Finally got a True Crown score run above $10mil! I wasn't too concerned about finishing this one, since I finished my Plasma Cannon score run, so I went hard ghosting and trying to optimize score.
It could've been $13mil with decent levels, for sure would've been at $12mil if the yeti moment didn't happen.

continuing the trend of setting insane spelunky WR's on April 1st. started with d_tea's 8.765 mil run in 2019, continued with spef's max low eggplant in 2020
also d_tea spelunky 2 wr today! he got a 52:00 minute run and i watched all of it, crazy stuff!

Do the items in there cost a lot of money or someting?
@@bruxtle they cost small amounts of money, specifically amounts that are not multiples of 25 so you can get neat looking scores like 5,636,636

Reminder that in this run he not only carried a backup jetpack in his hands, he found ANOTHER crust jetpack when all hope seemed lost after losing the second (no longer backup) jetpack. Truly an emotional rollercoaster

it makes me unreasonably happy that you’re doing these super long runs + daily challenges with commentary. I love watching spelunky 2 videos but hearing you laugh and talk about the game makes it so much more entertaining

Go practice the qilin skip(preferably using Vlad Cape+climbing gloves or jetpack), it will save some time and also you get to save the ankh too

Edit: oh, the answer is obvious: because Twiggle broke it, and only one highscore is registered. The higher one replaces the other.

No, score runs are different than any%. You dont have to clear the game for it to count

I think if it was the slightest bit closer it would’ve hit him. I believe rocks that are blown up by yourself still can hurt you, same wit corpses or any object.
@@StinkyPoopyMcFartFace I'm not sure about rocks. But I'm pretty sure that bodies are not sopposed to hit you if you blow them up, but something like a shotgun will hit you. Though you can never trust what spelunky is going to do. But maybe the rock was close to hitting him.
