    This Technique is very effective.
I just trained for 1 Month and my coach send me to national Championship tournament and I was totally unprepared.
My first fight was with an International player and he was very dangerous Fighter. In the fight I used footwork and I used my arms.
Just Like in this video I did it in the ring and my opponent couldn't hit me 1 punch but in the 3rd round I loss my stamina so I Took punches and I lost the round but I'll take my revenge soon.
In my country we don't have smart coaches.
    Thanks for the technique Sir.

I love long guard . I'm a 6ft 2 middle waight to cruiser . I mostly train MMA but a boxing focus style.
The long guard is my default . I'm slightly more bladed than this guy so the right stays closer and the left is like a wall of jab and block . I only square off with a half step to fire big hooks .
If they do close I bone wall with my forearms then post back to long guard .
Everyone wants to peakaboo these days but if you have long arms you will do better fighting like Lenox than fighting like Tyson .

@@mortalkomment8028 i have had a 6.6 sparing partner . He loved streat punches so I used to outside parry with the right . Lead feft hook him to temple right hook to body , right hook to jaw .
To beat him I had to drive him into the corner widen my stance to cut him off. Make him shell up and swing from my hips . Constant pressure no going backwards or he would get me . I was never really able to find away to anitiate my own entry to start the barrage though I allways found it easier to slip outside of a parry .
      Everyone else I've ever spared I outreached . I'm not really a 6ft 2 person I'm a 5.11 person with a 6ft4 persons limbs 😆

Peekaboo is kind of easy to defeat, not sure how to make is successful. I'm trynna figure it out though, I bet it could come it useful in some instances.

I love that the soviet coaches teach to switch stance when it makes sense. So many coaches (including mine) always coach against but it makes you faster at moving around the ring when you need to traverse to the lead hand side quickly. I think you should train switching from day 1 of your boxing journey.

Again, Sir, congratulation on footwork already mentioned in the previous sessionn, first back and only then to side or at some angles, also involving changing garde and attacking cannot be handled by everyone. With my best intentions, I would be more level- related when instructing, as you also know for sure that adopting skills takes time and some levels of experiences. Consequently , I would separte yOur presentation into three levels:
    - for beginners- mostly retreating, and passive blocking
-for intermediate - the same plus sidestep with mor active blocking
-for advanced - the previous skills plus changing the garde and even counterfighting.
Best regards, Paul, 66, retired instructor of Karate.

Yeah don't think I've seen floyd do exactly this. Floyd is more close courters to mid Philly shell. He punishes his opponent with counters instead of bouncing back and to the side. Alot less active than this, more paced and calm. Look at his fight with Ricky Hatton, sat in front of him and punished him for attacking aggressively.
