Love it! The front end is not perfect but it’s still good. Pretty much an Ariya (which is also very good looking) but with a gas engine. Hopefully Nissan will also add a hybrid option, it would be a good alternative to the Crown Signia from Toyota.
No. Infiniti had one of the best and most unmistakable design language with liquid metal curves, so sad that the interior was old and they're moving away from beautiful design language, the back is very infiniti, the moon bridge styling they used to have
I know that one day they were going to copy Arya design into some gasoline version of their cars because it is really nice! Glad they got rid of the CVT. the VC Turbo is good but I wished if they develop some hybrid system.

Nice update of an existing model; however, it does make you think what does this give you that you can't get in a 2025 Toyota Crown Signia with it hybrid drive? Both have around 240 net horsepower but the Toyota gets a combined 38 mpg vs. 23 combined on the Murano.

THeir hybrid system was here before but it was not selling as well in the late 2010's, but a lot of things are at play here and I think its why they are pushing it to 2027 ...
I’m not a fan of capacitive steering and HAVC buttons, they are not ergonomical. They should just give us physical buttons, maybe physical wood buttons would be nice. Same thing with the Ariya and Kicks. Hopefully the Honda and Mitsubishi partnership don’t see those two brands adopting capacitive crap, in fact, I hope Honda and Mitsubishi can put physical buttons back into Nissan.

Since you are comparing Teslas to iPhones, Apple made concessions for Europe even if they didn’t want to, such as switching to USB-C and adopting RCS messaging. Another point to make is that the iPhone has gained two new buttons: Action and Camera Control, and both are physical buttons. Even though the camera control button has a capacitive layer on top, the primary functions (opening the camera and taking the photo) is done by the mechanical aspect of the button, since it will work even when pressed by a non-conductive material like plastic.

I’m glad they ditched the CVT. However, the front end is awful. It’s got Hyundai China something written all over it.! This is a fail😢 interior is nice. Front end has got to change. It’s very bulbus. Touch sensitive controls. That’s not gonna work. It needs active feedback buttons. This is not going nowhere.
I'm really triggered by that front end. Why are the lower light assemblies shorter than the upper light assemblies? They don't line up or extend to the crease they designed in. UGH.

Disappointed…. I have a 2023 Murano which is fine but old… This new one is bland on the outside and as Murano has always been style forward design wise, this new one is bland. The interior is really nice though and that’s a welcome change. I won’t buy one because they’ve switched to a turbo 4 banger but at least they got rid of the CVT. Why why Nissan have you gone nuts with all the piano black? Nobody wants all that plastic that shows all fingerprints and gets scratched like crazy. I guess I will buy a Mazda CX70 when the time comes…
Finally got rid of the CVT, only to put the seat controls in the infotainment screen. Big fail. There's a reason Kia Telluride's sell like crazy, one being that most people hate seat controls on the screen as much as they hated the track ball era. I won't buy a car configured that way. Please tell these manufacturers that the seat controls in the screen SUCKS, it's a terrible trend. Hard pass.
I don’t trust ANYTHING Nissan. Had a horrible experience owning a Murano and will never buy Nissan again. My wife’s RAV4 has 170,000 miles and we bought it brand new. The RAV4 has never been in the mechanic knock on wood.

@TinoMiller Yes it's far from boring, I would say quite wierd, in my opinion. The front end is the worst part to me. The wierd lights screams out Pontiac Aztec 2.0 and Nissan Ariya has a way better execution at futuristic looking. But as you say, looks are subjective.

I think if they moved the Nissan logo to the hood and out of the front lower grill i think it would fix the front end look about 90%. Such an odd placement choice where they have it now.
