So interesting, the difference between different regions. I spent 5 days in the BWCA during that warm spell at the end of September, with water temps hovering around 61-63. The walleye were SO FIRED UP. We absolutely demolished them. They were exactly where you'd expect them to be, and they were all 17"-26". Pendu jigs and jerk minnow jr. The walleye bite was insane for several days.
Did you do the latest mega live software update? Came out October 6th I believe. Just tried mine out on the water. Wow did it improve the picture and lure tracking!

I fish bigger lakes I really don’t have trouble finding walleye, a lot of my smaller lakes I fish for panfish have big walleye in them but I can’t seem to catch any
My guess is you were on Leech near Little Hardwood? Was just there a week ago and the bite was pretty good with the steady SE winds that were blowing in there for days... Good one Tom
I don't have many options for places to fish within reasonable distance and my main option is so snaggy it would cost $200 to attempt fishing hyper rattle. Not to mention the frustration.....

@@TomBoley because he told me you only can Jig for them only in the springtime because the males be on the bottom he said the fall time they be off the bottom up in the water column feeding

I would like to ask you a question can you do the same thing on lake Erie jig for them in the fall time just like we do in the springtime

try a super small river. insane bite this time of year but might need a smaller boat

In the fall time we go out at night time on the rocks or the pier and catch walleyes in the fall time using jointed bombers or husky jerk
