Chris Martin just casually sitting there in the audience, having a short cameo, no text to say. What a great guy to go along with that short appearance.
So me being a huge Karate Kid/ Coldplay fan I knew of this song as soon as it came out. Being a big Mets/ Islanders fan I knew Daniel Macchio (Ralph’s son) through friends of friends who are also fans of my teams. I reached out to my friend Danielle who knows Daniel and I told her to tell him about the song. A day later she sends me back a text of Daniel Macchio saying how he thought the song was amazing and how it came as a huge surprise and he was going to show his dad. A day later Ralph posts about the song and then gets into contact with Coldplay to make a music video in Australia. I wasn’t sure if I started the chain of events but this video confirmed it thanks Jimmy!
MY JAW DROPPED after googling his age after he said he's got some years on Tyson! Had no idea he was on Broadway or could sing! He was my childhood crush because of Karate Kid, but always thought of him as a child star. He was quite old when he played Daniel-san! Still a fan!
This man is 63 years old. Doesnt look a day over 50. Glad to see him doing so well. The original Karate kid movie literally brought me to tears as a kid, huge part of my childhood
@inFAMous1013fm I notice certain characteristics others don't where you can tell a person's age. He doesn't look 60 but it's easy to tell he's past 50.
I know that this is a video about Ralph Macchio but I just want to say that every day I get more respect for Chris Martin. He seems like one of the genuinely nice and kind people.
YES!! Congrats, Ralph!! This is indeed well deserved!🥳🎉 I know, he's from a different show, but never did I wish more that Jordan Schlansky would be here for this too. He'd be like: "It's [makjo]!!!" LOL😂
Slightly surreal to realise that Ralph Macchio is now 11 YEARS OLDER than the actor who played Mr Miyagi was when The Karate Kid came out in 1984 ... Pat Morita would've been 52 at the time
Ralph's skit on "Funny or Die" before Cobra Kai was incredible - "Wax On, F Off". If you haven't seen that yet, you must. 5 mins of the funniest material.
This guy does NOT look like he's in his 60s - even his voice sounds young! I was a die-hard Karate Kid fan back in the 80s, so when Cobra Kai came out, I was nervous that the showrunners would ruin a good thing. Not so - they knocked it out of the park! It's probably one of very few shows that perfectly balances nostalgia with new material.
I was literally smiling through this whole interview. Love Ralph Macchio. I'm so glad he's having success again.
Agree
He's always seemed like such a humble and wholesome guy.
That's what they call "an American treasure". Ralph is a wonderful human being! Bless him. And a fantastic interview Mr. Kimmel 👍👍👍✌️
Chris Martin just casually sitting there in the audience, having a short cameo, no text to say. What a great guy to go along with that short appearance.
Dude literally flew to Australia to be in his video. It's the least he could do tbh 😅

Thank you 🙏 it’s truly a moving video. I love it ❤
thank you for that
Ralph Macchio play in the karate kid movies.
Very cool!!

I'm not sure if he can sing or not, but his broadway show was a play not a musical haha
Yeah, I think he was in his early twenties, maybe 21 or 22.
This man is 63 years old. Doesnt look a day over 50. Glad to see him doing so well. The original Karate kid movie literally brought me to tears as a kid, huge part of my childhood
He was 25 when he played the part of a teenager
He looks like he's in his early 50's
Not a day over 50? He looks like barely 40
He honestly looks like he could be 30-35 😂
@inFAMous1013fm I notice certain characteristics others don't where you can tell a person's age. He doesn't look 60 but it's easy to tell he's past 50.
*Congratulations karate kid on Hollywood walk of fame* 🥋
Walk of fame on. Walk of fame off
@@robertanderson2424 😅😅😅😅
Oh can't believe Chris Martin was there❤ love coldplay and their new album. And the video is great.
It was a look alike
@@jamesbomd3503nah that's chris. He lives in malibu too so he could easily pop during a kimmel show.
Such a humble and polite guy… congratulations on the star! (And he still looks like maximum 30)
He looks like he's in his early 50s
Aww… I love Ralph! One of the child actors who made it out to the other side and seems to have become a really decent guy 🩷
Karate kid one and two such greats movies. Love him.
Remember the Man Show with Women in Bikinis jumping on trampolines?

63! The man is 63!
And still the same child-like face he had back in 84
It feels like actors get older every day
Come back when your 18 sweetie… I’m 63 years old!!!! 🤣🤣
So surprising! He is still so youthful!
That’s how you look when your job is to hit the mark and say your line.
I absolutely love Ralph!!
I love Ralph. He a gem of a man.
Ralph has been in so many iconic movies! The man is an absolute legend!
You gotta love Macchio .....so spontaneous.
The original Karate Kid is one of the most iconic eighties movies. 'This school sucks man....SUCKS!'
I know that this is a video about Ralph Macchio but I just want to say that every day I get more respect for Chris Martin. He seems like one of the genuinely nice and kind people.
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR STAR😊❤
Loved him in My Cousin Vinny!
When I was a lad , karate kid , and goonies were my favorites . And I still love them both to this day . Ralph is a great guy!
Wax on, wax off. Ralph is the man!
One of my best friends (at the time) Chris English, played Tommy on the pilot episode of Eight Is Enough
Ralph is a national treasure.
Mr Miyagi would be proud
YES!! Congrats, Ralph!! This is indeed well deserved!🥳🎉 I know, he's from a different show, but never did I wish more that Jordan Schlansky would be here for this too. He'd be like: "It's [makjo]!!!" LOL😂
He was GREAT in Crossroads!

the Stevie vie guitar duel is epic
I love that movie
"The Blues Kid"!

Such a likable celebrity!
Great video and interview with Ralph Macchio!
Met Ralph at his book signing. Nice same guy
In the words the the late great Mr Myagi “Daniel son..keep doin wht you’re doin make me proud”😎
Slightly surreal to realise that Ralph Macchio is now 11 YEARS OLDER than the actor who played Mr Miyagi was when The Karate Kid came out in 1984 ... Pat Morita would've been 52 at the time
I just adore Ralph Macchio. So glad he’s still making moves and doing great work. 👏🏻👏🏻🔥
Che bello Ralph Macchio❤
Love the Coldplay video.
This man doesn't age.
What a neat guy!
My cousin Vinny . What an absolute masterpiece of comedy
This dude is the goat. I wanted to be Johnny from the Outsiders so bad.
Hard to believe this guy is 63, he barely looks 40! Clearly he found the fountain of youth!
It's really great to see such a nice guy doing well.👏
Ralph doesn't age. Still the GOAT
What a cool guy, I never knew. I've been educated. Great sense of humour, the even blew our beloved Kimmel away.
Maccio should be in a vampire franchise, he really never ages.
I was such a huge fan of the karate kid movies....so I understand all the references back to them in Cobra Kai....Ralf and William are fantastic
Ralph's skit on "Funny or Die" before Cobra Kai was incredible - "Wax On, F Off". If you haven't seen that yet, you must. 5 mins of the funniest material.
Ralph always brings a Smile to my Face, Nice Young man. And Chris is so wonderful at poking fun at himslf
Karate Kid III 1989 + 18 years ... 2007's "Sweep The Leg" .... + 18 years .. 2025 ... Frightening how quickly time is flying !
We love ralph macchio
If you told me this man was born before The Beatles were officially formed, I would have laughed in your face
This guy Never ages😊😊😊
LOL! Chris Martin is actually there!
ralph❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Always on my wall always posters lol
Loved this interview, and one thing I’d like to point out that wasn’t mentioned. Both Jimmy and Ralph were in Entourage✌️
4:32 what a beautiful moment
He’s just so great!!!! Also he looks 30
Ralph is so awesome!
What is more shocking: The fact that he is 63 now or the fact that he was 22 years old when the Karate Kid was filmed?
Love Ralph! ❤
All I'm sayin is, if Daniel-San and Johnny can Get Along...
Can't we ALL?❤?❤?
"THAT'S NOT THE MIYAGI DO WAY"
It's not his way matter. But it's his soul in the changed way matter
The first thing I thought of as he walked out on stage was that he was Jeremy on Eight Is Enough.
Ralph Macchio is 3 years older than Tim Walz 😁
Loved Macchio on PSYCH💚

These guy is the Peter-Pan…Doesn’t age 😎
He succeeded the stressed MJ may he ride the choo choo train in peace
Karate Kid was a memorable movie from the 80s.
But Cobra Kai made it legendary.
Absolutly
He is actually older than Kimmel, but looks 10 years younger than him
This guy does NOT look like he's in his 60s - even his voice sounds young!
