- Learn in this video how to change the exterior light settings of your BMW. Depending on equipment and version, by going to ""CAR"", ""Settings"", ""Exterior lighting"" you can select the settings for your 'Welcome Light', 'Door handle lights' and the 'Welcome Light Carpet'.

Keep wishing and it will come to you. Once you can see it in you mind it will become real. Once it is real it is yours. That's how I got mine. I just kept seeing a BMW in my Minds Eye parked on my drive and now it is. It's even the exact colour I wished for. Keep Believing and it will happen. That's how this Universe works and not just for BMW's.

i wish i could change the color of head and tail lights. M8 1of8 has georgeus yellow lazer lights. Maybe BMW adds this feature for the next generation cars.

I know sometimes it obvious but can you mentioned what equipment is needed to do these certain things too in your videos. This is most likely comfort access
Based on my recent 330i purchase I can confirm these features come with the comfort access package. Although interestingly in Canadian variant you can’t toggle the door handle lights individually (despite the fact I have them).

Du meinst das Licht unter der Seitenschürze? Nein, das nicht. Finde ich aber auch unnötig, wenn man die Beleuchtung in den Türgriffen hat. Zudem versteckt die LED unter der Tür ziemlich schnell.

I have a question, I saw an m340i a few weeks ago that had something like this welcome effect but it illuminated a small blue strip in the headlight(looked a bit like an el wire) was this a function of bmw headlights or did he install custom headlights?
That blue strip is present when you have Laser adaptive headlights (except if you're in the US). You can see that in this video as well. It's an option, but not aftermarket.

I thought that you were able to set the headlights colors as you wish, what a dissapointment
I had illuminated door handles in 2010 e91. They were activated always when I was unlocking the car - using remote control or by touching door handles (keyless). Now I have 2021 G20 without keyless. The door handles are not being activated when unlocking the car or opening the door. The only situation when they light up is when I open the door after driving. I have no idea why to illuminate external door handles when user is leaving off the car. Stupid and useless thing.
