From Marilyn: We just love Brian's expressions! You guys have a fun, playful relationship. Love your vids!
We’re so glad you’re enjoying them! 🧡😊🤓
I tell my husband "Just get in, Sit down and hold on 🤣🤣🤣" He does 🤣🤣🤣
😂 😳 🤣
Wow… takes me back. We took our two kids to Colonial Williamsburg one summer (1984) and to this day we still have the picture I took of my wife and them with an expression of disgust because it was so hot and humid. They just wanted to get back to the hotel and the swimming pool.
Oh funny! Yes it gets pretty hot & humid there too. It would make it unbearable to walk around there when it’s really hot.
wow raised in Va Beach..loved every minute.....great childhood..lived on the beach..went to First COLONIAL HS..off to college and ended up living in Williamsburg....good life indeed...enjoy watching your videos
😂 funny seeing our backyard through the eyes of visitors. Horse phit! 😂 😂
😂🤪
Williamsburg is an all day if not 2 day experience!! What a wonderful place!
Totally agree! We tried to do it all in a half day and didn’t get through every thing.
Great production! Loved it! Thanks guys.
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Glad you had fun visiting our home turf in the Tidewater Virginia area
I love your videos! You guys are my favorite RV UA-cam channel. Thank you for the time you give us and quality is amazing.
Thank you so much Lisa! This makes our day! We’re so happy you enjoy our adventures. 🧡😊🤓
We went there years ago with the kids. Just love the history. Go Hawks .😎🤓🥸🏈
Yes so much history in that whole area. It’s so much better to see those places in person than in books. Go Hawks! Hope they have a good game & win today. We are traveling but will listen on the radio. 🧡😊🤓
Brian and Michelle, I so enjoy your videos every Saturday morning. Your sense of humor is great and you also provide some wonderful info about places to see. I love your editing with the side bar info on costs, apps or info on the area. As I prepare to go full time in a couple of years when I retire I watch a lot of youtubers, you are one of my favorites. Great videos!
Thank you so much for the kind words, Karon! That makes our day to hear you are enjoying them. 🧡😊🤓
My hometown. Made me homesick. CW is a very special place. My favorite is Christmas Time
It’s a beautiful area. Sorry that it made you homesick. :( Hope it brought back some good memories. 👍🏻😊🤓
Enjoyed the rest , Angie and I was supposed to go that way this year but had to cancel due to loss … thanking you for showing. All the historical areas. ..appreciated enormously!
Very sorry to hear of your loss. You’re very welcome and we’re glad you enjoyed it.
We loved our visit to Williamsburg! My ancestor (8th great-grandfather), Hugh Norvell died at his Williamsburg home on October 25, 1719 and is buried at the Bruton Parish Church cemetery. The historic church displays two plaques honoring his service. The plaque on Pew No. 7 honors "Hugh Norvell, Vestryman, 1710-1715". The other plaque names Hugh Norvell as one of the members of the vestry who erected the church building from 1710-1715. The church was closed the day we visited and open for church services, but we weren't there those days.
That is really cool!! Hopefully you’ll get another chance to go inside. 🧡
How fun! I know for my birthday in 2013 (I'll never forget it!) we had Thanksgiving dinner at the Plimoth and Patuxet Museum in MA. It was an entire periodical experience and was just amazing. Also got to see the Liberty Bell and other historical buildings at the Independence NPS. We really LOVE historical places like this!
That sounds like an awesome birthday!! We love historic places too!
I haven't been there in decades. Thanks for the video. Well done. Have a good week.
Glad you enjoyed it!
We loved Colonial Williamsburg
Glad you had a great time! It’s such an interesting place!
Thanks for standing in line for the sand sculptures. Amazing works of art. Love it.
Yes they were amazing! Such talent!
It’s very exciting to see you both enjoying our local areas. It opens our eyes to the beauty that we often take for granted because we live here. Hope you enjoyed the Hampton Roads area we call home. I grew up in Hampton and have attended the regatta many times. Sometimes on Sunday we’ll take a drive along the Colonial Parkway because we love it so much.
We really enjoyed that whole area. Lots of history to see and learn about. We would definitely go back and stay again.
Thank you very much for your video, esp. the part about Colonial Williamsburg which I visited for one full day in 1981. I have recognized some of the buildings, but I've missed the multitude of outdoor activities that they had then despite the enormous number of visitors that had to line up to see something. Of course, Covid had not been "invented" then. I am looking forward to your next adventures.
Glad you enjoyed it and that it brought back some memories of your Williamsburg visit. It’s a great part of history.
Enjoyed the video. 😎😃 I always learn so much that I didn't know before and get to see places that look amazing!!!!!🙂🙂 Thanks for another great video!!!!
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!
Love, love love Williamsburg! Covid has changed a few things. They had a wig maker acting like it was in the 1700’s. She was so good! There is something different every time we go.
It’s a fun place to visit. Still so much more to see there.
Thanks for the video. Very interesting tour.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Cuz I know you. Best response ever.
Beautiful. Love the sand castles. Had similar trouble with our sheep in our Winnebago View. Enjoying your videos.
Glad you enjoyed it!
MY FAVORITE PLACE❤️❤️❤️
Great video! We've been to Williamsburg. Great place to spend a few days!
Yes it is!! 👍🏻🧡
We were at Colonial Williamsburg one Christmas Eve Day and it snowed. Very picturesque but no one seem to know how to drive in the snow.
That sounds very pretty!
Brian and Michelle, how are you? Those sand sculptures looked amazing. That first meal you both had that wasn't really that good. Did seem a lil overpriced for the size of the portions. But, your dinner looked delicious. Thank you for showing us Colonial Williamsburg. Its wonderful to get to see the actual place that you only read about in history books from school when we were young. Take care and safe travels.
Yes there is so much history in that whole area. So glad there are restorations of these old pieces of our history to still go and see and learn about. Agree, so much better than reading in a book.
Have a great week! 🧡
Those sand sculptures are AMAZING! Beautiful country for sure. I’ve never been. 👂 😮
Weren’t they though?! 😮
Wow!!! Good-food ratings…9’s from Michelle?!?!?! Fun tour! Thank you for taking me along. I enjoyed it! 😀
😂 You’re so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it, Jolene!
Great work. Brought back some old memories - visited Colonial Williamsburg back in the mid-1980's. Going to have to go back again. Thanks.
Glad you liked it! We would go back again someday also. We didn’t get through everything in one day.
I love your videos! They’re informative, well done and fun to watch! I’m definitely putting this trip on our “To Do” list. Thanks again, fee you foon! Lol
Glad you enjoy them! 😂 fee you foon!
Looks like a nice visit!! Never been there. Travel safe; take care of pie girl!🤗 Guess you will head south soon. Pam
Yep we are heading south and will be in FL in another week.
Great video ... as always! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Good morning guys Linda and John sollazzo in the house great show just saw farener in Atlantic city safe travels guys keep in touch ps no surgery yet we will keep you posted
Good morning! We’ve been thinking of ya, prayers for a full recovery.
Colonial Williamsburg's rich with history. The sand sculptors were really amazing. I loved the dragon with the castle on top the most. Brian, your a very good narrator. I really enjoy seeing the places you & Michelle go, & the things you see. I didn't know "S" wasn't used in those days. I learned something new.
. 🍂 SP👀KTACULAR 🧛♂️ HALLOWEEN! 🍂
I hope you both have a spooktacular Halloween! oops.
Yes there’s so much history in that area. We loved it! Happy Halloween Kimberly!! 👻 🎃
Another great video! Thank you. Btw…I finally used your store to buy my wife the Miztique backpack that she fell for on one of your previous episodes and was also featured in this episode. Thank you for a great birthday gift idea. Safe travels to you both.😎
Awesome! Wishing your wife a very happy birthday! I’m sure she’ll be excited to get the backpack!
@@LivinRVision Thank you.😎
As odd as it may sound Colonial Williamsburg has grown since I was there the first time in 1966 and the second time in 1986. Seems much bigger now anyway! Looks like y'all had a great time! Until next week???
Yes, imagine they added more touristy things since then. We did enjoy the area. So much history to see and learn about.
See ya next week!
Safe travels!!
Thank you!
We need at least 2 videos a week! UA-cam pay them more $$$$.. Great video!!
We’d have to hire someone in order to do two a week lol Thanks so much for the kudos. Glad you enjoyed it!
That 🍦‼️ Awesome video and love the music!! Spent many field trips in Williamsburg growing up! Bright back some memories. 💚
Thank you! Glad it brought back some good memories for ya! 🧡
Ya’ll a a RIOT!!🤣🤣🤣
😂🤪
Welcome to Virginia and I live in Chesapeake Virginia
We enjoyed that area! Lots of history to explore!
Hey Brian and Michelle! When we were staying at the Chesapeake Bay TT (last week), we went to eat ice cream there twice! That Hershey's ice cream was SO good! We tried your recommendation of the Butter Rum ice cream and it was delicious - that caramel in it made it so yummy! We also went to Williamsburg, VA one afternoon. This weekend, we made it to Lake Gaston, NC on Halloween weekend and it has been so noisy and busy here! Their quiet time doesn't start until 11 pm and they had a DJ and music playing nearby us until 11:30 pm, but we're night owls anyway, so c'est la vie. Safe travels you guys - we're off to Whispering Pines (Encore) next. Hugs from Laura and Scott! (P.S. back then, they printed the letter "S" like a curved "f" - I've seen it on many old documents), and double S's with the same curved "f").
Glad you enjoyed the ice cream! That stuff is so dangerous! Lol Sounds like you had a good time.
We’re not sure about the “s”. The sign literally showed Poft Office with no curve and when we asked the older lady working there, she said they didn’t use the letter S then along with one other letter in the alphabet. 🤷♂️ 🤷♀️
Sounds like we need to use old faithful “Google” and see what we find. 😂
Hugs and hope to see you guys soon!
Best Episode ever! Thank You!
So glad you enjoyed it!!
Great video! We did a quick tour of Williamsburg while in Virginia Beach on business, @25 years ago. Also did a dinner cruise on Norfolk Harbor, and were able to see some of the US fleet. That was impressive.
Thanks! I bet that was impressive!
Great video! Have plans to visit my daughter in VA soon and Williamsburg is on our list! Thank you for sharing. Have a great week!
Thanks! Enjoy your visit! 😊🤓
Great video as always! That looks like something worth going to. Makes me sick what all these mentality disturbed young people want to destroy history.
Sandra Westley uk, we have the same trouble, they want to rewrite history over here, anything to do with slave trade colonialism etc etc destroy, pull down anything they don’t like, what they don’t seem to understand what ever you destroy from the past doesn’t change what happened, you only learn to do better when you understand what history did, but the change also includes whole families later down the chain that had nothing to do with what happened, but because they hold the same name they must destroy the , it’s a really crazy crazy world we live in now.
Thanks Steven!
We agree!
It seemed like there where a lot of portly people giving the shpeel at the end 😆
It sure looked like fun
Thanks
😂😂
Colonial Williamsburg looks like a really interesting place, we will have to add it to our ever growing list.
So much history in that whole area! Lots to see and learn about.
Love watching the Williamsburg tour you gave
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊🤓
Great vid...I've heard about Williamsburg but was impressed with the Disney neatness and cleanliness...Thanks for sharing...
Thanks! We were impressed as well. 😊🤓
your videos and map rendition are awesome... Cast is also awesome! Thx for sharing.
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
You always have great videos. L look forward to watching them. Thank you, can’t wait to meet you and Michelle.nWe will have ice cream or pie together.😘🥰😍
So glad you enjoy them! Thank you! 🧡😊🤓
Another awesome video thx for the history lesson from Collingwood Ontario.🇨🇦
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for taking us along, really enjoyed the history tour. Maybe one day I’ll be able to visit Williamsburg Virginia.
You’re very welcome! We hope you do.
Fhit happens, he-he-he. Beautiful place with oh fo many memorief. No "F's" is kinda fun!
😂🤪 kinda like Pig Latin 😉
All places are having trouble with getting workers but tourist areas are particularly hard hit. They have always depended on foreign workers and they have not been able to get visas the last 11/2 years. We were were in Grand Marais Minnesota(30 miles from Canada) and some of the businesses usually get 40 foreign workers and were only able to get 4. Same story in Door County WI.
That’s interesting! We never even thought about that. Businesses can’t even get local workers either. Hope this situation gets better soon.
I remember going to Glacier National Park in the 1980’s and they were mostly foreign workers back then. We’ve been dependent on them for decades.
Sandra Westley uk, we are having the same problems, since Covid-19 and Brexit, we have loads of vacancies and our youngster don’t want to work, all pickers and farm hands and restaurant staff have all returned home, and getting workers is like finding hens teeth. Nobody wants to work, and our furlong scheme for people being laid off work only finish at the end of September so although they were only getting 80% of pay, people hadn’t got travel costs etc so they were not any worse off and didn’t have to work.
Sorry it took so long to watch…. We enjoyed Williamsburg as well, except for the high cost of below avg food. We love looking for festivals and other similar events while on the road. As always, you guys are great. Hope things are going well this week! Safe travels
Don’t be sorry Scott, we appreciate you watching! 🧡 Yes the cost of the food there was a little much. Typical touristy area. Still, it was very interesting to see and learn about all the history.
Hope you have a great week!
- hope you enjoyed our historic area, if I may suggest if you come again to stay at Chippokes Plantation State Park and tour the plantation house, Bacons Castle, Windsor Castle and if possible Flowerdew Hundred Plantation or Sherwood Forest Plantation . . . enjoy watching your videos
Thanks so much for the great suggestions!! We will add those to our list of suggestions from our viewers that we have. 👍🏻😊🤓
Another great video. We put that on the list! Maybe we’ll just camp one month behind the recon team?
Haha! Yes you might need to do that! 😉
Good o covalent bonds is what it Looks like with your step peoblem. Aluminum step bracket and harden steel bolt in assembly will cause it to seize together possible.
👍🏻 It’s been working awesome now. Like a whole new step!
Cool video thanks for sharing I think next year we're going to plan a trip to Williamsburg. Was supposed to go Chesapeake Bay in a couple weeks. You guys sure do we good.
We hope you enjoy your trip to Williamsburg and hope you can still make it to Chesapeake Bay! 👍🏻😊🤓
Thanks, I really enjoy your videos
🧡😊🤓
Awesome video, it has also made me aware of the Obesity in America...I'll stay away from sugar and carbs!
Thank you! 😊🤓 It’s all tempting but always makes ya feel so awful AFTER eating it. :(
@@LivinRVision I was watching the people in the video behind you and it just hit me that what I've been hearing about obesity in America was right...it's shocking..I'm 72 and have gained wait and I don't like it, so that's the reason I commented. I rarely do comment but I really enjoy you two..I feel like your special people.
We have too lately and need to start being more healthy. The older we get the harder it gets even without eating bad.
Looks like you had a job there , was that aluminum? If it was I’m surprised it got binded up.plus hammering can cause damage easily.. great job on the repair seemed to
Be alittle stuburn ..
It is aluminum but I had the flat pice solid on the wood of the bench and was only hammering on the bolt end. No damage. 👍🏻 Aluminum as you know is a soft metal, so I was careful.
Love the 3d mapping tool that shows your travels. Like the voiceovers as well. Need to go in the audio book biz. Rhetorical question but i wonder how many of the 18 century structures were used in the 19th century conflicts in the area.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! We wonder the same thing about the 18th century structures.
we visited Colonial Williamsburg 3 years ago. Great place, lots of history. Were you able to visit Jamestown and Yorktown too?
So much history around that whole area. Yes we later went to Jamestown but didn’t have time for Yorktown. Hopefully if we make it back, we will visit it.
no phit .. nice video. makes me want to visit.
😂 It’s a great place full of history and beautiful scenery.
Very good video of Virginia. My son is there right now at Fort Lee army training center. Your handy skills are good, using leverage a razor knife and penetrating oil. I see you have experience. Pismo Paul
Glad you enjoyed the video!
It is interesting how many people are so busy taking video and pictures they miss the experience.
Live in the moment people
Do they? When we took vacations, we always did the same then. When we went to Italy (before UA-cam days) I put together a video about our trip for something to remember…which allows us to go back AND live the moment again. We are grateful we get to be in all these places. 🧡👍🏻😊🤓
Had the best chicken pot pie ever at a Williamsburg tavern - General Washington ate here, supposedly.
How cool! There were only 2 of the taverns open when we were there. Hopefully the others will be open next year.
My wife and I look fwd to your videos. Keep up the great work.
My wife has liked the leather backpack your wife has.
What brand is her backpack?
Thanks
Glad you’re enjoying the videos!
The brand of my backpack is Myztique. I bought it at a TJ Maxx however since I’ve been asked about it by a few others, we looked and found it on Amazon too. We have a link to it on our website LivinRVision.com go to the menu and under Amazon/Miscellaneous items it is listed there. 🤓
Thank you. My wife located your Amazon products. And yes, she deserves one. Safe travels.
Yay!! Hope she likes it!
I hate to break the bad news, but Hershey Ice Cream is not affiliated with Hershey Chocolate. Hershey Ice Cream is manufactured in Harrisburg. The affiliations with Hershey Chocolate is mistakenly made by many people.
👍🏻 Whoever makes it is really good at it…because it’s amazing! 😋
@@LivinRVision 👍
I saw you two were in vermont, but are you planning on coming up to Quebec sometime now that the borders are open?
We have started heading south for the winter. We hope to get up there another time though.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
👍🏻 Glad you liked it!
Since we have celiac disease in the family, we are always wondering about gluten free options when eating out. It’s none of my business, but I’m wondering if you have to be strict or prefer to eat gluten free. It sure makes it hard for us to share dessert!
It’s definitely hard to not enjoy the things you used to love to eat. All I know is that I am gluten intolerant, I have not had a celiac test yet.
Brian PIFF 😂😂😂
🤪😂
I don’t watch videos over 30 minutes in length but you guys have me hooked…I like your delivery and content. I did subscribe!!
Welcome to our channel and thanks for the sub! 🧡👍🏻 We’re glad you liked the video!
Was there a copy of the U.F. Confitution on hand ?...They didn't use the letter 'S' ?.LOL...... redonkuliff
😂🤪
Good video y’all and yes it’s a shame that our current government policies coming out of Washington encourages people not work and pay there rent but hopefully it will change
👍🏻 Glad you enjoyed it!
Fo funny I fit myfelf
😂🤣🤪
😆🤣😍😘
😁🤓🧡
Think I'll pass on Williamsburg
You gotta do you…not everything is for everyone. 👍🏻😊🤓
Peter Piper or Pied Piper?
😂🤣
Ok, this vlog was a little too "fisticated" for me, I am more of a burger and fries guy. The next guy I see with a big hole in his ear I'll probably now know he NAILED it.....no fit!
😂🤪
Enjoy the video, a little over the top with the facial expression.
👍🏻🤪
