Wow. Jesse is a phenomenal guy. He may be quiet and shy but dang. He knows what he wants and he gets it done.
WOW! This is so great, I’ve watched all these. But this vid was super special. I have an enormous amount of respect for Jesse, even more than I already did. He’s a superstar. Looks like a dynamite team this year Clay, I am a super fan.

Dear Mr Millican, there is one major difference between this past season and all or the other seasons that came before, and you know what it is. His name is Jesse. What a keeper.
I love this series! It takes me back in time to the late 60’s early 70’s when the guys two houses away from where I grew up had a front engine rail they ran at the “local” strip. Many nights spent down there watching and learning as a kid. They were awesome in allowing and encouraging me to be there and learn.
Hey Jesse, why stop at six, shoot for the sky, win them all. You can always 'settle' for less.
Clay, I'm enjoying these 'meet the crew' videos. I was hatched and raised in Pontiac, so it almost like Jesse is a 'home town boy' to me. I'm over 70 but I have always enjoyed the quarter mile racing, whether it is 'pure stock' to what you race with the nitro, I love the smell and the feel of those eight cylinders thumping on my chest from the stands.
Jesse sure got a difficult test as car chief in this first year at the position.
There's not much as intense as the weekly complete car changes. I was very impressed by how Mister Snyder handled that effort. Thanks again Clay, Best Wishes to everyone at Rick Ware Racing..... What a fantastic picture that thumbnail is, Last Wally ever at Bandimere, my home track..
Jesse is the epitome of the American dream come true. At 14 years old, he knew what he wanted to do in life and thanks to Mrs. O, he got that chance and has proven to everyone that he has what it takes to earn the title of being your Car Chief. Thanks for another great video, Clay. No other TF team does what you do and a special thanks to Rick Ware for keeping the dream alive for everyone on the Part Plus Top Fuel dragster's team. Meeting with Jesse brought a lot of life to meeting the entire team that works on the Top Fuel Dragster. He is the go to guy that at times has to make a split decision on what to do to get the car down the track successfully. That job takes a lot of dedication and know how. Hats off to you Jesse. Now let's go get those wins predicted for this year.

The anxiety and rush of “ok here we go” when you light the motor. Be it priming it or running the starter and the ground wire. Gives me goosebumps every time.
And as stressful as they are the mad thrash to get to the next round. What a feeling when you nail it

One of the things I really liked about this interview is how fortunate Jesse was the be where he is now (which is awesome)!! I also love how members from other teams will step in to help when things get tough. I I also agree that team Millican can win more than 5 races this year. I remember how crazy into nitro drag racing I was as a teenager and had a very brief opportunity to get into nitro drag racing doing anything through a friend but it didn't turn out. Thanks for this interview Clay and Jesse!

Hiring managers / recruiters / HR people in non racing industries need to watch this vid and realize that a person can be driven, intelligent and successful in their field WITHOUT a 4 year degree. Too many only look to see if someone drank their way through school and have a piece of paper rather than actual ability.

Very much enjoying this whole series, great insight to how impressive this team is! & also great to see another "Michigan boy dun good!", lol. Tho I'm from the west side of the mitten (any closer I'd be swimming toward Wisconsin, lol!). This series is quite gratifying, to see youth (lol) that have chosen to follow dreams & have been working so hard to attain those goals! For the benefit of everyone involved, not just themselves. Certainly looking forward to the coming season, lots of "SOTLP", & win lights throughout! Thanx !
