SNIPING CRAPPIES in the Fall! What do I use?! (Vertical Jigging)

Went out on a beautiful day in the middle of October, on a lake in the Brainerd Lakes Area! The water temp was in the low 50’s. I used plastic and jig, fatheads, crappie minnows, and sniped crappies using my Livescope in down view. Slowly trolled along trying to stay with any schools I found. It seemed like the more aggressively that I jigged, the more enticed the fish would be to bite. Definitely caught enough for a meal, but didn’t keep any. I try to disperse what I keep throughout the year and try not to deplete any spot that I find while fishing. With the electronics we have nowadays, it is easier to find fish, I feel we need to be conscientious of what and how many we keep so that we don’t destroy our valuable resources.

got up to 81 today in south carolina. Thursday morning suppose to be 31. probably gonna stun the fish but they will bounce back.
