    Thank you for your sharing this, In your opinion which one wins in sound quality etc, number one winner, then second and third position?

      Do you still have the rcf 912 A? Did you fix the home sound issue in bass response? I would like to buy this speaker but I wonder if I should go to 910 version. Me too I like kick bass but I got tired of it soon.

      @@CharliGTImk4 Yes the problem was the acoustics in my house no the speakers. The speakers are great

    Just got my 935a today and this have white noise coming out even without any xlrs plugged in and the volume knob is all the way down like it’s on Mic and not line. Is this normal?

    Hello sir
    I like to ask you how is Yamaha DBR15 in your opinion looking to get for our small church. I was looking at QSC K12.2 as well but found out the disperse pattern is 75 degree which means less sound spread? Please advise. Appreciated.

      Get the Yamaha. It’s cheaper and a small church doesn’t need all the dsp functions of the qsc

    Hey I have the 945’s. I used them a week ago in open air and after 5 hours I touched them in the back where the amp is and they were hot. Is this normal? Do they heat up and then cool down?

    Hey buddy, I just got the RCf 912 A, they sound great, I use to have the qsc k12.2 I notice the 912 have more kick bass than the qsc. Thats a good thing for mobile dj events but when I use them home its too much bass even in the linear setting. I have to eq the bass. Any tips in what to do about this?

      You are on the right track. Since these have the BMC feature that allows them to go so much lower. If you are using them at home you might want to put a crossover point with a butterworth 24 at 40 or 50 hz to keep it from being too much low end.

    Can you compare 935 against a 3 way box

  • @KurtKnispel3200
    @KurtKnispel3200 2 роки тому +1

    Thanks for the test. The 935 produces tons of distortion. Did you realize that your single tone low frequency analysis reveals that? You said something like "the 935 does some cool stuff at 60 Hz". Every peak above or below the actual sinus tone is a distortion component. Especially at 20 Hz the 935 produced three times more distortion than signal. So no output would be better for sure.

      How does it compare in this case to the competition? Do you think it’s because it’s housed in plastic?

    • @KurtKnispel3200
      @KurtKnispel3200 2 роки тому +1

      @@travelthebest2676 No, I do not think so. It is probably because of the LF-transducer. The other loudspeakers have lower distortion.

    • @travelthebest2676
      @travelthebest2676 2 роки тому

      Any recommendations in the same price range? I don’t think there is a great deal of competition sadly

      Plus is it audible to the listener, that’s the better question

    • @KurtKnispel3200
      @KurtKnispel3200 2 роки тому

      @@travelthebest2676 The loudspeakers are not designed to play 20 Hz and if used with a subwoofer it might not be a problem but this level of distortion is audible. It is more distortion than signal at 20 Hz, so you hear more of the distortion than the signal.

    Would you recommend pair of these RCF 935A or 4 RCF HDL20a(2 on each side) for medium sized events?

    • @djteknovibe93
      @djteknovibe93 3 роки тому +3

      The HDL-20A have better sound quality but don't ever use two per side because they have a horizontal dispersion of 100 degrees so two per side would give you problems unless the HDL20A cabs were spread apart by at least 30 feet. If they're close you'll get dispersion overlap and as a result, comb filtering. In most halls or small venues the HDL-20A cabs would be best stacked as a mono array, meaning in the middle. Line array such as the HDL-20A are designed to be used as either mono array centrally placed or only in very, very wide venues, say for example 80 feet wide venues then you can use one stack per side but even then you have to be careful not to place them near side walls or once again you'll get comb filtering.

    • @djteknovibe93
      @djteknovibe93 Рік тому

      @@djsergiubulgar4922 You mean HDL not HDM. Any professional sound engineer will tell you the same, if you use multiple speaker cabinets with wide dispersion angles (for example 90 degree or 100 degree) and you splay them or don't turn them enough to compensate for their wide horizontal coverage you WILL get comb filtering that is a 100% proven FACT!!!
