My family has a Winchester 1906 that was one of the first run of round barrels. Almost 100 years old and still works like a charm. We call it the squirrel sniper rifle. My brothers and I learned basic marksmanship with it and have used it to teach all of our kids. Great firearms.

I have a semi auto with the same loading mechanism. It's not inconvenient for me and it's relatively quick, not to mention the capacity on it is pretty nice. It's pretty old though, so it has a lot of feeding issues since it isn't a pump.
I used to have a rifle similar to this, only it was lever action. It was the first gun my dad had me shoot, and it made me feel like a cowboy! Thank you for helping me dig up some fond memories!
