In this video I am going to review the new ERBORIAN Super BB cream Au Ginseng .The new Erborian BB Cream is advertised as a hybrid product that is half skincare, half makeup. The new Erborian Super BB cream combines two Korean super-ingredients: white Ginseng and fermented Ginseng flower.
I wanted to compare this new and improved Erborian BB cream with my favorite Sisley Phyto Hydra Teint. Sisley’s Phyto-Hydra Teint is described as a new generation of tinted skin care that combines the effectiveness of daily skin care with a veil of color due to its all-in-one formula.
Both Sisley and Erborian are brands that are famous for their award winning skincare products that contain botanical extracts.
Please note that this is the first time that I am trying makeup product from Erborian. I noticed that the new and improved Super BB Au ginseng is advertised as product that is suitable for acne prone skin with imperfections. Their old BB cream is supposed to be more hydrating and is described as a light buildable tinted moisturizer. I suppose that it will be a better dupe to the Sisley Phyto Hydra Teint.
Reading the information of Erborian’s website, I think that the new Erborian Super BB cream is not an improved version of the old BB cream but it is just a product that is aimed at people with skin that is prone to imperfections.

Both sides look beautiful on you and as you have said so yourself, the Erborian BB cream is originally for acne prone skin. All BB creams tend to have more coverage than a CC or tint ed moisturizer so I get what you meant. As an oily skin person I do like BB creams. In the summer a thin layer lasts a long time. Applying the Erborian with a sponge will most certainly give a more natural, sheer finish.

Sisley is definitely the winner here. I never got along with the old Eborian tinted moisturizer and I do not think that the new one will work better for me. I remember that the color was bit off and it emphasized my pores. I’ll stay with my trusted Sisley, Chantecaille and Chanel products. The YSL eyeshadow looks beautiful on you. I recommend that you mix Erborian BB cream with a foundation you have. I heard a lot of Korean makeup artists mix Erborian BB with matt foundations. Thank you always! 👍😊
I really really love Erborian cream, (I have the older version.) their cc water cream , regular cc. Their glow face hero. etc… I love everything i have tried from them. You get 3samples on every order. I can’t afford Sisley, but I’m not mad Ihave dry skin I’m 62 and it’s really pretty on my skin. My daughter hates makeup but loves the cc cream 😊
I am with you in that I can't afford Sisley products so I watch Angela to torture myself, but in a good way!! I am currently looking at the Chanel LE blush from the spring collection that Angela has shown in so many videos. There are only a few left online anywhere and they are all in Japan. They are all in the mid $100's and I can't afford that but I still go and look at them!! I must be some kind of masochist.

I would definitely agree that the Erborian is not for those of us with dry skin,as I tried and it got more dry as the day wore on. Also the shade Clair is much too dark for me even in summer as I have classic Irish very pale skin so for an affordable option I recommend Missha BB cream in shade 13 for very dry and pale skin 😊
Yeah, the shades are difficult in almost BB / CC cream products. Somehow very ashy to my complexion. Unless for Missha 🙌 I have Asian friend with warm red hair and very pale skin with warm undertone, and the only BB cream shades which works on her complexion only the one from Missha 👍

Both sides look good - so pretty. I prefer a lighter product, so the Sisley had my vote, although I'm not sure it is worth the difference in price. Have you tried the Merit foundation?
Sisley definitely looks much more natural, it’s really enhances the natural beauty, whereas Erborian clearly looks makeupy
But I agree, powder changes the game a bit

Hi my friend. I haven’t been able to find a matching shade from any Sisley foundation. But will try searching again. Will try the Erborian. Love that it has white ginger. I think erborian is too pink for you and i think this was one of the reasons, apart from having more coverage, that it looked like make up, but still came out really nice in the end, I still love the sisley one much much more
I actually now might give sisley another try, I had tried it as a sample, my skin is neutral same as yours and similar color tone in general and had got the idea that it was too pink for me, cause I had felt it made my face alittle bit grey and dull but now that I saw it next to erborian its actually not pink at all, so I think i was also using wrong blush and bronzer shades that was making my face grey-ish, so i'm gonna try it again, wonderful comparisson either way !

Do you prefer the sisley tinted moisturizer or the sislet phyto nude?? I can't tell much of what the difference is between those 2 products. Do you think the phyto nude is better for combination to oily??
I didn't like the tinted moisturiser at all but i love the foundation, i have combination skin. Phyto teint ultra eclat.
Hi Adriana :) I didn't like Sisley Phyto Nude. It's more liquidly but it somehow emphasizes imperfections on my skin and doesn't wear beautifully during the day. The Sisley Phyto Hydra Teint is best for normal, normal to dry skin. If you have oily skin you will have to use a good amount of powder but I am afraid that it won't be long lasting on oily skin. It will work on combination skin but I think it's not the best option for oily skin.

I didn't like the sisley! But I love the erborian super bb in the autumn/winter months and I use the original erborian bb in spring/summer months and they have just reformulated it and it's stunning. Beautiful look Angela ❤

@@Frenchforaday Good evening Angela! I'm not so fussed about the cc creams they don't sit well on my skin. And if I may offer you a tip,when applying the super bb & the original less is more & I apply a tiny bit more under the eyes & set it with a little bit of loose powder. X
I received many sachets of CC Eye samples & tried it. Didn't impressed me. But I really like the BB Eye 3 in 1 (eye cream + concealer + spf) , I get a kind of baby soft skin under my eye, really love it! They said this is a hybrid eye skincare and makeup. This one only have one color

Is Sisley more long lasting?
I use Erborian CC cream since 2 years ago (only in the summer) and I feel the long lasting very weak. In a few hours I see no more coverage like when I use only compact foundation powder for example (without liquid foundation underneath).
I don't know of maybe the CC cream less coverage & less long lasting compared with BB cream .. but I'm looking long lasting product with sheer-light coverage like Bb / Cc / or moisturizer tint
One more question, is CeraVe sunscreen works well under the Chanel water fresh tint?

Mais ces 2 produits n’ont absolument rien à voir !! La super BB CRÈME est plus épaisse qu’un fond de teint alors que le PHYTO HYDRA TEINT DE SISLEY est une crème teintée !!! 🤦🏼♀️ J’zjoute que les BB CRÈME ET LES CC CRÈME ERBORIAN me donnent des boutons car ces produits sont bourrés de SILICONES !
