Thanks once again for watching! There is a full cost breakdown at the very end of the video, as well as links to many of the products/tools in the description. Hope this helps!
Huge issue on this project: you did this work somewhere else instead of my house. Really nice job, man. Super high quality craftsmanship at every turn.
Turned out terrific!! I wish I had your knowledge. I've got a bathroom that needs some love. Really enjoy your videos. Love that you don't waste time talking to the camera and doing a bunch of nonsense. Just the voice over with the sped up process, very enjoyable to watch. Plus it makes it look super easy and like you did it in a day. Lol. If only right?
@S Yeah. Pick up a tool and start doing handy work around your home. Do it long enough and fuck up multiple times and you'll learn 😂. "A dumbass at rest will stay at rest, a dumbass in motion stays in motion, unless acted upon by an unbalanced fuckery ". In short, don't underestimate your ability to do things. Commitment and determination is all it takes. Juts try it
@@HumanBeingSpawnyeah LOL i actually worked on the restroom i used at my parents house and used extremely similar building material, cost me around $4000 overall to make a bathroom like this which was super worth it but i spent over a year and half working on it till it was complete
Extremely impressive. Each project seems to be more ambitious, and it is awesome to hear you talk about respecting your clients' budget. You're a good man Charlie Brown.
Stumbled on your channel a few weeks ago and I'm not disapointed. I retired from my carpenter job a few years ago because of chronic back pain and I really enjoy watching those projects you're working on because they remind me of what I loved about what I used to do. Filming everything while working must be a bit or a pain for you but you're doing a killer job man. I love the fact that you're working on 'regular' projects that are realistic to most people. The template idea for cutting tile is so smart to not to waste on material, I'm sure a lot of people will find it handy, thanks for sharing. TLDR you're killing it man, keep up the good job ! Cheers from Québec city, Canada!
Agree with using green board for shower areas. With proper tiling, grout, sealer, and water proofing, the drywall will never see water. If water does get back there, cement board ain’t gonna stop it 🤷♂️.
Exactly. If water penetrates your waterproofing then your shower has already failed. I see no reason to spend extra time and money on something completely redundant
Just bought a house and some areas need work. No where close to your level but really admire your attention to detail and being mindful of what people can afford :)
Stunning bathroom. Loved the video from start to finish. You are very talented in multiple fields. And your voice is so pleasing. Thank you for not having overpowering background music.
My hubby and I will be buying our first house soon and we've talked about turning the laundry room into a bathroom. This was really helpful! Thank you!
Hey Liam, really impressive job... I agree with many of the comments about the level of skill demonstrated in each of these videos just getting better and better. Fascinating to watch.
Thank you for showing curbless shower install. I have to do something similar for my basement hoping not to lose too much headroom from the shower head.
Really good work...I appreciate that you terminate tour niche on the grout lines...few guys do this anymore since pre fabs hv become popular...I never use them...great job
Watching this is like watching a skilled artist make a realistic drawing. It's like I can see what they're doing, and nothing about it looks too hard, yet when I give it a go, it comes out nothing alike.
Great work! I'm thinking about converting my laundry room in a 3rd bathroom, but keeping the washer and dryer in there, just stacked. I have that same space, but concrete floor, which I think is more challenging.
You jumped right in. No long, talkative intro. And you gave a cost breakdown at the end! 😮 That alone has garnered you a new sub! And I rarely sub a channel. Keep up the fascinating vids!
Wow...I wanted to know how to do this to see what it would take to diy in my house... and now I see why it's important for a trained and experienced professional to do this. 😮😅
Im a plumber in the US and i know it’s colder in Canada but I’m not sure why the plumber would tell you not to run the water lines in a garage wall. One your using pex and two if you insulate the wall and or the pip then you’ll be fine. BTW you really only need to insulate the hot side.
I like that the shower had a continual floor with the rest of the bathroom. That's supposedly more European but I like that and it seems less expensive and maybe even easier to clean but I'm seeing this a little more on HGTV
Don’t worry I’ve subscribed!!! Your use of electrician, plumbing skills is incredible, here in Australia, you need a separate trade person, ‘ here we go, how blames the electrician, the electrician blames the plumber , the tiler blames the builder or the building !!!!and , of course , they tell you. ‘ it’s not my job so they stay in the confined trade , ‘ so there’s five different people and that’s with a company who does the whole job, not a ‘ owner builder. ‘ Your very very very lucky your country allows you to fit / repair Electicial and plumbing, or do you have a sparky and plumbing trade ? Still very , very , very impressive , that your tiling is perfect , especially on the large cuts on other posts and the whole job, as mentioned by other Ytuber post, sorry , your way , way , way, to cheap , Trust me , people will pay the extra , because of your post and materials used AND ESPECIALLY your love and passion !!!! That’s priceless I’ve learnt so much doing properly myself as trades here are more butcher , doggy hopeless idiots that still want there money after the crap install they’ve done !!!! , DON’T SELL YOURSELF SHORT !!!! If other’s are charging top dollar , why don’t you ????
Hi 🖐 from Norway here 😊 love your videos and projects. Im fixing my house also, and really get inspired by your work 😊 hope its not to long wait for the next video. Keep up the good work 👍😊
This was so amazing! I'm going to attempt to do this to my bathroom myself. Learning and purchasing everything. I have a short insert that I have to rip out.
Good evening, good work. I like your work a lot. I am a citizen of the country of Algeria. I witness your work on the channel. Dima. Now I have the same specialization in the field of construction
Hey man! Looks gray but code where I live at least states that a light switch can’t be within arms reach of a shower. Even if it’s gfci but might be different where you are. Other than that looks awesome
Great job! Although gotta admit it's a little bit funny to watch a contractor learn why it's NOT always best to start with a full tile at the bottom of the course...or a full tile at the centerline in either direction. Best practice is to measure the centerline of the wall in both directions and then do a quick layout - even on the wall in pencil - so that the end of the tile course in both directions will have equally sized tiles and no "slivers". Sometimes that will mean there is not a full tile at the centerline in either direction, but rather a grout line...and that's fine. Still this is a job well done and having watched all of his videos, I must admit it was funny to watch this talented hardworking young man learn about work gloves, eye protectors, and knee pads! 🙂
I was really hoping to see how you installed/connected the piping for the toilet. That's what I'm trying to do. I want to make my laundry room a 1/2 bathroom. You did a great job with everything
I really like your work, it's amazing. HOWEVER watching this video today I noticed in the beginning you are fishing all the wires through the ceiling and walls spending a lot of time and energy but later on you take OFF all the drywall off the walls anyways. Would it be easier to just do the wires after you take off the drywall first?? Thank you
you may be getting grout color discoloration on the floor because of the extra water introduced from the sponging of the grout lines. I try to use a little less water in the floor grout mix and absolutely strangle the sponge dry for wiping.
Yes that’s definitely a possible reason, but it’s a problem I’ve never had when using laticretes grout. If custom building products grout is going to discolour over a tiny bit of water during the setting process than I consider it to be a garbage product
Thanks once again for watching! There is a full cost breakdown at the very end of the video, as well as links to many of the products/tools in the description. Hope this helps!
does the whole cost breakdown include all your labor?
I was told that you need a really big bathroom if install curbless. What did you do when install the subfloor?
BTW, it’s really nice
@@MultiProtein no not at all. Literally watch the video and you’ll see

one small note about the door handle being a bit low, cut on the top part of the door and you will need to change the location of the door hinges
