Hi, if you're Aussie. we in Sarawak and Sabah love you Aussies. So many Aussies and Kiwis fought here in the WW2. You won't get so much love from the West Malaysians. Many Aussies and I think, English came here to fight the Indonesians during the Confrontation. The soldiers conducted themselves well when here. Also so many East Malaysians studied in Australia and NZ universities.
Yes I am Australian ☺️ I did look in to the history of Australian soldiers in Borneo and the it is interesting. In Sabah I went to Australia Place and observed the area that the soldiers camped during WW2. I also saw some Australian universities in Borneo. Great friendship between Australia and the Borneo states 👏🏼
Hello from a busy and steamy Kata Beach Phuket 😎- Nice work Sam 👌 one of my fave things is to take a boat down the rivers ( where it is available to do so ) - I’ve been to Kota Kinabalu - I stayed at a place called - Lyankah Syabas - look forward to more soon
Hey mate I hope you are enjoying your trip…nice part of the world up there. I’ll look into where you stayed in KK, Borneo is a great place. Enjoy your holiday and chat soon ✌️
What a sensational gastronomic and historical ride in this video. You are a credit to your trade and you are just getting better and better with each video. It’s like a good book, I can’t put it down and wait for your next release. Keep up the great work Sam. By the way how do you maintain such an athletic figure with your sweet tooth? 😂😮
Thankyou for your kind words. The key to the slim figure is plenty of sugary goodness to provide the right amount of energy to walk all day…but shhh don’t tell anybody 🤫☺️
@@hussmeister haha, I totally know what you mean! My sis & I toured around the world recently and constantly craving foods we had in each country. Tomorrow, we’re driving a little far to try some Vietnamese dishes at “Little Saigon” 🤣 we’lol see how they compare
Really I appreciate your efforts And I'm waiting for your channel to grow more I really happy to see notification with a new videos from you Simple and real videos coming from very amazing personality
Salaam my friend. Thank you for your kind words. I’m glad you are enjoying the videos. I always aim to show the best of everywhere I visit. There really is alot of nice places in the world. Hopefully I can encourage others to also visit these places and enjoy the experience ☺️ I have alot of exciting videos coming.
@hussmeister insya Allah More successful videos I have been in Malaysia 7 times I'm so interested in this environment and culture I wish if you could compare between Indonesia and Malaysia Also best places to live in Malaysia I see you are an ambassador in the far East I'm Eagerly waiting for you new videos ..
There are places to eat Sarawak Laksa in Melbourne like "Sarawak Kitchen" (CBD) and "Terry's Kitchen" (Wantirna, better but only on the menu occasionally). They also have Kolo Mee. Might be a few other places but of course the best is still the original in Kuching. Melbourne actually has some very good Malaysian food if you know where to go.
Hey Vincent thanks for letting me know about the great food options in Melbourne. I will definitely look in to it. The Sarawak Kitchen option sounds closer. Thanks for your help 🙏🏽☺️
Notice something peculiar about Kuching CBD? The eastern part has mostly narrower one-way streets. IIRC that used to be the business centre of Kuching Town and it's administrative centre. That is until the Bukit Mata developments shifted it to the hotel precinct and Padungan Road.
Hello there friend. You have raised a very interesting point there. Only now that you have brought this up It all makes sense to me. I recall walking through some of those smaller streets. Great information 🙏🏽☺️
@@hussmeister You are most welcomed. Visit the several "colonial" buildings. (Note that Sarawak wasn't actually a colony of the UK until after the war. IIRC it became a protectorate of the UK in 1888. Heck, even the USA recognised Sarawak as an independent sovereign state in 1850, before the UK). The Sarawak Museum (I mean the old one), the Old Court House, Fort Margherita, the Square House, the Round House, the Pavilion, the Post Office, Brooke Dockyard and the Astana.
Hi, Sam! We played football together in KL. I am impressed with the quality of your vlog. Thanks for useful information about Kuching. Do you think it is a big difference between Kuala Lumpur and Kuching in terms of the weather?
Andrei how are you my friend? 👋🏼 thank you for your kind words. From my experience, the rainy season in Kuching was wetter and the rain lasted longer. I felt like the humidity was abit less in Kuching. Despite the weather I managed to do everything I wanted in four days. I’d love to go back again 🙂 I hope you are well
@@hussmeisteri am doing well, although a little bit nervous. My visa is running out, however I am still struggling to get a job. I will have an interview this Friday with employer from Kuching. I wonder what will be the next destination for your journey.😊
