What Modules should you upgrade first in early game? We are talking about descendant and weapon modules.

There's a whole video about Def,sorry I can't remember it. Long story short from 0-2000def is 10% DMG reductions. Every time you double your def from there on will give you another 10% so at 4k another 10% 8k another 10% 8k 16k 32k 64. This isn't a flat 10% mind you and the sweet spot to stop as it gets harder and harder to get more def is around40-50k def. Resistance isn't really worth a mod slot but it would say the Immunity to the DOT ultimate mods are very worth it. Venom immunity for example keeps you from being poisoned which will tick you for 100+ HP for a long time. So not taking 1000 DMG Everytime you get poisoned is a lot more effective than reducing the toxic DMG doing an extra 10-20 to you per hit...if that makes sense. Basically you would have to get hit by toxic Attribute attack 10-20 times for resistance to be worth it...for most players you would die before then anyway. Use immunitys in collosal fights as they will almost always apply the debuffs on you every hit you take.

@@jwill294 That's how the math works and how the guy on the video explained it. If you take 100dmg without armor then get the 10% reduction..then you only take 90,but if you double your armor you will then reduce that 90 by another 10% so 81..then you double it again bringing you to 8k def..well you can take 10% off that 81..which is 8.5. meaning you won't will never be able to take 0 damage even with 4 billion def. The math formula he used is a lot more complicated than that as there are more factors involved..like crits,weak point hits on you, element DMG. The example I did is assuming the enemy doesn't deal element DMG and doesn't crit.

@@jwill294 exponential decay. 100 -10% is 90. 90 -10% is 81. 81-10% is 72.9.

Weak Point and Fire Rate mods are also pretty good for some weapons. And more importantly Elemental Resistances are underestimated, because (at least against colosses) they are the one doing the damage reduction, when getting hit by elemental based attacks. Your DEF stat has literally 0 value on those attacks (which is super weird).

I would say level up a little but hold onto kyber to level up a grapple mod a ton.
Don’t forget our action and reaction. It can be farmed pretty early on.

I got to the very end without using hp/def or shield as I was only using purple mods instead of the blue (yes I was rocking 2-3k health and did almost every intercept battle while like that and yes it was not fun but I managed to do it all solo)
Id argue that ele defence is more useful than hp especially in the big boss fights that say bring x ele defence but hp is more of just a general thing so its not bad
Def is still more valuable than ele resists in the boss fights. Elemental resists don't reduce damage as much as you might think, and you can use the 6 cost mod to prevent the elemental debuff which is what elemental resists are useful for really. Components should cover your elemental resists needs for the most part even hard mode.
Not saying put on action and reaction with rifle reinforcement should be a crime
Which is better hp or defense? Playing with a buddy, he was either Ajax or lepic(can't remember) he took half the damage with more defense but was downed more times then me with higher health on bunny
Health seems to be very important, i don't have my mods maxed out yet but at level 100 I try to keep 25k to 30k defense total and as much health as possible after that. I've seemed to really notice a larger health pool

For early game, do not focus on def, put everything you can on HP. You will tank me later.
i have a very high def build coz i watched a yputuber build and said go for def. then i saw a comparison yesterday and he only have 2k def with very high hp and hes tanking better. HP>DEF

@Joozies is true for most heroes, but Enzo actually gets some benefit from shields, though i agree, HP and Def are far more valuable.

This thing is about this upgrades the higher the upgrade the most costly it'll be. I have no kuiper shards now. Kinda hard to find those. 😅dismantle those modules give barely any shards. ☹️
Do encrypted vaults or look up video on shards on UA-cam will bring 1 up its fast and very efficient

Do what i did and finish the story 1st. Level up as you go and focus on farming while on hard mode because you get more @@StonedTroopa
