So, so good. I am always in awe of his fourth-finger vibrato. It's so solid and intense, he never has to shift up to use his third finger on important phrase-ending notes. And I love the fullness of his sound-- he really lets that bow sink into the string-- kind of like Pinchas Zukerman.
Yes, well, you know, the piece is about more than 4th finger vibrato. I think Shlomo is great for things like Wieniawski and Paganini, I'm really a fan of his for those virtuostic pieces, but IMO he just doesn't get this at all.
great playing. Mintz is amazing. VN is wonderful. Lyrical and strong, beautiful phrasing. What a fabulous orchestra. 2nd Mintz I watched today. Wienawski #2 is great.
Dear Mr. Mintz, this video in not available for smartphones, only computer (desktop). Please, if you can, open the video for all the people. Congratulations for the performance! God bless you all the time, Juan Marcello (from Brasil).
I'm enjoying it right now in a LG G4. Unfortunately it is not HD but the recording is absolutely perfect! And Schlomo play is outstanding. He makes it so easy!! Incredible.
The damnedest thing about Mintz is that he makes it look so EASY!! As if he's making fun of how easy it is. Is that unbelievable or what? There ought to be a law against it, I tell you. He's doing something that is impossibly difficult yet makes it look like a joke.

OMG I have thought the same thing about his fourth-finger vibrato!

@@duvidl58 Huh? Who said the piece is about fourth-finger vibrato? What does that even mean?
Mintz and Hahn, the gods of pinky vibrato

The video is already open for all people. I am afraid it is a technical problem beyond our control. Thank you.
