Katie!! Thank you so much for reading all our comments and making longer videos!! I cannot tell you how much joy this video has brought me! Of course, do what's sustainable for your family and health life, but I'll always be so thankful for getting to hang out with you during your chatty videos!!
I love her long video’s!❤when its near the end you don’t want her to leave. It’s like No! Let’s hang out longer lol 😊😂. I have watched her for so long and have enjoyed every minute of it.
I loved when you just accepted we want longer videos and said “dang it imma give you that” 😂 For me I actually was the type to ask my friend if I could get things from their cupboards and such. However I think if someone uses your shower, that’s a sign they’re comfortable or at home in your place.
I have a towel at my friends apartment that we bought to keep there. If she wasn’t finishing her undergrad this semester, I’d leave a pair of flip flops over there too! (Mostly so I don’t steal her shoes when she’s asleep and the dog wakes me up to go outside.)
Yes! I’m the same way. I always asked for any food or drink. Even at my best friends house. Maybe money is tight or they are saving something for someone else or need something for a recipe so going and grabbing something could ruin that and I’d rather avoid conflict lol My best friend, I’ve taken showers at her house and she at mine when we were in high school. There’s even a picture of me poking out of the shower curtain at her house and she snapped of a picture of me 😂 It’s just my head poking out of the shower curtain making a goofy smile, but it’s a funny picture. Ah good times 😊 thank you for the trip down memory lane
Sorry if this makes you and your teams jobs more difficult but thank you for the extended videos! They're like a warm cup of tea before bed (I'm british 🤣) and it's just really comforting to listen to you talk while making amazing creations!
These multi pass soaps look soo 60s to me, completely psychedelic. You could so a summer of love collection - Day-Glo /daisies/lava lamps /twister etc!
As a German I feel I need to speak up about the Haribo slander going on here XD We don't have the other brand you talked about around here, we only have a few other brands of gummies besides Haribo. Katjes is the biggest competitor, and I prefer them because they are completely vegan, and have rainbow unicorn gummies, which are my favorite! I just finished a package before this video ^^;
@@yokonamigaara that's not surprising. The same thing happened with Cadbury chocolate, with the UK version having a higher fat content and generally being better quality than the version made in the US.
Haribo grapefruit slices are my favorite candy OF ALL TIME, but I agree with Katie that the Haribo gummy bears are really good but Albanese gummy bears are much better (at least in the United States!)
I enjoy the Albinese gummies, but I grew up with Haribo since back when we could only find them in the German deli / bakery. They just taste “right” if that makes sense. I definitely wouldn’t kick the Albinese gummies off the island, and they’re definitely softer, but Haribo is still my go-to.
Love the bestie talk. I have to boast on my bestie of almost 20 years real quick. I live a few states away and she still lives in the same town as my siblings. She has taken my little sister in to live with her when she got out of high school. And when my dad passed away, not only did she go pick up BOTH of my adult siblings, her dad took the day off to watch her kids so she could be there for my siblings since I couldn't. Her and her family have been their for my elderly inlaws more times than I can count! She has made them weeks worth of freezer meals while my FIL was going through chemo and even went out to do work on their house while also selling their house for them. She is an ABSOLUTE Saint and I wouldn't be who I am without her and her family. ❤️ That is all.
I always love your videos, but today was extra special. This September is the 40th anniversary of meeting my best friend in college. Friendships are incredibly important, and sometimes when we get involved with careers and family, it's easy to let distance grow. But especially as we grow older, we appreciate the value of people who have loved you through thick and thin, and helped you through the fires that forge our true selves. Cheers to real friends!
You mentioned really good green flags. Also, in this video I realized just how experienced you are and how good eye you have for colors. When they were all in the buckets I was like "omg these colors don't match AT ALL, why would Katie chose them" but once you cut the soap they looked amazing together!
Katie, everything you talked about as far as red flags go, have been happening to me. Thank you so much for talking about such a thing. See why we all love you girl? I definately have some things to bring up to my "friend" Ive just been dreading it. Fear no more!! Oh and by the way lol these soaps are adorable!!
I am team chatty! So long as it's easy for you and your team. You're 1 of 3 wholesome channels that I can turn on while cooking dinner or doing the laundry and I don't have to worry about my son hearing anything inappropriate 💓 so thank you for these! My sons not of the age to carry on a conversation yet so it gets lonely in the daytime sometimes so your videos are like having a friend over.
I hear this in my soul!! My kids are actually older now (in my opinion that time with only one kid who can't talk is one of the hardest!), and I still just want to have a little grown up "conversation" that I know is going to make me feel good, and not worry about what the kiddos hear!
@@lisaroper421 It's so nice hearing that I'm not in uncharted waters! Lol. I love my son to pieces but I was not prepared for the loneliness that can happen sometimes. The Albanese gummies might be a bit more expensive than Haribo, but they are SO worth it! The texture is so soft and the flavors are AMAZING! I always ask for a giant bag of them for Christmas. 😋
Aww this is quite nostalgic for me!!! I grew up within a 10 minute drive to the Albanese Candy Factory in Indiana. My grandma and my aunt loved going there and every time they would go they always brought me back chocolate covered espresso beans lol they are my absolute fav! That and their turtles. Whenever i visit home i always try to go there and get some candy!
This video is so perfect right now. My granny is on palliative care and we're camped out in the hospital since yesterday. I'm so tired and sad, I really needed something comforting and chill and royalty soaps always comes through ❤️
Regarding reaching out first - I know it can be hurtful to come to the realization that you are always the first to reach out, but some people have social anxiety and even specifically telephone anxiety, and I really understand that. I had a friend like that, she was wonderful, but nearly never texted or called. when we lived in the same city, we were both really happy to hang out, I know she loved me because she showed it in other ways. The trouble is now that I live miles and miles away, the bond just dissipated. I was upset, and tried to keep it up, but it's tough. Anyway, it really matters how close you are to begin with. If it's a new friendship that's not properly formed yet, yeah texting first is annoying after a while, and you start to wonder if they're as invested as you. It's really a case-by-case situation.
Yayyy! I'm glad you're not doing the voice overs & the videos are longer than 8-10 minuets again. I stopped watching for a while, but now that we're back to our regular programming, I can happily come back to what was one of my favorite channels.
I love the Albanese gummy bears! I particularly like that they are less rubbery than most other gummy bears, they're a little softer and easier to chew.
Your little chat made me call up my best friend to tell her how much she means to me! A few years ago, I became the primary caregiver for my mother as she was going through cancer. I told my friends and had one friend completely drop me because I was being “selfish,” for taking care of myself and my family. Versus my best friend who FLEW 4 HOURS to come help me for 2 weeks! We really don’t deserve some people, and there are some people we really don’t deserve, if you get me!
Thank you for always being a ray of sunshine. I’ve been struggling for the last year and a half and your videos always make me feel better. Even if it’s just for 10-20 minutes. You’re one of the good things in my world.
Yayyy!! Longer videos are back!! I love the random Katie chatter we get in the middle of the video, but also I want to make sure you like longer videos!! Please only make them if they are making you happy aswell
One of my favorite things when I was younger while watching your videos was when you explained some of the science behind what’s going on with the soap! I remember impressing a teacher about saponification! It was so cool when you explained experiments you tried or new things you learned with using a fragrance or even coloring and how they affected the soap.
the longer videos i love so much!! i love listening to you talk about everything and anything when you make soap. it really does feel like catching up with a friend whenever you upload! your videos have always been a form of comfort for me because of your positivity and energy
Your soap creations never cease to amaze me 😮❤ I can sit and watch them all for hours, your imagination is endless. I started making soaps last year and all my cp have not worked at all haha! I can laugh now but at the time I was so frustrated 😢 thank you for always showing the good, the bad and the ugly (saw a video from last year where you used blue suede shoes mica and it went brown). This is me the confidence to get back into learning about soaping and if it doesn’t work, that’s okay too ❤
Your friendship red/green flags helped me with my view on relationships! I’ve had some trauma so certain things can be hard for me to encourage in romantic relationships. Your words helped me simplify my thoughts and I’ll be taking this into account going forward!
I like both styles of voiceover and chatting live. But definitely agree that longer videos are better. But mostly do what is sustainable and better for you and your business
All them green flags your talking about makes me feel so good, the person I’m with now treats me like I’m the only girl in the world(Ik it’s friendship directed) but omg it feels so great to be validated to any degree on any relationship!!!❤
I love how you connected with the audience you are, Katie, even if it's just daily things you are personally dealing with... regardless if it is from your yeti or lapel mic, whatever is convenient for you.
Could you do a Glass Soap Series?? Where you add a bunch of interesting imbeds to clear soap. Maybe use that idea to make a snow globe soap?? Love this as always!! Thanks Katie!!!
Albanese are so superior! 😂 I also love their ultimate bag, which is all natural flavors and colors and soooo good! They also have a sour all the way through bag, which has the usual sour coating, but the gummy itself is sour too!
Just gotta say… I bought from the Alice in Wonderland collection because I’m a major Alice in Wonderland fan and I had to give soap to my mom because they were so beautiful and she was astonished and said that, “Katie your are an artist soup genius” and my mom is from here on a faithful fan.
I wasn't to crazy about the colors in the pitchers. However once you cut the soap and held it up. OMG! It's fantastically beautiful!! 😲 My 17 year old daughter is obsessed with the native gummy bear line. And I could not be happier because she was literally in tears when she ran out of tye-dye cupcake!
I love your videos Katie they make me feel so relaxed. I am a big fan of gummi bears and the albanese brand are my favorite. the colors you chose for the soap are spot on to the colors of the candy bears.
The best gummies are the hill country fare store brand at HEB. They didn't have to put so much effort into making them good but they have the best flavor and texture of any brand
The red flag about "being the one to reach out first" is definitely one I've been guilty of doing. It's not because I'm not a good friend but, its because I don't want to bother them if they're busy. I wanted to hang out all the time to a point where I didn't want to be overwhelming to too clingy. It was very much a self-esteem issue when I did that with my best friend. I always felt like a bother or a chore in giving a reply to because I didn't feel I was as worthy as his other friends or other dedications. My friend brought up that he would always reach out first and he didn't feel that was right in a friendship as it is a two way transaction. Ever since I make an effort to reach out whenever I am free to or want to. He has the more busy schedule nowadays but I message anyway and he'll get back to me when he can. We still chat and play games near daily.
I’m the exact same way! I almost never reach out first because I’m afraid I will call or text at the wrong time and bother them. I have a super clingy personality and I don’t want to aggravate people so I often just don’t do anything because I could easily go overboard. If I want do something I often never say because I don’t want to be a bother. I’m like a duckling, as soon as I see my friend I follow them around until they leave or I have to go. I’m also super introverted so that doesn’t help the duckling problem.🤣
I love this collection so much! But I also love mini things and the iSpy books too! This soap is so dang cute!! I love the colors so much, that Brazen Hussy color is one of my favorites you use. I also want to say I love longer videos, because I love hearing you talk and seeing you create too!! You do whatever makes you happiest!! ☺️☺️
That is so dang cute! And the bears give me those plastic bears that looked like gummy bears but they were for sorting and counting and learning colors! I loved those as a kid
Gorgeous drop swirl! And those colours look great together. Such a cute soap :) xoxox I've never tried Albanese gummi bears, but I'll have to check them out. Not a fan of Haribo, but do like Swedish Fish. I hope that you do something fun for yourself today too. I wish you all the best & always have. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙
I am 100000% with you on Albanese being the best gummies! I love all their shapes and flavors. The ultimate (all natural! :) ) version is one of my faves!
Albanese gummies are cute and delicious, yes - but have you seen the MINI ONES??? if you see an individual package like for Halloween candy ... The gummies inside are itty bitty!!
My best bestie and I have been friends for years and years, we met really young and became best friends at like 6 & 9 and are still besties to this day at the ages of 36 & 33. She is 100% my sister and her family has always been my 2nd family and home away from home, I love them all so much!
Gurl!!! "Somebody's granddaughter is going to love these." Me!!! I am in fact a granddaughter who loves this soap!!! (My Grams is totally my best friend) This is soooo pretty Katie!!! I am loving the addition of teaching us something that you believe! Thank you! I adore the heck outta you and your amazing family!
Katie- I love you but Haribo is the best gummy bear! ❤I do love how your soap turned out. Also am happy to hear your chatty self back I do prefer this way over the voice-over. You always make me smile!!
Have you tried the Albanese ULTIMATE gummy bears? Those are so yummy! You have flavors like Asian pear, Fuji apple, black currant, etc. Just a bunch of flavors you normally don't see in a gummy bear.
Shout out to Albanese. There's a factory/storefront local to me so we get them all the time. I love how they make sugar free options for their products.
I use to leave by Albanese candy factory. If you're ever in NorthWest Indiana stop there. You can sample everything. The chocolate is amazing. They have a 20 ish foot chocolate fountain too.
I live about an hour away from the Albanese factory. You can watch them make the gummy bears and then of course buy some plus all kinds of other candies they make. So cool!!
I have Native's Gummy Bear and blue ribbon candy body washes! I had been using your soap exclusively but I had to order those because I love candy and their deodorant lol The fragrance of both is great, and this soap made me think of that!
biggest red flag for me in a friendship is that they get upset with you when you can't drop everything you're doing to go help them when they call you. I had this happen with someone I'm no longer friends with, and when she'd get upset (sometimes over something I didn't even do) she wouldn't talk to me for WEEKS, especially when I wouldn't drop everything in my life because she needed someone to come watch her kids while she went shopping or "ran a small errand". Another red flag is that they take advantage of you helping them (such as watching their kids) to the point they take longer than what they said it would because they "just don't wanna go home yet"
I love this video!! So great! I don’t know if you have heard of them but Midwest Fragrance Company is a smaller fragrance company and they are AMAZING with their variety of scents. I always think to myself “I bet Katie would love this” when ordering or working with their stuff.
Katie, I love you but I am “Team Haribo” forever. Having said that, I have visited the Albanese factory in Merrillville, IN which was super cool and the staff members there were lovely.
I'm hearing the Albanese are softer and less rubbery(?) which makes me hesitant to try them... I adore Haribo gummies!! Orange and clear are the best! 🐻🐻
Thank you for the awesome video! I think we all just like you so much and feel like you are a close friend and want as much time with you as possible. But we understand that time with the fam is a priority-just want you to know how much we enjoy your videos!! My fav is sour watermelon gummies! 🍉

Brazen hussy 🤣😂🤣 colorant. Oh wow, thanks for sharing Beautiful Katie.
Yayyy!! Longer videos are back!! I love the random Katie chatter we get in the middle of the video, but also I want to make sure you like longer videos!! Please only make them if they are making you happy aswell
Thank you for the longer videos, I’ve been a fan for probably about 4-5 years and I was honestly so sad by the shorter videos
You are absolutely right about the gummi bears. We deserve the good ones 🙂
Katie I have a friend that I have been blessed to have her my entire life so far. She is 1 month older than me and we are 53 this year!
Could you come up with a design that could maybe jive with the golden girls? My bathroom is decorated with the girls.
This is me the confidence to get back into learning about soaping and if it doesn’t work, that’s okay too ❤
Thank you so much for watching!
Love your long-form videos! Always nice to hear you chit-chatting!
I love it when you talk. Its soothing, you are funny, humble and entertaining. Just be you and talk you heart out.
Your friendship red/green flags helped me with my view on relationships! I’ve had some trauma so certain things can be hard for me to encourage in romantic relationships. Your words helped me simplify my thoughts and I’ll be taking this into account going forward!
Yay to longer videos!! I love listening to your stories while I crochet.
I often wonder what 16-year-old Katie would think of how far she has come since starting her soap making journey! ☺
This comment!!! Yesssss
Love the chatty video format Katie x
🥰🥰🥰
I like both styles of voiceover and chatting live. But definitely agree that longer videos are better.
But mostly do what is sustainable and better for you and your business
Love the chatty video! It's always so wholesome and we need more wholesomeness on the internet!
Your videos keep me company while I’m folding my family’s MOUNTAIN of laundry, you always manage to make it feel like chatting with a friend 💕
Great idea!
I really enjoy this style of video and the longer videos MUCH more than the voiceovers. Thanks Katie!
Thanks for the new video! Your channel always makes me feel more joyful, especially on stressful days. God bless you and yours!
Love Albanese!!! Best gummies ever. I gave up consuming artificial colors, and their natural colored gummies are over the top yummy!!
Also I like that you dont always doll up for videos thank you for giving us ladies a realistic youtuber to idolize ♥
I loved the drop swirl without a base background colour 😊
I wasn't to crazy about the colors in the pitchers. However once you cut the soap and held it up. OMG! It's fantastically beautiful!! 😲 My 17 year old daughter is obsessed with the native gummy bear line. And I could not be happier because she was literally in tears when she ran out of tye-dye cupcake!
I love putting these on in the background while doing things so I don't feel weird doing stuff around the house alone. Thanks for the longer video!
I love your videos Katie they make me feel so relaxed. I am a big fan of gummi bears and the albanese brand are my favorite. the colors you chose for the soap are spot on to the colors of the candy bears.
I love the colors, the swirls, the glitter, the gummy bears... I love it all so much.
Katie I love the longer videos! I am obsessed and continually check UA-cam to see when you upload.
LOVE this soap and LOVE the longer format. Thank you 💚💚💚💚 that soap is just beyond stunning
i absolutely needed this energy today, thank you!
I'm not a big gummy fan, but this soap is so stinkin cute! The inside reminds me of sherbet too!
Gotta love the Katie life tips! So glad you had that in this video. I love your comments and hot takes. ❤
I am a fan of you talking while recording. 😊😊😊 thank you, wonderful creator
I 💕 LOVE YOUR NATURAL VOICE, KATIE! !!!!!!!!¡
After a long day at uni, what a wonderful vid to watch! I do love your long videos Katie!
I LOVE neons! Love this design, awesome creation as always guys!
Love these long format chatting videos! Gummy Bears are my favorite candy.
I am 100000% with you on Albanese being the best gummies! I love all their shapes and flavors. The ultimate (all natural! :) ) version is one of my faves!
Yay yay yay!! So happy the long chatty videos are back!
🙌 yes! Love long videos. Also gummy bears!!!
Katie- I love you but Haribo is the best gummy bear! ❤I do love how your soap turned out. Also am happy to hear your chatty self
back I do prefer this way over the voice-over. You always make me smile!!
Love your video! Thank you. I've thought about using that gummy bear mold. I love the way yours came out.
Love this format so so much!!!! Yay! My unwind ritual returns!!! Huzzah!
This collection is definitely going to be the first collection I order from!
That soap is amazing! So colorful!
Thank you so much Katie
This is the first soap I have bought from you! That and a cow peasant soap . ❤❤❤
I live about an hour away from the Albanese factory. You can watch them make the gummy bears and then of course buy some plus all kinds of other candies they make. So cool!!
That would be SUCH a fun field trip!!
I think it would also look so good with a white soap frosting to make the gummy bears pop on the top ❤️
Katie: "you shouldn't feel nervous to ask for a snack"
Me who gets nervous from being around people in general
I adore Albanese gummies. I always pick them up at Grocery Outlet for cheaper and its such a nice treat.
I'm 38 and I'm obsessed with these 🤣🤣🫶🫶
Katie, I love you but I am “Team Haribo” forever. Having said that, I have visited the Albanese factory in Merrillville, IN which was super cool and the staff members there were lovely.
The gummy bear scent from Native was AMAZING!!!
