Late to the party, but do you remember how the Kula compares to the Makua/Kaluga combo? I need a new amp and was going to go with the Kaluga, but with the cost difference am curious about the Kula. Is there a big upgrade with the Kaluga driving your speakers?

You should get the Makua/Perca. That will give you the very best sound for most speakers. If you would like to discuss give us a call.

Nice video Bill had a question, does the Kula have the same version DAC as the Tambaqui by itself.

For digital, what equipment is used to feed the Kula and what input is used? Thanks.

You can choose any digital input you want and use whatever equipment you want. The Kula does not dictate what is up or downstream.

Mola Mola has two options. There is the stand alone (external) Lupe phono stage or the Lupe phono boards can be built into the Kula.

YES, if you have the Makua or Kula I would go with the built in.
