I love your channel but I especially love remodeling work so this has been a fun watch! You have my sympathy for that pipe scene though, cast iron is so heavy and I can only imagine how terrifying that would have been to see it fall through the ceiling.
If you'd asked me a few years ago, I would have said I'd never need a track saw, but I'm so glad that I finally went ahead and purchased one. It comes in really handy, and I no longer have to cut large sheets on my table saw. I like the Makita saw. I bought a couple of extra tracks so that I could cut a 10ft long top for a cabinet that I made. I also bought some track clamps, but I rarely use them. If I were going to purchase one today, I'd probably go with the cordless version because I've had a couple of times when the cord got wrapped around the track and I had to stop to get unstuck.
@@Woodumakeit Thank you so much for replying and suggesting the cordless. I bought the corded DeWalt trim router to save a few dollars, and not have to buy the batteries that SHOULD be included with the cordless. I absolutely love it but the cord does tend to get in the way. Thanks again.
Really enjoying this series.
I'm enjoying this series. When that pipe fell i chuckled a bit because i can relate sort of. Never anything costly though.
Great job! I hope your daughter realizes how valuable her dad is! I know she does!

How would you rate the Makita track saw? I've wanting to get one for a while now.
