I feel that is a lot of wax for the amount of dirt you use. Obviously it works for ya. I believe I did 2.5lbs of wax to 5 gallons of dirt last year and it worked well. I do mine in a foil pan on a fish fryer burner. Good luck this upcoming season
Great job buddy! I go through a lot of waxed dirt and have been doing it on my turkey fryer! I have a video out earlier this season if your interested! Good luck with everything my friend!
Just subscribed. I think I have watched just about every video you have uploaded in an effort to learn as much about trapping yotes. Is there any way to send you a DM asking a few questions? I hope you’re getting some sort of discount from supplier you are using for products you are recommending.

Anytime!
New to trapping here on Texas....so what reason for making wax dirt??? Usages
Mainly for making the sets freeze proof. That way when it gets down in the 20s at night the trap still goes off when the critter steps on it
I don't have a mixer but, will be making some wax dirt real soon.
Thanks for sharing, going to be making small batches at a time very soon.
Sweet man! Awesome set up!

I was going to do it that way until I found my grandpas old concrete mixer haha. Makes it so much easier!
