My guess is she will have a pretty high learning curve for a bit with the transition to Indy cars and a new team. So my guess is as capable as she is the UA-cam thing may have to wait a bit.

Sad to see KayLynn leave, I really would have loved to see her mentored by Jim O. Imagine with all the amazing lady’s, past and present, in drag racing, crew chief KayLynn! I for one was hoping for her career path to go in that direction! Oh well, I wish her nothing but the best and KayLynn, start a tube channel!
While I am excited for Kaylynn , I'm also heartbroken because she was such an integral part of this fantastic team/family and she is so good at doing the clutch and gets along so well with everyone plus she's just lovable and cute as a button and so sweet, can't help but love her. It's hard to split up a crew as close as you all are, I worked with the same group of guys for almost 20 years and we pretty much knew what the others were thinking and really didn't even have to verbally communicate to get things done. And we wasn't just around each other at work, we spent time off together as well. It's hard to imagine that two other guys and myself are the only ones still living from the original "good time gang" and all that's left is a bunch of good and bad memories!
I now have a broken hart don't go clutch girl. GO Clutch GIRL !!!!!

Dear Mr. Millican , I love it when Kaylynn gets called Bruce and all of us Millifans are going to miss Bruce. Watching From a distance, she went from a sometimes self doubter… To a three time NHRA winner, and we got to see it all happen. it is no surprise. She is getting snatched up and it is surprising that you have any team left at all! Those are good problems to have.

One of The Most Stessfull parts of being A Clutch Guy is >>> Doing Last Minute Cluttch Adjustments in the Staging Lanes right before The Car makes A Pass.. Changing Nuts or Washers to Adjust A Change on The Hat of the clutch also known as the Pressure Plate for The Normal Car Guy.

Hey, Clay...man! (wanted the ryhme ta work! lol!) Well, looks like everything is on schedule for yous guys. You look good (as always) The chaos is doin' pretty good too...got my diabetic sugars levels "dialed in" pretty consistently (turns out I was just runnin' the "fuel" too rich) and kept fouling my "spark plugs"...hadda tighten my timing chain too (was 3/4", so I tightened it to 1/2") and checked my sugar levels again and they were "runnin' the numbers!" I like using drag race lingo because We were a Drag Racing Family too!
I'm putting some time trying to satisfy my Drag Racing Oddity Questions which I have been searching and digging for years on this one that I might have to get in touch with _Bob Frey!!_ but anyways what I'm working on now is: *What & Who was the last F.E.D. to **_QUALIFY_** at a national event? AND Who was the last F.E.D. ever to just **_ENTER_** a National event and not even qualify?*
(Not win, cause that was Art Marshall in '72 @ Le Molson GrandNationals where he beat Jeb Allen...that was only the 2nd annual GrandNational event!) Note. Back when I was reseaching about the last F.E.D. to _WIN_ a national event, the internet was _not_ nearly as helpful as it is now and I found my answer going thru my Pop's National Dragster! I have the issue with Art on the front page! (I loved it more when it was like a newspaper)

@ClayMillican25 I know you may not care but communication after each round as to what happened on each run can actually help each person possibly identify trends or problems or results from things they notice during teardown before or after a run. You really should share what happened with everyone on the team. Communication is so important.

Clay , At end of video car is in background , I see a round pipe the runs from front to back inside chassis. Is that part of structure or is that a giant Fuel line ?

Kaylynn is a lot of talent and personality to lose but I'm sure the new guy will do fine. Clutch management is on the crew chief, the adjustments he calls for are so important. This is an area where improvement can be made over last season. I was wondering what your goals are as a team for next season, That would be a good subject for a video I think. Clay, Thank you for producing these videos....always entertaining and excellent insights into the behind the scenes relationships and workings of a race team. I can appreciate these discussions as a veteran crew person on a nostalgia NFC team. I'm "jealous" of the pro team environment having facilities and parts depth our team could only dream of but we're out there competing non the less. It was great seeing Kaylynn on camera again and we'll miss her on the videos and seeing her occasionally on the Sunday broadcasts. Best of luck to Ringo as well. Keep up the great video work and planning to see you at Richmond in 2024.
What a great video, seeing Kaylynn leaving brought a tear to my eye. She was a big part of the team, however Blane will be the next part of your your story. I am sure Kaylynn past on everything and Blane will try to improve on it. I wish Kaylynn all the happiness in her future, and sure she will achieve what ever she puts her mine to. I have some mixed feelings on this. I had no idea how long Kaylynn has been with the team. I have known about Clay for a while but didn't discover his yt channel until this year so getting to know everyone was quite new. I was kind of hoping that another girl would have been chosen to take her wonderful place but at the same time I am glad Blaine will do his best (and he is really good at what he has been doing) to fill her shoes. But without prior experience as he stated it will probably a little of a learning experience but he has Jesse and Bruce and Jim-O I'm sure he will do just fine. It would be very nice if Kaylynn had her own yt channel but that requires time to film and time to edit and in a fast paced job like she is going to and has been on that will not be easy.
I'm happy for her but will miss her. It's not going to be the same not seeing her jump around when you win. The new clutch guy will do a good job. Congratulations to him for getting the job. Good luck on your new position Kaylinn.
