G'day Guys, As I was editing I noticed I missed an important note* The Czech Vampire MLRS can reportedly fire 20km, Taking this figure the video shown and range shown is likely firing inside Ukraine, That said over the past weeks there has been increased RU reporting of this system firing into RU territory.
Have a great day
This is very strange that Russia are advancing because I thought Joe Biden had said Russia had already lost !! ??
🇷🇺🇺🇦 The Czech MLRS RM-70 Vampire, after shelling Belgorod, tried to hide in the forest, where it was destroyed by an Iskander OTRK missile. The spontaneous launch of a rocket after hitting the installation is clearly visible. Ukr military losses are followed by attacks on Russian civilians.
Hey mate, I just thought I'd add that the Ukrainians are using the serbian made EdePro G2000 122mm rockets from their vampires, which have an extended range of 40km.

Initial report for casualties in the restaurant in Donetsk city was 5 dead, 6 injured. I don't know what is the latest update, but we could assume the number should grow.
At this rate Russia will have taken more territory in Kharkiv in a week then Ukraine's NATO funded 2023 counteroffensive did in 6 months.

To do so would interfere with their primary considerations; the revenue stream. Willy has had the scales lifted from his eyes, it seems

I've noticed this as well, I think there is still room for improvement like mentioning the fact that Ukraine shelling of Belgarod is almost solely aimed at civilian targets. Just hrs ago they shelled a residential building and collapsed 10 floors killing innocent civilians.

Those damn Russian washing machines and shovels are lethal
Ya the MLRS are launching barrages of shovels on the Ukrainian trench lines .
C’mon man.
Spot on. Russia started at a disadvantage with its oldskool MLP-50 combat shovel, but since then, they invented and deployed quite a few new types of shovels. Cluster shovels, AI swarm shovels, heat-seeking thermobaric shovels, guided titanium shovels and hypersonic ballistic shovels.

I honestly believe that the Russian advance in the North is intended to force Ukrainians to deploy soldiers from other areas, thereby weakening them strategically. This tactic aims to stretch the Ukrainian army, which is already struggling to hold positions and protect the front line. Additionally, I believe the bigger plan may involve targeting Odessa.
My thoughts too. And if Ukraine ignores it then Russia will keep pushing, and eventually Ukraine will be forced to move troops from other fronts.
Все верно... ну разве что, за исключением Одессы... полагаю, Одесса, пока, находится за горизонтом планирования...
That makes sense but Odessa involves a water crossing. How are the Russians gonna move units across the Black Sea into Odessa. I'm not saying it's impossible but it's very difficult.
@@IAMJEFFREY-cw9nsErmm.. they would go over the land to take Odessa, not invade via the sea..
Think of it as a gigantic "enveloping" move, like we've seen on a smaller scale so many times in the past couple years. Now Russia is coming at Ukraine from the South, East, and North.
Zelensky's strikes on Belgorod is of absolutely no strategic value. This should anger Russians AND the Ukrainians too!
Greetings from Kiev! The saddest thing is that the people here rejoice at such strikes. And those who call such strikes terrorism are considered "traitors".

the soviet made 9m521 rocket goes 40KM.
a MLRS's range is determined by the rocket it is firing, not by the system itself.

It's a layered push, they will use multiple waves who each basically frogleap the prior wave so that one can rest and dig in while fresh forces further push the exhausted defenders. Kiev can't commit the reserves North because frankly there are no reserves and Russia keeps the pressure up all along the frontline meaning as soon as they move troops away that part of the front will inevitably give leading to more breakthroughs. But the Northern offensive is the real deal, the objective is to envelop Charkow and take the land between Seversky Donets and Oskil down to Isiom.

There is this a notion that Ukraine wins if Russia only takes 40% to 50% of the Ukraine. 50% is better than 100%, but a victory? I don't think so, its like saying losing a soccer game 10 to 0 is better than losing by 20 to 0.

Since the game is 0-0 according to them the other team (Ukraine)doesnt a bench to replace the injured players taken of the field
When is the last time you have seen a T90 or a SU57. Russia is pushing with all it has. It is pulling out all its old equipment it has left in storage and claims it as NEW production. AFU can leave a relatively small force here and as long as they're supplied with drones crossing is pretty much Impossible, at least without massive casualties. It's not a simple operation you can just pivot to, it has to be carefully planned and prepared.
This report is quite outdated. Zelensky have now fired the commander of Kharkiv, and ordered 6 more battalions to the north front. These Battalions are taken out from Chassiv Jar, Kherson, and other parts of the eastern front. On other channels, they have identified 4 battalions currently fighting in the north: 2 regular infantry and 2 "home defense" battalions. The later ones was blamed be the reason for the russian fast success. More details about these at the Military summary channel.
So, 4 actual plus 6 more is 10 battalions. Not sure how big ukr. battalions are these days, but that would mean 20k to 50k on the ukr. side committed to defend Kharkiv. It seems that Zelensky is taking the new thread now very serious.
Is Zelensky a front line general is he?
It seems the Russians are creating a buffer zone to increase defense of Belgorod which had had some Ukrainian attacks . It doesn't seem to be about occupying Kharkiv as it is too well defended . This explains why the Russians blew up a major bridge which otherwise would have allowed them to attack Kharkiv from the left . This bridge is only on the only good road in the region which otherwise has lakes and rough ground to cross . It is to hinder the Ukrainians from attacking Russians The Russians are building a defense position to protect Belgorod . In all of this we must remember the Russian army is not stupid .They adapt and do everything for a reason .
I don't like a country taking another's land but at this point wouldn't negotiation be better now?
Ukraine doesn't want to negotiate with Putin and Putin doesn't want to leave Ukraine with enough taken from the Ukrainians.
That train left March 2022 when Boris Johnson told Zelinsky to derail the peace talks. Unfortunately.
Not too late but to negotiate now for Ukraine will be politically suicidal for Zelensky, and Biden.
if Russia wants peace they as the agressor can very easily withdraw from the occupied areas and pay Ukraine reparations for all it has destroyed, of course they won't do that, because they want power over its neighbours not cooperation and flourishing of both
@@oliverchannelpr227 that's unrealistic Russia is obviously not going to give back the regions it has taken and those regions are going to drain Ukraine as they have Russian separatists, Ukraine should cut the cord with them, join the EU and NATO before Russia takes more.

The Russian goal might be to expand the lines and attack at multiple location. This forces Ukraine to redeploy troops and major equipment attempting to stop biggest threats. Russian air superiority then has the opportunity to destroy a lot of equipment and troop transfers. This tactic will result in domino effect of increasing huge losses which Ukraine cannot replace. At some point in future, Ukraine will be so depleted, Russian can resume maneuver warfare and that makes the capture of Odessa possible.
Wtf?
how can I see your map ?
Don’t pretend to know Russia’s 🇷🇺 goals you are not privy to Russian 🇷🇺 Generals briefings 😂😂😂
True, but military goals are a very vital ingredient in any military analysis. Whilst NOBODY knows the Russian generals' objectives, speculation on possible objectives and directions of the war is free game to any sensible analyst. I am partisan to Russia, but respect Willy's analysis, he is trying to be fair. I love Dima, but he is really partisan to Russian interests in his speculation. Speculation is part of the business, unless you are clairvoiant yourself.
@@cobusduplessis1713 Well Dima is right at least! How many pieces of cake do you want?

Last time I checked, the Russian population has been declining for over the last few decades. And this war is depleting even more lives that an already dwindling population can't afford
Okay so the final group that has to be appeared is "A". And as I heard long ago the groups form the word "AZOVX" which means defeat of Azov. There were also groups like "/" or "-" or idk.
Looks like a recon in force or probing attack, its to draw Ukrainian reserves and especially tactical assests like artillery and SAMs, we have seen already several SPGs, MLRS and Buks being hit by long range strikes after drones spotted them. They will probe ans see if there are gaps in defenses to exploit if the opportunity appears
Great unbiased professional work as always! Thanks for what you are doing.
If not confronted and pushed out. A buffer zone of people’s republics will be established in those 3 north regions.
This is, if russia wants to pause the war. After taking Donbas (the 5 annexed) and before pushing for the Medvedev map.
I guess the idea you floated in between is the most likely one. They open the front and force Ukraine to react.
If the reaction is strong and many resources are allocated, they just let the new front burn on low flame without further pushes.
If the reaction is weak and a further push seems likely to succede, then they advance.

Willy, maybe you could just look at what Russia has said about what their objectives are.
The Russians have explained it quite clearly, and they dont mince their words.
They have spoken many times of their desire to create a buffer zone on the ukie/ruskie border.
Not rocket surgery.
You should also go back and listen to what Russia has said about taking territory.
They are not foremost interested in taking ground. They are about attrition.
All ground can be taken through attrition.
Russia is farking the west, slowly.
But Ukraine don't want to be a buffer zone.
Georgians don't want to be buffers.
Belarussians voted Lukashenko out but the Russians saved his sorry ass because he's a buffer zone.
Finland don't want to be a buffer zone.
Moldova don't want to be a buffer zone.
Poor little old Putin.
Nobody wants to be his buffer zone.
Putin also said he wants to reestablish all the territory lost when the Soviet Union collapsed. Putin thinks he is the next Peter the Great or Katherine the Great. You keep on believing the propaganda, while Putin is playing the long game
Willy, is it possible the Russian current offensive is in Kharkiv because it is the only area where Russia can fire their glide bombs from further inside Russia, keeping aircraft somewhat safer? F16's can not arrive fast enough?
f16 can't do anything bro.
