*Bechdel test failed within first 2 mins :)
Love the new addition to tfl.
Nice to meet the ladies on the crew. Good job on the first review.
3:56 The color is Urban Gray Pearl. Nice to see some new personnel on the channel!
I think your new hires are great additions and will add new perspectives and will help to grow the channel. Great personalities.
Great new addition to the team, welcome! You guys are always changing things up and adding new styles of videos to keep it interesting…LOVE IT!

Because we are creeps! Welcome to the team! Haha

I already own the Hybrid Sport. It’s great! I got into this video because of their vibe. Loved it!

1:39 ...and so it begins! 🤣
We appreciate your feedback, thanks for watching.
This is a weird comment bro lol
WTF?
When in any video do they fight?
Good luck ladies. I hope you find a audience.
Awesome lil road trip and review! Do more of these
Nice addition to the team. You earned a new subscriber.
We’re glad to have you!
Excellent review ladies!! Appreciate the honesty and being thorough😊 and that crepe looked pretty 😋. Looking forward to more reviews like this 😊
You forgot to mention NO A/C vents in the back seats or phone chargers. Nice Honda I like the hatchback in the same color.
You're right touchscreens need buttons '!
Welcome Jen! You’re gonna be awesome - like the next Emme Hall
NEEDS MORE JAN! happy to see some fresh blood in the mix.

Welcome to TFL! What a great video of the car and Colorado!! Does the '25 Civic Hybrid ST have Sirius XM satellite radio?
Wow , you don’t even take her to lunch!? Classy, Roman
6:00 it was at this point Mary realized "Oh wow... this chick REALLY is into cars 🙄" as you can tell Mary, is really not.
I hope to see a lot more of these ladies; they bring a different perspective.
I really enjoy this review, Jen did a great work!
The acceleration is great especially with the 200 horse power combined. Smooth ride and comfortable
Great video and review. Missed talking about that it's a Hybrid and that's why the engine peaked out on RPM. Over all great video.
Great job ladies! Hope to see another from y'all soon.
Glad you enjoyed it, we do love crepes!
Refreshing review. Look forward to more. Great hires!
Keep these two together
👍
The girls crushed this video. So much more positive than a Nathan review. Description of the HAPTIC feel is spot on. Quality in this car.
I love Nathan
There's still a place for Nathan's take on things. Plus, because the channel goes way back to just him and Roman, Nathan is the only guy who can needle Roman endlessly about things like AARP, hair plugs and yacht rock.
Define crushed. 😢
@@MuniTechnology They did a great job. I like Nathan too but sometimes he is just negative about things too much,
@fscottgray9784 They got the color of the car wrong while they were staring at it. I liked the cinematography, but the review was really poor.
I remember Andre’s first car review, but now he’s very much entertaining. He does great. This is quite entertaining as well, great content.
Great video
Nice review. Wish you and the channel well.
Great work TFL team!! 👍
These 2 are great. I feel this car would be better without the odd low profile tires 5:00 she made a great point to add to that
that Tatraplan on the wall 10/10
You forgot to show and play with the drive modes
Yes buttons. Buttons are so much safer. They allow you to keep you eyes on the road.
This is a surprise! Good job on the review. TFL just keeps getting better!

It’s odd how Honda has “hybrid” just randomly on the steering column
Nice video
You both did a great job! That Civic's color is Urban Grey Pearl. Crystal Black Pearl very black.
Nice review!
Not once was road noise mentioned. And it was loud.
I think Honda gave you the wrong monroney label. This is Sonic Gray Pearl
It’s actually Urban Gray Pearl.
Alright go Maria, give us your reviews, awsome.

70 miles a gallon is crazy
Damn the Civic Hybrid has that struggling problem too? My CR-V Hybrid does & i was able to get a lemon lawsuit off of that 😅
The ladies are great!!!
I enjoy the amateur review.
The Nissan leaf was good too.
Still love my Staples at tfl.
Ike!
Don't forget the 2.0 is non-turbo and you are in the mountains. Probably peppier at lower altitudes.
Well done. Welcome.
Nice video!

Sorry Gals, that is not a crystal black Civic, it’s an Urban Grey. Other than that, great review.😎
They have great chemistry! Loved the video
I’m a huge/big fan of Jenn ;)
BTW, is that 70 MPG or even 50+ MPG real? Maybe TFL should do a Denver 100 for this car?
@@is6566 My 5 yr old Camry gets 50mpg under the right circumstances so ya it's real but I 100% support your idea for a Denver 100 run.
70mpg *going down hill*
A sophisticated mature vehicle!
8:55 I never understood how automakers continued to get by getting rid of physical buttons & added screens when we have a problem with people being on their phones while driving
I70 is a mess here in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. I had a 2 hour delay crazy nuts .
I can't wait for manufacturers to realize that people hate having ALL the controls on some page in a touch screen. Bring back buttons and knobs!
That color is not Crystal Black.... it is Urban Gray Pearl. I have this exact color on my 2025 Civic Sport.
I wouldn't call the civic hybrid slow, considering its faster than SI.
Quicker*
The audio from the in-car camera needs improvement. It was bad in the Leaf review too.
Well done! Welcome aboard!!
i love a good clicky button. jen has a very good attention to detail. theres a sweet braut place there too. god bless

I made it 3 minutes in…that was enough.
Subaru take notes on the buttons for the hvac!!!
This CIvic Hybrid is actually FASTER than the Civic Si in acceleration.
$32k is cheap? You’re insane! I paid $18 for my new 2017 civic lx hatch 6 speed with 1.5 turbo. It’s ridiculous expensive now.

Welcome Jen, great first impression! Mary isn’t new guy anymore!
See ya!
I have never heard the boys say to each other any comments about their hair 🤭
