NOTE: This is a different category than the Cosmic-Ocean score runs! This run ends at 7-4 after defeating Hundun, collecting the $200k bonus, and not dealing with Hou-Yi's bow. "No-CO" in the title means "No-Cosmic Ocean".
This run was awesome, and very interesting since it's my first Plasma Cannon finish, as well as the only score PB I've gotten without a Jetpack.
The small sad ghost can be killed if you bait him from the very top of the level all the way down to the bottom, as he will try to follow your trajectory. Once he's far enough off screen, listen for the "splat" (the timing is pretty tight, as you can see I failed several times). - Ігри

The plasma cannon being left behind at the end felt very cinematic to me.

I really prefer non-CO score runs because as soon as you reach CO it just becomes the same thing for 3 hours, on top of however long the run to get there is.

twiggle just so you know, if a player corpse or slave corpse is brought back to life by a necromancer, both will have the angry slave a.i. that tries to murder you, regardless of how the player or slave died.
And they are WAY more dangrous than shop keepers

I think the ghost didn't disappear in the black market because its a lot smaller than the front layer.
2-1 was painful because you could've climbed up there in the latest update now that the climbing gloves were buffed.

Somethin interesting I found out about the power pack is that it can actually knock the crocmen unconscious with the whip but they'll still teleport. With that in mind you can run over to their unconscious bodies and kill them.
10/10 would watch again

The reason as to why the sad ghost kill failed is because the angry ghost was too close.
Angry ghost goes straight after the player, sad ghost tries to mirror angry ghost, so if angry ghost is 11 blocks above the player and 2 blocks to the left, sad ghost will rush as quickly as possible towards 11 blocks below and 2 blocks to the right of the player. Of course, since each ghost is moving so fast, the target destination changes all the time since you and angry ghost are moving so quickly. A really good way of doing this would be to take a picture of angry ghost at the top and rush down to the bottom, since now that angry ghost is stunned, sad ghost is going to try to be that far away from the player as well
Looks like this is getting pretty close to optimal. Could get maybe an extra 300k from ghosting the remaining NB levels with an NB vault, 100k profit for ghosting Sun, plus ~200k in other lost gems?
With an equally large CoG and IC, would perfect run be ~6.5M? Guessing this one will be yours for a while, great run.
Also, Happy is objectively best ghist.

You could never ghost Idols.
There where Ghost Idols in the predecessor Spelunky, which spawned normally and triggered the Ghost when they were picked up. They were seemingly replaced by the functionally near-identical Curse Pots/ Ghost Pots
Edit: The ''Ghost Idols'' in Spelunky were called Crystal Skulls
