I'm no german, I'm Bulgarian, but as someone who lives in Germany and likes German locomotives alongside british and American, this is great Edit: *OHGODDAMMITWHY*
If you want to make more footage you can visit the ''Stoom Stichting Nederland'' this coming weekend (2-3 october). Not sure but if i'm correct there will be 23 023, 23 071, 23 076 and even a Pacific (01 1075). Also for someone not Dutch you pronounce 's Hertogenbosch and Nijmegen quite well!
The NS was actually quite successful at getting rid of their steam engines. The select few that are left are part of the national collection and are properly knackered. Funnily enough, the grand majority of steam locos in the Dutch collection were built in Britain.
You comment on class 23s being push-pull fitted how about push-push fitted. I remember seeing one in the middle of a suburban train, coaches either side of it during an evening rush hour in Saarbrucken, whilst on a German steam railtour
Please note that the German rail system had areas where the appropriate-sized turn tables couldn't be constructed. Thus the system was fitted on a variety of tender locos.
*"WHAAAT? Two videos in one day? Who are you and what have you done to Flying Scott?!"*
Wait, is it still the same day?
Can you do the BR 52?

I do intend to go, yes!
i wonder why there are no mainline Dutch steam locos in running condition?

Speaking of German locos, how about an episode about the wartime Kriegsloks?

I can remember seeing this on in Boxtel that was nice
What do you think of steam engines rebuilt by the Reichsbahn of the GDR?
Push-pull on a tender locomotive? How does that work??
Compressed air, not unlike operating hopper doors with a Westinghouse pump.

Push pull tender engines huh *flashes back to Gordon pulling into station backwards *
Hungarian State Railways fitting their most powerful universal locomotive for push pull service:
