    I experienced the same too on the new 945's. I bought two of them to use for larger events to do music playback for festivals and picnics. RCF is so musical sounding compared to EV ETX's, QSC K series, and JBL SRX's. Also when you use them on a live band format- there isn't any comparisons either. The mid tones really shine through- electric and acoustic guitars, keyboard and pianos, and especially on the drums- snare, toms, and floor toms. The NX series is a must have for affordability and pro sounding!!!

    Thank you for the comparison, to be honest, I would still choose the OG 735As for live sound. Based on your sampling, I did like how the 735As threw the cymbals and hit hats. The 935As are more of all-around speakers, very hi-fiish sound, djs will love them.

    Very informative video!!! What top would you recommend to pair with RCF L18P400 sub woofers? It’s housed in a custom double, horn loaded cabinet. I’m looking for a 2 or 3way speaker that has excellent highs and mids used mainly for indoor Reggae events.

    Hi, I recently bought 935a, and when I'm listening to them there are constantly some high frequencies that I don't like, around 8-12khz (and above). Bass response and mids are good, I just have problem with highs. I am longtime user of NX-45, which sound really good (using them with subs), and a big fan of 735mk4, which sound sweet for standalone use :) So I just wanted to hear your opinion, how do you compare high frequencies on 935 to other RCF models? Am I crazy?

    • @sweettreeproductions2149
      @sweettreeproductions2149  Рік тому +1

      At higher volumes the 935’s do seam to limit the low and mid frequencies while allowing the high frequency to keep going. So they can start to sound harsh. A dynamic EQ or multi band compressor helps a ton with this.

      @aleksandarkikivideos Рік тому +2

      @@sweettreeproductions2149 Whole point of mobile cheap plastic boxes is to use them standalone, with no additional processing. I'm so frustrated they tuned that box in that way, it's really not pleasent for listening. But DJ's seems to like them a lot, so I left them for rental, and for personal use keep the NX-45 with subs.

  • @aaronl7669
    @aaronl7669 Рік тому +2

    I was thinking about getting an ART 945 for use in smallish bars so i can just run the whole band through it. I assumed that I could run bass guitar and kick drum through it and still have great vocals and guitar due to the 650 Hz crossover. Would you say this is the case based on the 935 sound? For larger indoor stuff or outdoor stuff I would just add a sub to the 945, which should sound amazing above a sub.

    • @metriotescomment5269
      @metriotescomment5269 Рік тому +1

      The 935 sound really good outdoors too. But if you’re doing something like djs and stuff like that you also might consider adding a sub. For wedding I don’t think it’s necessary. Have a good one buddy💪🏼

    What about, this 935a vs 745a is it some upgrade?, since 945a is more expencier than both but 745 and 935 are there at the price, but on net specs shows that 745 schould still dominate the 935, but I am curious of that 2100w amp, is it louder stronger more punchier and far throw speaker becouse of stronger amplifier or 745 will still smack its ass, but onli lose to 945a?

      From mid to 3 probably 4 o'clock max, after that will clip ^_^ i like on speakers where u have 0.0db and u can pump it on ur mixer but on those kind of "knobs" u must adjusting mixer plus speaker to get the max of speaker without red light comming... so those speakers with rdnet dispplay controls so hdm 45 and up tt line is ++ from me, allso old tt22 tt25a without display it got 0, -2 and +4 to get like boost thing but those some high end drivers that can take it so, but for the money, those are budgetly oriented speakers from rcf to enter the pro sound so its worth every penny, from 715 to 745 915 945 what ever u get u can be sure audience will be happy with sound, but 915 715 u will need sub, dont have 945 or 900 series didnt hear but have old 745 1 for monitoring for dj "me" and some house parties to 50 ppl, have heard and worked 715, without sub 2 715 are like 745, with sub they kinda same at 10-15m range after 4" compression driver shines it throw sound further, I assume this is the case allso in 900 series of art from rcf ^_^, getted the 745 1 couse guy had just 1 lefted, he had 4 so sold 3 and got great deal on that one, allmost like 715 mk4 a tiny bit more, but far off from New in terms of price, I wanned hdm 45 but for the price i am more than happy, dont plan to get another one couse have old tt25a or mk1 without those dsp but have separetls rdnet controler so it is the same as in speaker, but older ones are qbout 20% stronger compared to newer ones but need to tune sound to mach the New ones in quality but with extra 20% hp u can do whatever u want, if u want to upgrade from 735a's u get, but hdm 45, they how much I heard and saw here are stronger than 900 or 945a speaker, or jump to tt25a wich is allmost the same as hdm 45, more than 150ppl u will need the sub, wich ever top speaker u have, sub is sub, so dont get this, uness ur thight on bundget and dont have any speaker, well its worth it.

It feels like such a newbie question but I keep getting conflicting information from various "informed" people, some saying start at unity while others say 2 to 3, and even some insisting they're meant to be run wide open.

      All the people I know run the known all the way, and then set the volume in th mixer.
      Usually in other cases we would want to put the knob at 0 db, but in rcf we can't know where it is.
      Also there are a very powerful speakers.

    • @francescog53550
      @francescog53550 Рік тому +1

      run them all the way up, eventually the limiter is strong enough to protect the speakers 9 times out of 10, at least for RCF

    • @sweettreeproductions2149
      @sweettreeproductions2149  Рік тому

      We run ours at 3 o clock. This definitely makes the speaker a little quieter when nothing is being produced. It seams to match unity closest. On our TT and HDL26 however we run wide open because they are definitely gained lower. We can also adjust in Rdnet.

      @@daveelder4792 I was able to listen to a NX32 vs NX45 last week with an A/B comparison on recorded music. I will say that no matter what I did to try to get the volumes even, I preferred the sound of the NX45, and it sounded louder at lower volumes even I think. Both were much better sounding than my Yamaha DXR12 (which I had there as well as a direct comparison.). The DXR12 sounded muddy in comparison without doing a big boost on the high end EQ. The NX32 just didn't sound as full to me. I can't really explain it any better than to say that the NX45 was better with a direct comparison, so I'd expect the 945 is better sound than the 932 or 935. I listened with the speakers both high passed with a sub and in full range. In any scenario. the NX45 was best. I will say that the NX45 didn't seem to have a ton of low end. I've heard the 945 would have more low end in full range than the NX45. I could see that being true.
