I know separate components generally provide the better listening experience, but to get a very pleasing and musical quality from fewer components is where it's at for me. So this system is perfect, in that regard.
It has a nice forward presentation. I like one that’s more laid back, but this sounds pretty good. The vocal just leaps out.

The bookshelf speaker that steals the thunder from most others in that category. This one has alot to offer. Not confined by the typical over focus on detail retrieval at the expense of musicality, common to many bookshelf speakers Great balance overall. Soundstage height and width are outstanding. The sound of a speaker at one and not apart from the source material. Never heard of this brand up until now. What a pleasant surprise. No doubt will be putting the Tor on the shortlist of speakers for the future.
Does sound great can't beat sealed boxes. Fewer components, less cables. What is the piece of music played here? Found it "Human" by Vanessa Fernandez. Is this PCM or DSD? What bit rate is it and at play back? Its so clear it must be the master tape!!!
